Reviewed Aug 29, 2026The location was perfect, close to the beach and shopping centers. It was quiet at night and easy to get in and out. Also, the equipment in the kitchen was amazing, there was even a small oven to bake up buns for breakfast in the morning. Everything was high standard.
The only thing we would improve would be the Wi-Fi; we had problem every evening when trying to watch TV, the Smart TV was buffering, and the TV program stopped every couple of minutes, but not every day, so I think it had something to do with Wi-Fi connection.

Reviewed May 21, 2026It was just a one-minute walk from the bus stop—a wonderfully pleasant surprise. Upon entering, we were delighted to find an immaculate living area. The bedroom also impressed us, feeling spacious and inviting. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, complete with a perfect shower. The apartment had absolutely everything we needed for our eight-night stay.
That we had to leave after 8 days.

Not a complaint but if you wanted a sleep in it would be difficult as it’s right next door to primary school, quite noisy between 7.45-9am

The hosts were very friendly and informative and kept us topped up with home made gelato. We would definitely recommend Papamoa Beach Cottage.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025The cottage has been decorated with taste and thoughtfulness. It was impeccably clean and very well equipped. The hosts were discrete, but warmly welcoming and responsive to any query.
The allocated parking is at the top of a ramp that needs to be negotiated with care, but there is parking available just in front of the property.
