Geräumige Ferienwohnung mit sehr guter Ausstattung, insbes. für Paare gut geeignet. Eigener Auto-Abstellplatz nahebei. Nette, hilfsbereite und unkomplizierte Vermieter. Telefonischer und direkter Kontakt gut möglich. Ruhige Lage.

Im konkreten Zeitraum teilweise Baulärm, der für die Lage allerdings nicht typisch ist.

Beliggenheten var perfekt i et koselig og rolig strøk. Kort vei til badeplass, 10 min å gå inn til sentrum, der vi hadde god frokost. Fikk anbefaling av vert å gå til Fürberg, der vi hadde en godt lunsj. Fin gåtur langs Wolfgangsee.

To be totally honest, the room was very cute and had good location despite being kind of dusty.

I can't PROVE that it was racial discrimination, but I felt like the owner was racist and I had been racially discriminated against. When I arrived she apologized to me that my room was not ready because and INDIAN family stayed in the room and they left late. I didn't see the host again until it was the day for me to leave. Check out is at 11 but at 9 already someone was knocking on my door while I was sleeping. Then at 10:45am the owner used a key to unlock my room while I was totally naked and had just gotten out of the shower to ask me if I was aware that I had to leave that day. I said yes to which she replied "Well then hurry up!" I don't appreciate being spoken to in a condescending manner and coming into my room like that is totally unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

There were a few things that did not fully meet our expectations, and we have already shared our feedback with Booking.com regarding those points. However, overall, the property owners were very kind, caring, and responsive. The place is comfortable and works well, especially for individuals or couples.

Excellent and beautiful location - the lake is a minutes walk away with incredible views! Also easy walking and cycling routes from the property. Very homely and had all amenities needed. Bikes also available to use for free and Christa was extremely helpful during our stay.

Die beste Lage für Wanderungen, direkt am See. Wir haben kein Auto gebraucht, weil alles zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Das Zimmer ist klein aber fein, genau richtig für ein verlängertes Wochenende.

Stimmungsvoll gemütlich tolle Lage

Wonderful location and hosts were full of information from the area. Communication was good too, especially making sure we knew we booked a room in the attic and the size of the room. It was fine for what my husband and I needed, and the kitchen was very well equipped considering the size. Covered parking was a nice bonus.

There was a bit of an issue with the heat when we were there. We were prepared for this so we put on extra layers instead of complaining about it and we were fine.

Wonderful old fashioned comfortable Austrian guesthouse across the street from a swimming lake.

Cash payment required was a surprise to us. However, you can direct wire from your back for free. So ultimately no problem.

Great location in St Gilgen, 5-10min walk into town, but still nice and quiet. Walked to the ferry to visit St Wolfgang and easy to drive to visit other locations in the area. Great parking. The host was very friendly & helpful. Tip: There is a washing machine & dryer available, but it did cost 3€ per wash.

Only hicup we had was that we had to pay with cash, even though bookings.com said Credit cards were accepted.

Wonderful and spacious flat with outstanding views of the lake and montains. The location is great to explore the area, whether locally by foot (including dipping in the lake) or by car. The owners are just lovely.

Everything was perfect! Loveliest spot that’s centrally located with lots to do right outside your door. It is the cutest property, so clean and so cozy. The hosts are absolutely lovely people- kind, helpful, and readily available. My only complaint is that I didn’t book this spot for longer during my trip, because this was my favorite place I stayed throughout my time in Austria!

Super cute interior design that has charm, character, and reflects the local culture. Nice outdoor area with dining table and green plot. Super friendly hosts that are warm and accept you like friends.

Very clean and nicely made apartment, it felt like being in a beautiful Austrian cottage. We had no lake view but the lake was a minute walk and the center of town was also very close. There is also easy parking. I wanted to show my wife Salzburg but the accomodation there was double the price. We decided to stay here and take bus to Salzburg. But St Gilgen and the neighbooring villages (linked by cruise boat) are less crowdy, more beautiful with fewer tourists. Halstatt is also 30 minutes from there

I came with a friend to end my trip in a chill place and it was a grate choice. The hosts were extremely nice and kind. As we got St Gilgen by as bus from Salzburg, I gave a call and they came to pick us althouth is was a late night hour. In the morning we got 2 bikes to ride around the Wolfgang lake for free. Everything was calm, clean and beautiful, including a small, well-equipped kitchen (and a coffee machine) and a bath room in our private room. There was a notebook that explains the main and important things to know about the place and relevant servises... really amazing :) It was also very nice to talk with the hosts and get some information and maps about the potential attractions in the area. Thx for the great time!

Our room was an apartment in attic of old, nice house. It had all necessary facilities, clean bathroom etc. Good and quiet location, free parking, 1min walk from the lake, 2min walk to Portofino restaurant (recommended), and 6min walk to the town center. Тhe main attractive feature is the room's special character. The host decorated it with a great taste and love. A charming old, Austrian, country style. Old photos, old hat on the wall, lovely tablecloth, and so on. It's like living in 19th century place (but with all modern things you need). We loved it very-very much!

Everything! Thank you to Mr & Mrs Freidrich for an amazing stay. Amazing hosts, perfect location, excellent room, very clean and tidy. The host even let us hire bikes free of charge which made seeing St Gilgen and surrounding areas so much easier. A visit we will never forget and hope to be back one day!
