Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Fantastic location, we caught the ferry to arrive in Vevey and could clearly see the hotel as we came into port. It was also just a few minutes from the train station for going home. There is a great bar and restaurant attached and lots around about to. Close to handy bus stops as well. The room was huge and had a seating area and a large balcony which was ideal for sitting watching the world go by and taking in the breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The host and staff were warm and welcoming and always happy to help.
The bathroom was fine, for the size of the room it could perhaps have been slightly bigger with a bigger shower cubicle. However, I have been in worse and it was a minor inconvenience. There was only a wardrobe and I would have liked a small chest of drawers, but again a minor inconvenience. Overall there was more to like than dislike.

Preis vernünftig, gute Alternative zum weit teuereren Montreux oder Lausanne

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Central location right by the lake and near station. Very pleasant staff, good breakfast. Nice large room, comfortable bed, good shower. Our flight was very delayed and we arrived after 1am. Manager went out of his way to help us check in after reception had closed which we really appreciated.
A lot of noise from the square outside, loud music and shouting at weekend. We understand this is not the hotel's fault but we didn't sleep well because of it.

Die vielen Treppen zum hochsteigen. Die Zimmer auf die hintere Seite bieten keine Aussicht und sind klein.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Localizare foarte buna, in Piata Mare. Camera spatioasa, cu baie mare, si cada. Am mai stat acolo anul trecut, și dacă mai ajung vreodată în Vevey aș sta din nou acolo.
Trebuie sa protestam cat mai multi impotriva orarului de check-in (16:00) si check-out (10:30): este nejustificat, frustrant si abuziv pentru acest fel de cazare. A existat totusi flexibilitate, pentru check-in la ora 14:00, dar confirmat prea tarziu ca sa il mai folosesc. Nu are frigider. Ventilator anemic. Becul emite caldura foarte puternic, ar trebui înlocuit cu unul LED.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Die Lage fast am See und nah der Altstatt. Und die Ruhe in der Nacht, man konnte Fenster und Läden ganz offen halten zum Schlafen.
Unser Zimmer hatte ein sehr kleines Badezimmer mit einer noch kleineren Dusche, die überdies gelinde gesagt bezüglich Sauberkeit etwas vernachlässigt war. Zudem kam beim Lavabo nur sehr wenig kaltes Wasser.

Bruyant jusqu’à la fermeture des établissements, ce qui est toutefois normal en été en plein centre ville, les bouchons d’oreille sont vivement conseillés !

Je suis arrivé dans une chambre où la prise près du lit ne fonctionnait qu'avec le plafonnier allumé ! Très gênant, surtout quand on a une machine anti-apnée à brancher pour la nuit. La solution ? Une rallonge traversant toute la chambre depuis la porte d'entrée. Merci pour la “réparation” mais un petit geste commercial aurait été appréciable. Comme je suis tombé sur un cafetière à capsule qui les écrasait et qu'on ma généreusement offert un expresso au restaurant. Sourire quand même

1) Required carrying luggage up or down seven flights of stairs. 2) There is no bathroom door for privacy! 3) Worst of all, there is no air conditioning or control. The room was oven-hot and unhealthy and unsleepable. 4. No refund was offered for the unused remaining two days, even though we had no choice but to find somewhere tenable.

Room was dated, shower was tiny with no proper hot/cold water & bed wasn’t comfortable. There’s construction ongoing in front of building - noise & dust. Very hot, no proper fans or air con. Request for refurbished rooms if you stay. No elevator, be prepared to walk up stairs but staff can help with luggage.

Pulizia scarsa e approssimativa. Soprattutto non funzionava l’apparecchio per il ricambio aria. Notte insonne a causa della mancanza d’aria condizionata e de ventilatore presente: vecchio modello da casa rumoroso e decisamente insufficiente per sopravvivere in estate. Sconsiglio quindi vivamente questo albergo per l’estate.

La chambre était comme une chambre de bonne Minuscule, sans mini frigo, wc tout taché! Il faisait 38 degrés j’ai passé une nuit blanche. Lit pour adolescent Prix exorbitant pour cette mini chambrée Une honte Pas de parking privé. Aucune place autour et je me suis pris une amande juste le temps d’aller chercher les clefs de la chambre et de ressortir

Unfortunately the heat this weekend was unprecedented and the rooms were so hot I couldn’t sleep. This is not the hotels fault at all, but perhaps with the climate changes we are experiencing an update to include air conditioning would be beneficial. Some updated sockets with USB and USBc sockets would be helpful too.

Qualidade do atendimento fica a desejar. O prédio de arquitetura antiga é todo adaptado, de forma que não existe uma recepção para o hotel. A entrada/saída dos cômodos é feita por dentro do restaurante ou em porta lateral do prédio. De noite é muito barulhento.

Als wir ankamen, wusste niemand richtig Bescheid über die Buchung. Ebenfalls wurde nicht kommuniziert, dass das Frühstück nicht im Preis inbegriffen ist, dies haben wir dann erst erfahren, als aus checkten.

Nun - Der Umbau des Vorplatzes - dauert nun noch einige Monate nehme ich an? Aber man kann damit Leben. PS: Booking com. An Sie: ——- Es ist etwas kompliziert - Fotos auszuwählen? Reviewed Apr 28, 2026The location was really great, right next to the lake with a beautiful view. Also this part of town (old town) is very quiet at night, no noise. The staff was friendly and nice too.
Unfortunately the hotel is very old and nothing like the pictures. The room was tiny, old, and walls like paper, you could hear other guests coughing. It was more or less clean, however the bedding had holes, the power outlet was unusable and the toilet was full of urine stone, had seen better times for sure.
