Worst toilet I have seen. Nothing to do with the pics here online, just a hole for the water of the shower, on the same level of the rest of the toilet, of course the floor all soaked in water, every time you go to the toilet you get your feet wet Only one blanket, very small, I was cold all night. Everything is rundown, the toilet seat is old, the shower is old... I mean it is really basic stuff, you can get it renewed for the price of a one night stay. Very fancy/cozy bar just meters from this crap room in the same floor. Might as well not rent it. Or then renew it. Room 101 by the way.

1 forbedringsforslag: Mer benkeplass på badet til toalettsaker. Men: alle rommene er helt forskjellige, noe som også er sjarmen med hotellet.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Direkt an der Brücke ins Stadtzentrum gelegen nahe der Eismeerkathedrale und der Seilbahn mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Stadt. Hafen und Innenstadt/ historische Gebäude sind zu Fuß unkompliziert erreichbar.
Wenn das Restaurant offen hat ist die Parksituation etwas unübersichtlich und angespannt- unbedingt reservieren (und das hilft nicht immer )

Mye gammel søppel i beholdere på rommet.En lyspære på badet var defekt.Manglet også dusjsåpe ved ankomst.Når vi raporterte dette ved ankomst ble det kun levert dusjsåpe til oss. Ingen vask av rommet i de 3 dagene vi bodde der.Vi måtte også etterspørre og selv hente nye håndkle og ekstra toalettpapir.

Camera piccola, letto scomodo e guanciale molle e minuscolo, tenda doccia sporca e doccia che si allaga, pavimento linoleum sporco. La mia camera dava sul mare ma davanti aveva parcheggio. Nell' hotel è presente un caffè e sabato sera c' era via vai di clienti e a notte tarda un ubriaco che urlava per entrare. Pagando poco di piu si trova di meglio. La struttura sembra carina dalle foto ma non è certo un hotel "boutique". Ho trovato anche tracce di cibo sulla tappezzeria vecchia e macchiata, per non parlare di pezzetti di carta inseriti dove non c erano più chiodi sul muro. Mi dispiace non aver trovato nulla di positivo, ma è così. Un'esperienza pessima

Bei der Ankunft kaum, oder besser gesagt keine Parkmöglichkeiten. Beim einchecken wurde dann für die Nutzung eines Parkplatzes eine Gebühr von 150.- NOK verlangt. Diese zusätzlichen Kosten wurden zuvor niemals erwähnt. Für mich ist das nicht ok.

It was comfortable and quiet. We did not see another human at the property as the entry to the building and the room were just codes! Great block out curtains.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026Früstück OK. Die Seilbahn und die Eismeerkathedrale sind schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Blick aus dem Frontfenster.
Treppensteigen zur Suite im Dach. Man stößt sich leicht den Kopf an den Schrägen, aber der Raum ist groß genug, um aufrecht zu gehen. Der Raum lässt sich nicht richtig abdunkeln, was wegen der Mitternachtsonne unangenehm ist.

Handy for Arctic Cathedral and can walk across bridge to Tromso centre in 20 minutes. Thank you for providing a kettle and tea/coffee but the tea cups were very small!
The weather was unusually warm for early June and the room was uncomfortably hot, as it faced the afternoon/evening/midnight sun and there is no air conditioning. We were on the 3rd floor and the lift only goes up to the 2nd floor.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property I guess just be mindful that it is about 20mins from the center of town but that it was a lovely walk over the bridge

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026God beliggenhed for at være tæt på Fjellheisen og Ishavskatedralen, med blik over Tromsøya. Hotellet har en Restaurant/Café, som er meget hyggeligt indrettet og Ren-burgeren kan varmt anbefales. Værelset var beskedent men adækvat og pænt indrettet. (Et billede eller to på væggen kunne have løftet indretningen).
Rengøring: Kommode var snavset indvendigt da jeg kom, så jeg kunne ikke pakke ud. Lagde en seddel til rengøringen næste dag, men den eneste dag, der kom en til at gøre rent, var den sidste dag (havde 5 overnatninger). Fik delvis rengøring en aften, da jeg henvendte mig til vagthavende personale, som iøvrigt var venligt, forstående og imødekommende. Sidste dag henvendte jeg mig til personale, som identificerede sig som manager, på grund af den manglende rengøring. Hendes svar var: No. no. Hvorefter hun prøvede at identificere hvad JEG havde gjort forkert i forhold til deres rutiner (intet, viser det sig). Der udviklede sig en længere diskussion, som jeg til sidst gik fra, temmelig rystet. Jeg kommer IKKE til at overnatte på dette hotel igen.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026Wir waren schon zum 2. Mal in der Villa Havblikk. Die Ausgangslage war für uns ideal aufgrund der fußläufigen Nähe zur Fjellheisen-Station, Eiskathedrale, Bushaltestelle und einer Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Das Zimmer war ideal ausgestattet und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel ist im typischen norwegischen Stil erbaut und hat einen wunderbaren charme. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Taxitransfer zum Flughafen nachts hat auch wunderbar geklappt.

Jag bodde i ett litet enkelrum. Det var helt ok men det känns som att ägaren hade lagt mycket pengar på att inreda restaurangen och det var inga pengar över för enkelrummen.

Uncomfortable mattress. Furniture was in places scratched and was not resembing that in the picture. Bathroom really tiny. This single room should have been refurbished. I wonder how many years ago. There is little interaction with staff. Check-in is self-service, which make things a bit impersonal. I didn't feel welcome even at breakfast time, the day after arrival, when finally I saw a member of the staff, who told me how much they would have charged me before anything else, including telling me what I could have.
