Reviewed Sep 1, 2026Everything was perfect. Traunkirchen is a lovely place by itself; the beach was just a short walk away, and the flat was clean, well-equipped and spacious. Parking at the hotel was included in the price. We only found the mattresses a bit too soft, but I realise that this is very much a matter of personal preference.

Snad jedině, že jsme přijeli s dvěma auty a místo u hotelu je pro každý apartmán jen jedno. Ale chápu to, v městečku moc místa není ...

Niets viel tegen, we waren er in een erg warme tijd van 38+ graden en dan was airco of een vriesvak in de koelkast welkom geweest maar het lekkere koele water van het meer maakte veel goed

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Wunderschönes Apartment in einem wunderschönen Ort. Die Lage ist außergewähnlich: Traunkirchen ist absolut malerisch, direkt am Traunsee, der von hohen Bergen umrahmt ist. Es gibt einen tollen Badeplatz.
Es war alles perfekt. Ich habe sogar ein Upgrade bekommen und durfte ein Fahrrad ausleihen. Die Wohnung ist super schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber. Trotz des heißen Wetters waren die Temparaturen im Schlafzimmer angenehm luftig.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und komfortabel eingerichtet, die Küche qualitativ hochwertig mit Allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Zudem ist jede Wohnung ein bisschen anders und äußerst liebevoll individuell gestaltet worden, was die Auswahl der verwendeten Textilien betrifft, „Nichts von der Stange“ eben. Ein hübsches „Cross-Over“ indem auch alte mit neuen Möbeln kombiniert wurden. Das Personal ist sehr sehr nett und äußerst hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist 1A, wirklich direkt im Zentrum des Ortes, dort, wo es am schönsten ist. Der Badestrand ist ganz nah (2 min.) und es gibt einen zugehörigen Parkplatz direkt am Haus (Stressfreies Be-und Entladen).
Da fällt mir Nichts ein.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Die Lage des Apartments in Traunkirchen ist sehr gut. Ein toller Badeplatz befindet sich ca. 50m entfernt. Sehr gut fanden wir, dass wir eine „Erstausstattung“ an Kaffee, Öl, Essig usw. vorfanden. Danke auch dafür. Die Küche ist natürlich hochwertig mit allen relevanten Dingen ausgestattet. Der Schnitt der Wohnung und der Balkon sind sehr gut.
Eine kleine Anmerkung möchten wir zu der Höhe des Spiegels im Bad machen, 20cm tiefer wäre für Gäste unter 1,70m Körpergröße hilfreich.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Die Lage ist toll - die Landschaft ist malerisch schön & der Ort sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Auch das Appartement war ein Traum, sehr geräumig, mit allem was das Herz begehrt ausgestattet & einer großen Terrasse auf der wir als große Gruppe essen konnten. Die Gastgeber waren so herzlich, dass sie uns bei der Anreise sogar mit einem Upgrade unserer Buchung überrascht haben, sodass wir eine zweite kleine Wohnung dazubekommen haben in der unsere Teenager dann einen separaten Bereich hatten. Das ist alles andere als selbstverständlich! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Traunkirchen!

Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die ruhige Lage und die freundliche Atmosphäre. Traunstein ist ein wunderbarer malerischer Ort. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch unser Vierbeiner hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt!
Traunstein ist sehr sehr ruhig, was man positiv, aber auch negativ sehen kann.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025Wir würden herzlich begrüßt und haben für unseren Aufenthalt ein gratis Wohnungsupdate bekommen. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist hochwertig, was in FeWo sehr selten ist. Das Parken direkt vor Tür ist besonders einfach, wenn man mit viel Gepäck reist.
Ein Smart TV würde die Wohnung weiter aufwerten.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2025Einfach alles super, die Ausstattung des Appartements ist außergewöhnlich, sehr gemütlich und es hat wirklich nichts gefehlt. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und individuell gestaltet. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Küchenausstattung ist top!!. Die Lage sehr gut, es gibt genügend Parkplätze beim Haus. Der See ist keine 50 m entfernt. Die Gastgeber und das Personal sehr freundlich, unaufdringlich und zuvorkommend. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter hat man hier eine gute Zeit. Wir haben die Tage wirklich genossen.

The apartment was in a great location, very close to Traunkirchen Ort train station and just across the road from the lake. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were very friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay here when we are in the area again.

Reviewed Jan 7, 2025The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!

One night a group of people who stayed in the apartment below did barbecue on the terrace and all the smell and smoke came into our apartment. I don’t know if those guys had their own barbecue or was provided by the host. Luckily it only happened one evening.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2024The apartment of Petra and Christian gave us a feeling of true home that we are missing so much. Cosy and comfortable, with lots of attention to small details. Highly recommended. We had everything we needed in the apartment. The best part of it was morning coffee on the balcony with the incredible view. Our son loved swimming in beautiful lake Traunsee and kayaking. This place is marvelous
The only big supermarket (Hofer) is located 30 min by walking. There is also a bus (once in 2 hours). But I wish we could rent a bicycle or motorbike to be independent in means of shopping. Small shop in Traunkirchen Ort has very limited options, unfortunately.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2024One of the nicest apartment stays we have ever had. Overall quality was astounding and Julia was a perfect host. Bedrooms were fantastic size with comfortable beds and pillows. Beautiful modern bathroom and shower. The kitchen and living area were very, very nice with all the little extras that you would hope to have such as pots, pans, coffee (with 3 different ways to make coffee!), salt, pepper, all types of cutlery and plates/bowls. And the location can't be beat. About 50m from the water, a little grass "beach" area, boat rentals, and a few little restaurants and bistros. Plus a mini-market also about 50m away. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. We would highly recommend!

Especially normal coffee machine and proper hairdryer got our points. ;) Communication before, during and after the travel was easy. The owners are very customer-oriented. The location is very good and the various hiking and other outdoor activities around the lake are easy to reach. We were traveling solely by train and everything was very convenient!
The only minus is that not all trains stop at Traunkirchen Ort stop, which makes the commuting to the nearby towns a bit more tricky. But even that is solved with good planning and willingness to get some extra steps in.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2023The apartment is amazing, familiar and great design, the small details and artistic character are great! The guest house is in the best location, shop, restaurant, bus stop nearby, you can also swim in the lake not far away. The staff and the owner are very kind, hospitality surrounds the whole place, I recommend it. We will definitely come back, even with the family.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2023Very spacious, clean, with all the facilities included (kitchen, bathroom, TV), very close to the beach area, to the restaurant, the bus stop and the ice cream place. The owners were very nice and always willing to help with all the requests we had.

Reviewed Jul 21, 20231-The location is perfect, close to the lake and other services- restaurants, store, etc. 2-Apartment was really clean and nice as well as the host is really friendly. 3-we rented 2 units, the big unit 3 bedroom was spacious and plenty space for everyone. Both apartments also fully equipped with everything that we needed during the stay. Our babies really enjoy wondering around in the apartment. 4-everyone really enjoy the stay and had really pleasant holiday specially the location for swimming just within 5 mins walk from the apartment
1-It was very warm day, air conditioner would help a lot specially at night. 2-the TV channel was all dubbed and unfortunately we can’t watch for the whole stay 3-the local church bell sounds every hours is very annoying specially after midnight :(

Reviewed Jul 31, 2022Traveling with disabilities and two children can be challenging but, being welcomed and taken care of at Loidl's is smooth sailing! Every detail counts: I found parking space and freezer for my medicines; furniture and accessories both in our apartment and in the building are top quality, location is the best to relax and enjoy Salzkammergut, food is exquisite and, on top of it, Petra's smile will enlight your vacation. We sincerely hope to go back in the future, we had an amazing time
