Gorgeous cottage with fully equipped kitchen. Very friendly and helpful owners.

A little out of town. But nice and quiet.

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful road-trip around Ireland for about 16 days. We stayed in 8 different properties and whilst they were all very good, Sweetlamb was for me the best! A beautiful cottage - very old but all renovated so there was no musty, damp smell to it, which we experienced elsewhere in an old cottage. The facilities were perfect for us and it was really comfortable; lovely added touches which made it super homely. Location was amazing with wonderful views. The owner, next door, did a meet and greet which for me was perfect. This was the only time this happened on our trip as in all other places we collected the keys in a key box - it made it much more personal for me and the owner was so lovely. I would highly recommend Sweetlamb and only wished we had longer. We would love to return!

Veel ruimte, goed uitgeruste keuken. Twee slaapkamers, beide met een tweepersoonsbed en één ook een éénpersoonsbed. Afzonderlijke eet- en zitkamer. Zeer rustig gelegen, maar voldoende faciliteiten in de directe omgeving.

Geen koffiezetapparaat aanwezig, alleen oploskoffie. Lange mensen moeten oppassen voor hun hoofd. Eén toilet, op de bovenverdieping.

Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin mit tollen Ausflugstips.

It’s a stunning property in a quiet location but still handy for local attractions such as the JFK arboretum and the must-visit Dunbrody famine experience ship. Just wished we’d stayed longer than two nights.

Beautiful old renovated farmhouse that had everything we could possibly need. Lovely being in the countryside and just the best hosts you could ask for. Thanks to Anja and family for looking after us so well

My husband and daughter stayed for a week in January. It was warm and cosy. The garden was lovely, well kept. Parking was ample. They said the accommodation was great and beds were comfortable. They didn't find any faults with it. They would definitely stay again.

There wasn't anything bad at all. It was great! The only suggestion my husband could make was to have an optional mat for in the bath save slips.

Beautiful cottage very comfortable and everything we needed on hand. Lovely location, host was excellent and gave us great information about things to do in the area.

Peaceful stay in beautiful countryside just outside New Ross, easy to explore nearby coast (Hook Head). Charming farmhouse with well-equipped kitchen. Host was very pleasant and helpful.

We loved everything about this property! Beautiful location, gorgeous cottage, so quaint and homely, very comfortable and warm, and everything has been thought of right down to a selection of cute slippers if you need some. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Sofa wasn't very comfortable.

We booked a last-minute family getaway and were very lucky to get this guest house. Anni was very accommodating and met us upon arrival to give a brief rundown on the accommodation. The house was spotless and the garden space for your kiddies was a much. Also incredible, breathtaking views

Tolles Haus für uns alleine, mit allem was man braucht und sollte man dennoch eine Frage oder ein Anliegen haben bekommt man umgehend eine Rückmeldung der Gastgeber. Wir kommen wieder wenn wir das nächste Mal in der Gegend Urlaub machen 😃

Das Badezimmer ist relativ klein und der Einstieg in die Dusch-Badewanne etwas tricky.

Beautiful renovated cottage with the most spectacular views from garden. Really peaceful and quiet at night and warm cosy beds meant we slept so well! We stayed with our baby and our host Anja made sure we had everything we needed for her - cot, blankets and a high chair aswell as toys and even a little homemade gift! We will be back.

TV channel selection, only a minor issue

Sweetlamb Guest House exceeded my expectations! The house itself was very spacious and comfortable, providing ample room to relax. I particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which had all the necessary utensils and pots to prepare dinner. It made our stay feel like a home away from home. The host was fantastic – incredibly helpful with local insights and always quick to respond. Their recommendations truly enhanced our experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-supported stay.

Location was great. The property is very warm and cosy and comfortable. My son and I stayed but 4 people could be comfortable easily. It retains many original features and has a lot of character compared to newer homes. The hosts were friendly but unobtrusive.

In the country and very quiet but only a couple of minutes from New Ross. Very comfortable and for self catering had everything that one could want. Quite a few places have ovens but no oven proof dishes. This place had it all.

I was in New Ross for work purposes. I came across this place and decided to extend the stay so I can go and spend more time in Co. Wexford. I am glad I did and that I came across this gem of a place. Such an idyllic place and location.
