Stay Ccassette Player

Great place not far from Mokpo station. The decor Was great, I later came to understand the hotel’s cassette and vinyls theme after visiting Mokpo music museum and learning about the rich musical history of this small city. The room was very comfortable, clean and most importantly air conditioned. I visited during the hot summer months so this was great. I would recommend staying here. It’s a bang for your buck and well worth it.

Can’t think of anything

What a good surprise, this quirky and stylish hostel. Great decoration, with books and beautiful furniture; a small room with a radio playing different kinds of music; a great terrace with a good view of old Mokpo; and rooms that, despite being small, are comfortable. The atmosphere is unexpected and cosy, the kitchen is well equipped, and the free coffee feels great for breakfast. Everything is spotless and the location is perfect to walk around old Mokpo and enjoy the local good food.

The bathroom, despite being recently renovated, kept the old window, which did not look very nice.

Superbe endroit, plein de poésie, parfaitement situé. La pièce aux cassettes est idéale pour se détendre. Propriétaire gentil et réactif. J'aurais mis 9 ou 10 sans hésiter s'il y avait eu des rideaux.

Pas de rideaux ni de store !? Du coup il fait extrêmement lumineux très tôt, et j'ai très mal dormi. A éviter d'autant plus si vous êtes en décalage horaire. Accessoirement, il n'y aucun espace de rangement dans la chambre, ce qui est un peu contraignant.

Super relaxing and quiet stay. Had a really good time, the space is really curated and has a lot of charm. Definitely I would raccomend Stay Ccassette Player if you pass by Mokpo. Wished we stayed more than just 1 night.

De locatie en originaliteit. Erg grappig de kamer met de cassettebandjes. Het keukentje. Leuk bedacht.

Geen persoonlijk ontvangst alles via de app. Code entree code kamer. Heel vreemd voor zo'n type guesthouse. Wij hadden kamer 105 en douche is heel laag als je langer bent dan 175cm kun je niet douchen. Plafond zat ook met zwarte schimmel. De eerste nacht waren wij de enige gasten in een leeg hotel dat voelde wat onaangenaam. De schoonmaak kan beter alles kan wel een goede poetsbeurt gebruiken. Wij zagen in de keuken pakken natte doekjes. Dat is geen schoonmaken maar beetje snel cosmetisch schoonmaken.

I guess I get what I pay for... It was not very expensive, and the place was definitely fresh. But...

Room was just a bed and a wooden raised floor, Korean style. Not particluarly convenient. Then again it was only one night. Very strange, there were no sheets in the bed. Do they wash the blanktet and all? Pillow was tiny, and againt I got the feeling that the linen was missing.

Probably the coolest place we’ve ever stayed. The retro theme is used throughout the hotel. The owner also sends a very helpful list of recommended restaurants, bars, and things to do.

The atmosphere was really good and nostalgic. Roof top of the house is a fun place to hang out and enjoy the weather. Cleanliness and organization in the guesthouse are really good The cassate player room has a great mood to it

The rooms are not perfectly soundproof

Stay Ccassette has a lovely boutique atmosphere for a small hotel and is associated with an awesome vegetarian restaurant.

Would have appreciated a clothes dryer, we were able to use the washing machine, but had to dry clothes in our room. Manager did offer a spare room for drying space.

I want to highlight a warm vibe of this place. Building and rooms are not large but very clean and comfortable. The host is a very friendly and helpful person who can always provide all the necessary support. The location near the train station makes this place perfect for traveling.

So clean and cute, decorated so well. It was very homey and cozy ^^ There are rules; no eating in the room or wearing shoes upstairs, might be controversial, but it made the place feel extra clean. “Check-in” is super convenient
