Reviewed Aug 24, 2025We loved our weekend away at Gateway to Glaslough, the house was beautifully decorated with everything we could possible need. Beds were extremely comfy. Location was perfect, only short drive into Monaghan town and the cows in the field behind was lovely to have a coffee with, was expecting an early wake up call from them, but they were well behaved. Úna was a great host, could contact any time and the welcome treats ended up perfect for picnic in Rossmore Park.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2025Die Lage im Grünen nur wenige Minuten außerhalb der Stadt war wunderschön. Die Sitzgelegenheit im Garten ist bei Schönwetter ideal und die neugierigen Kühe auf der Weide nebenan unterhalten Jung und Alt. Bei Regen bietet das geräumige Haus genügend Platz für alle.

Reviewed May 10, 2025Great and complete house with a driveway and a nice backgarden. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the back garden - in the sun - watchin the hill, trees and birds. The best location in county Monaghan - central but quiet. Nice extras from the friendly host. Great beds, own kitchen, washing machine and more. I could live here indefinite. :-)

Reviewed Nov 25, 2024Fabulous from the start. Úna, you are the best host. Great communication from the first day we booked right up until checkout time. If your looking for a home away from home this the property for you. Amazing welcome package on arrival with everything we needed at hand. The house was spotless and bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The only down side for us was that we were at a wedding in the area so we didn't get to enjoy the property or the area as much as we would of liked to but we are definitely going to rebook at a later date to experience the town again. Honestly do not hesitate to book this property. You won't be disappointed. Thanks again Úna for your amazing hospitality x
