It was, as described, very quirky, but all the essentials were there.

Host was very friendly & welcoming. Beautiful spacious room & very comfortable. Bathroom & kitchen facilities were good.

Initial friendly welcome, big space, clear entry instructions and fresh feeling bedding.

Commotion in the night from 1-3am, man shouting and smoking in the hallway, no response to message sent to host at that time even though they were aware of what was going on. Still no response to message of concern, did not see host in the morning either. Asked to remove shoes but after walking around in socks they were dirty and caked in hair. Wouldn't stay again.

Queuing for the bathroom was a bit tricky.

Primarily someone’s home so you are sharing a house with the owner. I don’t think that 1 shower and bathroom is adequate for the amount of rooms that are there and that the existing bathroom is not fit for purpose.

Debbie the host was lovely. Friendly and very helpful, made us feel right at home. Great value for money. Comfortable bed and everything was clean and tidy. Free clothes and book bins a great idea.

The steps without a rail were a bit difficult.

Leider war es nicht besonders sauber, teils dreckig. Wir waren froh, nur eine Nacht gebucht zu haben und das passiert uns selten. Zudem gab es nur eine Toilette und eine Dusche für alle Parteien und es liegt sehr weit vom Zentrum entfernt.

Debby has a beautiful haven here! Loved the home, lots of outside space with amazing fruit trees, and of course awesome hospitality. It was exactly the comfortable, clean and homely experience we needed on our trip!

Close to the Cemetery Circuit, Debbie is a lovely welcoming host. Was one of the only places available during the Cemetery Circuit racing day. Access/checkin and communication with the host was excellent.

Only minor complaints - Bedroom was very small (only just fitted the double and single bed), Noise from other occupants was carried into the room in the evening.

Very welcoming. Particularly impressed that the host organised a pot luck dinner as I arrived on Christmas Day

The old villa has a very special charm. I felt right at home. The kitchen was so well-equipped, which was wonderful. The shower was fantastic, and the bed was so comfortable! But what really made me special was our host, Debby. She's such a wonderful person. We had some deep conversations, and she even got up extra early one Sunday morning to drive me to the bus stop. Thank you for everything, Debby. I'll never forget my stay with you.

Ein original historisches Haus mit Charm und Karakter. Die Küche ist eine tolle Begegnungsstätte und die schwarze Katze rundet das Ganze ab. Wir würden hier immer wieder übernachten.

Lovely old style villa and perfect room for a stay

Fabulous place, very comfortable and a warm reception. Host friendly and accommodating, I was tired and needed a good rest and got just that. It is an older house but got lovely character and really is good value - I’d absolutely book again

It was cold and damp in my room, probably due to the age of the house and the season The bathroom was very outdated, the shower was dirty and beyond repair - definetely needs to be replaced.

The host is very nice, and the room is clean and spacious. Unfortunately we were quite tired, so we went pretty much straight to bed.

The property is clean and comfortable. The host is really pleasant and helpful. There aren't any unpleasant 'quirks' so don't be offcuts by it's name. My room was large and well decorated. A niceplace to stay

Debby was an amazing host. I couldn't have asked for a more friendly and accommodating host. I've stayed at quite a few homestays and I have never felt more comfortable and welcomed. As a solo female traveler, I also felt safe. Would definitely stay again.

Debby is a great host. Although we each had our own room & bed it has the communal feel of a hostel. Fairly short bus #210 into downtown.

No a/c, room was very hot. Old style, house not renovated, but room was clean.

We attended the Masters Games. It was literally 6 mins from the dart hall. Our hostess Debbie was lovely. The home lives up to it's name quaint and quirky. Lovely to chat to as we sat on the deck after the games. Even inviting us to movie club.. The homemade lemon water was a treat

I had had a long journey and was feeling a little tired, within a few minutes of my arrival, I felt uplifted by the warm welcome and peace of Quirky Villa. The way that Debby arranges the villa everyone is able to relax and respect each other.

The host is super-easy to get along with and is attentive to guest's needs. It is highly likely I will choose to stay here again.

Good location handy to what I needed. Awesome shower water pressure.

Sharing the one toilet and shower. Had to wait for both

I left before breakfast. Check out was 9.00am anyway Good parking on site and friendly host. Very homely atmosphere

We provided our own food. Liked the atmosphere - hostess very welcoming - a comfortable homely old house. Cosy comfy beds.

House exterior looks a bit run down but owner in process of renovating. Needed a separate hand basin for the toilet - couldn't wash our hands when someone else was using the bathroom.

Debby and her other half were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed sitting and watching the chase with them and feeling at home. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were excellent

Stayed here over Xmas and was made to feel very welcome by Debby and her family. Room was large and comfortable and the fridge was really useful. Shared bathroom was not a problem. Whole stay was excellent.

The gardens were not tidy. This is a very old house with out of date furnishings. The shower needs some exit mold.

I felt safe parking my car on the property and knowing that it wouldn't be broken into at night!! The road around the property appeared nice and safe and trouble-free which is good and pleasing.....esp. since it was my first time booking and as such I booked 'unseen' by the Internet.

Sorry I booked late and didn't say about my 'bed' requirements which I realised recently are 'Medium' and I think you said the one I had was 'Soft' so unfortunately I did have trouble sleeping - but we talked about it in the morning and I appreciated what you suggested for "next time?"

Could of had a TV not a major problem but would have made it a little bit more relaxing
