L'accueil se fait uniquement par téléphone (réactif) et pas d'accueil ou réception physique. - pas d'air conditionné, et juste un petit ventilateur, insuffisant le pris est un peu surfait par rapport à ce qui est proposé

It was very noisy on Saturday night. It was hot, so we had to open the window. We couldn't sleep because of the noise.

The room was too hot. There was a fan but it wasn’t good enough to cool the room.

Chambre très agréable et grande salle de bain, emplacement très pratique, à 2 pas du lac, dans une charmante petite ruelle. Communication très facile et très agréable avec l'établissement.

Quelques petits détails pour améliorer le confort mais déjà transmis et pris en compte par l'établissement qui a à cœur la satisfaction des clients.

The location was excellent, and the room was spacious. The bed was comfortable, and we had a nice view of Lake Geneva.

The room was extremely hot because of the hot weather, and the fact that the windows faced west. The fan functioned poorly.

Al no haber recepción, la comunicación ante cualquier problema hay que hacerla por mail o whatsapp, lo que despersonaliza y atrasa mucho la posible solución al problema. No cuentan con aire acondicionado y esto es un handicap importante en verano ya que ni suiza se salva hoy en día de las olas de calor extremo. Había un ventilador de escasa potencia así que tuvimos que dormir todas las noches con las ventanas abiertas

Devoir monter 3 étages, difficulté de déplacement pour moi et ma femme 4 fois les 3 étages (4 valises)… pas de personnel. Le chauffeur de taxi a du téléphoner pour qu’on nous ouvre la porte.

Logement très bien situé, à proximité du lac, avec la possibilité de se garer à proximité pour 8 € en demandant une carte valable 24h, ce qui est pratique.

En revanche, le rapport qualité/prix est assez décevant : le tarif nous semble trop élevé au regard des prestations proposées. La chambre manquait de propreté à notre arrivée, avec notamment de nombreux poils présents dans la salle de bain. Le ventilateur mis à disposition est appréciable en période de forte chaleur, mais il souffle malheureusement très peu d’air. Ce qui ne servait pas à grand chose. Le logement mériterait également un bon rafraîchissement : rideau sale, plinthe qui se décolle… Plusieurs petits détails qui donnent une impression d’entretien insuffisant. En résumé, l’emplacement est un véritable atout, mais au vu du prix, nous nous attendions à un logement plus propre et mieux entretenu. Petit plus à souligner, c’est que le logement accepte les chiens.

La ubicación al lado del lago. Posibilidad de aparcar en un parking al lado por 8CHF que nos lo gestionó el propietario. Era muy amplio y con varios ventiladores que ayudaron a soportar el calor

Large room, close to the lake.

No A/C, Room was unbearably hot. Very weak fan supplied after we asked for it. Broken light in bathroom which meant basically very little light and was told they couldn't fix it. Broken toilet seat which was fixed after we reported it.

It’s an old listed building so no aircon. During a particularly hot period it was uncomfortable. However the host was accommodating and gave us a huge fan

The location was excellent, the accommodation was spotless clean and the host was very responsive.

Unfortunately we were there during a heatwave and even with a large fan running the room was uncomfortably hot. There is nothing that could be done to change this.

Az apartman kialakítása, főleg a tetőtéri szoba.

Kifogtuk a legmelegebb időt és a legkellemetlenebb az egészben, hogy nincs klímával felszerelve az apartman, igy gyakorlatilag szinte semmit nem aludtam. Hiába volt gyengécske ventillátor, hiába próbáltunk kereszthuzatot csinálni, egyik sem ért semmit! Az erkélyen volt csak kellemes, de ott nem lehet aludni. Nehéz volt megtalálni a szálláshelyet, mert konkrétan egy kicsi névtáblán kívül semmi sem jelzi, hogy az ott egy appartmanház vagy akármi hasonló lenne. Személyzet ugye nincs. Fel van adva a lecke, mint egy reality kalandtúrán. Egyébként az elhelyezkedése jó. A központban van, de sajna ezzel is volt egy kisebb problémám, az hogy épp szemben zajlik egy építkezés, de erről nyilván nem tehetnek. Egyszerűen csak pech. Viszonylag tisztaság volt, a berendezés egyszerű, de a tetőtéri szoba nagyon hangulatos.

Brilliant central location for exploring Vevey and the lakeshore. Fan was much appreciated in the heat. Clear instructions made the room easy to find. Bed was big and comfy, fridge in the room was a great addition. Lake view as advertised was mostly obscured by trees - you could see a tiny bit of the water. Guess you'd get a better view in winter.

Plugs were awkwardly placed for trying to use kettle/ charge phones etc and some didn't work. Could do with hooks/ rail for hanging towels. Wifi kept dropping in and out.

Location is perfect! The lake view is so nice! The beach and port is very close to the apartment. Veve is a very pretty small town. There are many restaurants, cafes and places to sit right near the apartment. The room is big enough for convenient living. Parking is near on the square, but only till 8 am, which is not really convenient, if you like to sleep in the morning.

There is no AC!!! The temperature was near +40 , the apartment is under the roof, the fan was not very helpful.

La proximité avec le lac, les animations, restaurant….. Un des rares établissements avec si bien qui accepte les chiens. Le duplex était très propre et bien équipé

Tout était parfait peut être juste les escaliers mais ça personne ne peut rien faire.

Clean rooms, great location, comfy bed, quiet. I also like the way the hotel check in process is set up, that is, entirely online. Great for 1-2 night stay in Vevey.

Leider eine sehr laute und große Baustelle direkt vor der Türe über die wir nicht informiert wurden. Unangenehmer chloriger Geruch im Haus und sehr heiße Zimmer ( es gab keine Klimaanlage)

There is a great deal of construction going on in the square just outside of the hotel. It made it quite noisy and dusty during the day.

No AC - it was sooo hot and uncomfortable at night. Leaving the windows open at night left us susceptible to mosquitoes- loud passerby’s and night/morning and construction work going on. Thin walls - we heard upstairs walking till 1am- and all conversations on the stairway- and there is no lift. We ran out of TP later in the afternoon and were told we could not get replacement till the next morning- bc no staff on sight to help with anything after mid afternoon - won’t stay here again

La cama fue, sin duda, lo mejor de la estancia: muy cómoda y perfecta para un buen descanso. Además, el baño era amplio, moderno y muy confortable.

No hubo nada importante que no me gustara. La habitación estaba muy bien y la cama era especialmente cómoda para descansar. Como aspecto mejorable, el aislamiento acústico podría ser mejor, ya que los ruidos se escuchaban con bastante facilidad. Además, aunque el baño era muy grande y amplio, eché en falta algunos pequeños detalles, como disponer de dos vasos o copas para poder tomar una bebida en la habitación.

La situation de l'établissement (proche de la place du marché, des restaurants et du lac) et à environ dix minutes de la gare. Le calme également. Nous avions une chambre située au troisième étage, accessible uniquement par un escalier (ce qui peut être un inconvénient selon la mobilité du client).

Par grandes chaleurs (ce qui était le cas durant notre séjour), le ventilateur est nettement insuffisant. Cela malgré l'ouverture complète des deux fenêtres, laquelle amenait un peu d'air frais.

Es wäre fair gewesen, über die ab 7.00 Uhr sehr laute Baustelle direkt vor dem Fenster vorab informiert worden zu sein!!! Wir hätten uns eine andere Unterkunft gesucht. Der Marktplatz wird neu gemacht. Es war nicht auszuhalten…

Easy booking and communication with host. The room was very clean. Excellent location, 6 min walk from the train station. I would come back when the temperatures are cooler.

Missing floor towel in the bathroom. It was very hot and there is no AC in the building, but there was a very big fan so that helped a bit. As written elsewhere, the bed is high and there is no lift so that’s not appropriate for people with mobility issues.

Very clean tidy solid room - lots of space and a huge double bed. Great to have the view and the tea making facilities with a fridge. Great system for entry into the guest house - all safe and very efficient. Great location right in the centre of town. Highly recommend.

It was during the heatwave but the room was warm. Nothing much can be done about that.

Hôtel très bien situé, à côté du centre ville et du bord du lac. Rue calme et chambre assez grande et agréable.

L'arrivée en voiture...la petite rue dans laquelle se situe l'hôtel n'est pas praticable en voiture mais ce n'est pas indiqué. Notre GPS nous a trouvé une solution alternative qui nous a mené droit sur un escalier non signalé....nous avons dû faire intervenir une dépanneuse (500 CHF!!!) pour dégager la voiture coincée sur les marches! Les riverains nous ont dit que c'était la 3ième fois cette année. Donc, sur le site de Booking, il faut absolument indiqué que la rue n'est pas accessible en voiture et qu'il faut garer celle-ci sur la Grand-place!

Guest House Le Charlot is very conveniently located, close to the train station and a variety of restaurants, and it offers a beautiful view of the lake. The room size was great for two people and included all the main necessities.

Although the room had the main necessities, many of them were in poor condition. The fan was falling apart, the fridge kept leaking water, and the bathroom bin was rusted. Additionally, we could not use the overhead shower or the handheld one separately, as both ran at the same time. I’m not sure why these relatively low-cost improvements have not yet been addressed.

Es war extrem heiss im Zimmer! Für die heissen Sommermonate ist diese Lokalität absolut nicht geeignet! Die Fenster waren von aussen nicht beschattet - eine Zumutung! Da hilft auch ein Ventilator nichts mehr. Schade und v.a. ärgerlich

la chambre est vraiment charmante et très bien équipée. Un ventilateur facilitait la vie en cette période de canicule. Les chambres qui donnent sur le jardin sont plus au calme et sont à l'ombre.

La salle de bain pourrait être un peu plus accueillante et décorée. Un petit meuble pour y poser des affaires serait le bienvenu.

This was a great stay. The apartment is just 50 meters from main piazza and 50 meters from Lake Geneva. The staff were very responsive to our enquiry at all times. It was very hot during our stay and the lack of air conditioning was the only disappointment- but understand this could be an unusual circumstance Would certainly book this place again

Bed and sink in bathroom

The room was very large with views from both windows across the market square to the lake. The bed was very comfortable and both the bedroom and ensuite shower were very clean, The location is great as it is right toward the lakefront and was only 6/7 minute walk from the train station. The old town and a great range of cafes and places to eat are on the doorstep.

Not the fault of Le Charlot, but the square is being updated and improved and the workers do begin early! Work is expected to last for quite a while yet, so if you are a light sleeper, a room toward the back may work better

Propre et bien agencé, grande salle de bain, check-in sans contact, TV moderne.

Température très élevée durant mon séjour, ventilateur sur place mais insuffisant (isolation ou Clim nécessaire dans cette situation). La bouilloire et insalubre, il faut la changer.

L'emplacement est très bon, le service est fonctionnel

Isolation entre les étages très faible et bruits de talons assez tard dans la nuit dans la chambre supérieure. Chaleur importante dans la ville, la nuit sans climatisation a été supportable mais un peu chaude quand même. Aucun contact humain, c'est toujours un peu dommage de ne pas rencontrer les hôtes.
