Beautiful and so quiet and relaxing to get away from the city. Will definitely come again.
Everything was perfect couldn't ask for more.
CABINS ARE COUSY. THE MOUNTANIOUS ENVIURONMENT IS ONE OF ITS KIND, VERY UNIQUE
THE AIRCON WAS NOT WORKING AND IT WAS COLD
The location is amazing
The weather did a number on us and we had no electricity to have heaters on to keep the cabin warm
The place was perfect just need solve hot water issue
The beds and bedding were so comfortable. And the view from our room was spectacular! Kitchen well equipped.
The rocky road needs some maintanance. But the cabin itself made up for the horrible road to get there
Good service

The nature and rhe surrounding, very peaceful place Great adventure one needs in life.. the sound of birds n comfortable room with the small kitchen located outside to appreciate the nature
The road to the place needs SUV or bakkie. No Kwit or polo allowed on the road as it is rough n rocky.

This was an awesome experience. What made it for me was the small detail like the shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower. Every little detail was clearly thought out to make my stay a breez. Would stay there anytime again and would highly recommend it to all travelling to Tzaneen.
The place is worth it
Nothing
It was clean and a very nice place to stay we enjoyed our stay there a lot
Very clean and neat. We always felt safe. The lady was very friendly. They also have a back up solar when electricity acts up. WiFi was solid. Close to Tzaneen as well.
Nothing to dislike about this place.
The units are very comfortable, clean and extremely peaceful. The hosts were friendly and met us on arrival. I would recommend this accommodation. Two things to be aware of is the 1.4km gravel road to reach the place (which was not a problem for us) and the fact that the turn off road to the lodge is on a corner of the main road and quite easily missed.
The signage for the turn off, although I understand the lodge is awaiting the various approvals required for the main road signage.
Bed was very comfortable. Perfectly stocked for self catering. Beautiful view and feels like you’re in nature
Shower temperature was difficult to keep warm
Very nice view and very private friendly staff nice layout on the way to Whispering Creek you will see river what a nice sound
The road was a little bit ruff lots of Rocks would recommend a bakkie for more confort.
Very neat and beautiful with and amazing view
A truly wonderful stay at Whispering Creek. The breathtaking mountain views are unforgettable, and the accommodation is neat, cosy, and beautifully maintained. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended – we can’t wait to return!
Just the calmness of nature
A lot, there was poor customer service, speed of service was terrible took time in responding to our needs, gas wasn't working properly... Neither were the batteries for hot water.... We were not attended to properly. They were not even friendly.
Loved the location. Easier accessible with a SUV than a car.
No dislikes
The entire facility was amazing. I loved the place!
The road was a bit hectic, but it was due to the weather and I drive a Kwid so it was a bit unpleasant. But overall it was an amazing experience
Everything about the place was perfect. I loved the tranquility
location is not but should have alerted us to use big car like bakkie. the road is not good for small cars.
a behaviour of the lady who received us. She was rude over the phone, forcing me to speed because she is closing the lodge
Absolutely great place to stay. Safe ; beautiful views. Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Ill def recommend
Nothing
The location is beautiful, private and quiet. Well stocked with everything a self catering unit should have to enable one to make a scrumptious meal.
There was nothing that we did not like.
The location is breathtaking. Rooms are beautiful and clean
Nothing its was perfect
Everything was amazing.
Nothing
Everything in the room and the scenery outside
The road to get there, especially when it's raining. But, it seems fair, and I dont think its possible to change the road.
The environment was exceptional , tranquil
The roads leading to the premises are not conducive
One needs a high rider (Bakkie/4x4) to access the place
Almost nothing.
The property was safe and had the most beautiful view.
Super friendly people and helpful with any requests.
THE VIEW,VERY QUITE
EVERYTHING WAS FINE
I needed a break so the privacy was nice.
The road needs maintenance , the bed was very uncomfortable, aircon was not working and water pressure in the shower kept on adjusting itself.
The nature. It's very cool, no mosquito 🦟
The distance from the tar road, is one way and uncomfortable. It needs 4×4 types of cars
Very cosy and well equipped Quiet Safe
The gas geyser was a nightmare to shower
It is peaceful and quiet
The venue in almost 2Km from the main road, it is a dirt road suitable for off road vehicles.
Everything
The cleanliness and the fact that it is far away from the road....all you can hear the whole night is the sound of the Waterfall nearby....so awesome.. the most peaceful place i have ever been.
The road is tricky during the rainy season and next time I will use my SUV. I will surely return.
Our host Simone was very attentive and accommodating and helped making sure all our needs were met.
The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The view is breathtaking. The place was clean and well equipped. You can see her love for the place in the detail.
Love everything!
The location is fantastic, you are well nestled in the forest and the only thing you hear is running water and the forest. The units are well equipped, and had everything we needed.
We got lost onto a different road which was extremely bad. It effectively took 2 hours out of our time to eventually get on the right track. The host is aware that there is an issue with Waze sending people out the wrong route, and I felt she could have been proactive and gave a warning to waze users so they don't find themselves in that mess - especially guests like us who traveled in a low car. The other issue was the fact it was so hot and the aircon was not working. Not sure of it was the humidity or maneuvering the lost trail in the peak of direct sunlight which caused us to feel hot, but the lack of air conditioning was I think I big health risk as we were sweating. I raised it with the host, who promptly provided us with a fan which was of great use. Again, I felt she could have been alot more proactive to have had the fan there. The idea was to always leave for dinner, we didn't stay much during the late afternoon so was unsure how long the heat persisted for. By the time we came back later that evening, it was alot cooler. For such a beautiful place, I am sad we could not experience it longer. Besides my criticism, I would advocate for a bigger signage as it is easy to miss the current one.
Scenery
Hot water not enough
Private, cabin had everything needed and in good working condition.
Road was little wet in rainy season, someone with small car may feel challenged.
It was a quaint log cabin with a great view of the valley. It had many amenities and was reasonably spacious. The check-in was easy enough, and the road was good enough to reach with a city car.
There are many pots and pans and other however a little cooking oil would have been nice as no one travels with cooking oil. There was damp on the ceiling.
Ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur, gemütliches Cottage, sehr gut ausgestattete Kitchenette, kostenloses WLAN.
Für die Anfahrt ist ein Auto mit Bodenfreiheit notwendig.
Everything
Beautiful location. Quiet
The space has been well planned. We loved the feeling of being in a forest. Each wooden chalet is a good distance away from the others, and we were not aware of other guests.
Nothing
Small and quite yet everything is there
Please don't change

The location
The dirt road is a challenge for small vehicles. I wouldn't want to travel that road at night
The place is quiet, unique, clean, friendly staff,
TV connection. Because u need to use ur details to watch Netflix and show max.
The lodge is situated in a very quiet location. Cottages are far apart which gives everyone enough privacy. The outside space for chilling was very great. If you love nature, Whispering Creek is the place to visit. Bed very comfortable. Hot showers. I felt home away from home. Staff very welcomming and friendly.
There is nothong i did not like.

The place is really nice and the host is 15/10 good at customer service. She made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. She attended to every request we had from our car getting stuck at the mud road to her extending our time stay
The roads were slippery but that was beyond anyone's control

The stuff and the facility it self
The gravel road
It’s a super cute little cabin in the mountains. The owner made sure we received a good description how to get there although we had booked on an extremely short note. The outdoor kitchen was very well equipped and a really nice surprise.
I personally think that a queen size bed shouldn’t be considered a double bed as it’s really too small for two adults, but it seems to be quite common in South Africa.
