I was disappointed with the room. A small heater was provided that could not make a difference to the warmth of the room. What was worse was there was no hot water to bath of all the things.

Breakfast was of a low standard. There are no cereal and fruits. There were no tea and coffee in the room The shower is not appealing. No soap, no shower caps. The toilet seat is not stable.

The rooms are not clean, there is mold on the bathroom walls. I was with my infant and she ended up with a cold after that weekend. Facility definitely needs maintaining

Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I did notice that some of the furniture in my unit was worn and could use an update or repair. Additionally, the kitchen facilities felt a bit sparse as there were no complementary hot beverage supplies. Just the kettle.

The outside light didnt work, tv functionality was very limited not much to watch, on our last day there was no hot water unfortunately.

Reviewed May 11, 2026The location of the place is great, its next to the Vaal River and in a very secure upmarket golf estate.
Our stay was unfortunately below expectations across several areas. From arrival, the reception we received lacked warmth and professionalism, which set the tone for the rest of the visit. The room itself showed clear signs of neglect, with dated and in some cases broken fixtures. Basic amenities were insufficient - there was no tea or coffee provided, and the kitchenware was incomplete, with not enough cutlery and plates available for use. Housekeeping standards also need improvement, as the beds were poorly made and linens, particularly pillowcases, were not properly fitted. Comfort was further impacted by the lack of air conditioning. While we were informed of underfloor heating, we were unable to operate it, leaving the room very cold. Breakfast was a particular disappointment. While edible - the quality and presentation were well below standard, to the extent that we chose to skip it entirely on the second day. Overall, the experience gave the impression of ongoing cost-cutting measures, which are clearly affecting both the quality of the facilities and the level of service provided. With attention to maintenance, staff training and basic guest provisioning, the property has potential - but in its current state, it falls well short of expectations.
