Facility clean and just what we needed.

I think receptionist needs some training on hospitality and being professional to guests.

We had to make a last minute booking, and the guesthouse was able to help. Overall our stay was amazing. Really great team looking after the property. Rooms are big and spacious, water pressure is amazing, breakfast is good and speedily prepared. A hidden gem

The Wifi kept dropping and would appreciate two towels especially in winter months so that you can shower before bed and the morning before work without having to reuse the wet towel. The TV could be upgraded so that you can stream your tv shows vs. being forced to watch boring DSTV reruns.

Fruit salad and bed was comfortable.

No vegetarian option. No wake up call.

Friendly, professional staff. Excellent service. Beautiful lodge. Looking forward to our next visit.

I came to aark Lodge as my dad became very unwell and spent two and a half weeks there as was visitingfrom the UK. The service and rooms were excellent and they were all very helpful. The breakfasts were very good and the evening meals were delicious home cooked meals. I felt very safe and secure and the tropical feel was very calming. I would definitely recommend Aark guest Lodge to anyone and give it a big thumbs up.

The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the noise easily.

Facility is beautiful.

Bed at Room 5 was so uncomfortable and my body became so painful. Also the Airconditioner is not heating in that winter cold weather 🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️

It took 30 min to get hold of the office for check ins there was no.one at the reception and network coverage did not make things easier.

Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was immaculate.

Coffee at breakfast was quite weak.

They gave us little optios to choose from. It was raining the Staff was moving in and out with food they became cold. We waited for our food. If they wake up early and prepare and serve inside it will be better

The place is safe and beautiful

The gardens are lovely and the pool is clean, buildings in face brick and wood look very aesthetically pleasing. Average breakfast was included.

Dismal check-in. Waiting calling and phoning 3 different numbers 4 times each and ringing the bell at least 6 times before a lone woman appeared 35 minutes later to check us in. She says she was alone on the property and in the laundry room. But the property is graded 4 star, go figure that out ? Room had not been aired and was musty, fridge was not on and no guest water in fridge and no ice tray or any ice available, until the third time I asked and ice magically appeared Coffee tasted like Ricoffy and only powdered milk Toilet seat broken My partener had a cold shower the evening Curtain hanging off its rail Safe with no key to access Plastic stoep furniture with dirty ashtray Very dark room and poor lighting Groundsman took his tea break on his phone watching a soccer match on full volume at the guest area by the pool Braai and fire pit never been cleaned and broken glass and weeds on the paving by the pool One of the Angolan guests had his radio on full blast from the early hours of the morning until he left just after 6am THIS IS JUST NOT 4 STAR ! We moved to a 3 star up the road and received more than 4 star welcome and stay, even though we lost 2 nights paid accommodation at AARK Guest Lodge

Great stay! They also made us a lovely vegan breakfast on request.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the guest lodge! Celebrating our 5 years anniversary. The staff were friendly, A very warm welcome from the receptionist. Our waitress sis Lucas - eversmilling very best customer service and sis Alleta, the rooms were cozy and clean, the atmosphere was relaxing. The location was also perfect. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway! Looking forward to coming back again soon!

The atmosphere and tranquility out site and location. The place is beautiful.

the inside is outdated and old school. our room especially the bathroom was not soo clean you could see spider web from the wall separating the bathroom and the bedroom. They could have closed the bathroom completely especially for a big room like that. Fridge is very small for a four people bedroom. Variety in the food section could be the best. I don't eat eggs and i did not have variety of food to choose from. Same yogurt for two days, same breakfast for two days.

Had a pleasant experience at the Aark Guesthouse. Aletta at the front desk was so accommodating and helpful. Really had a great experience from the moment we checked in to the moment we left.

Great place, beutiful and quiet. Been there many weeks during the years. Only thing what needs to be improved is coffee. That light brown substance is not coffee...

The room was spacious, and stylish.. and comfortable. It was tranquil. If they had room service, it would have been literally a heavenly stay lol.. it was awesome, honestly.

Room had a foul smell, stains on sink, breakfast was terrible asked for an omelette with cheese and tomato filling, got an omelette with avocado. The garden was beautiful and a breath of fresh

Enjoyable stay in a neat and tidy room. The staff are friendly and helpful. Attending to your every need. The home cooked meals smells divine and next time I will make sure that I book a meal. The garden is so beautiful and the bonsai trees are a very attractive feature.

Nice place and good location but do not take breakfast if you want to be in time after breakfast. First come, first served principle should be followed but when we arrived first we were served last after 1 hour and 20 minutes waiting.No apologies, no explanations, no coffee...

Op de doorreis van Krugerpark naar Bloemfontein een eenvoudige tussenstop gemaakt bij Aark Guest Lodge. Diner op t laatste moment mogelijk; dagmenu. Ontbijt ook prima. Kamer maakt een erg gedateerde indruk, maar nog steeds goed genoeg voor een doorreis overnachting

The theme is attractive and well developed. Management needs to remember that customers are paying to stay at the hotel. A less strict approach will serve them well.

This was the best South Africa guest house we have stayed in. The staff was superb, the food was outstanding, and the room was phenomenal...excellent experience! Thank you!
