Charming City Getaway

We had a pleasant stay at this apartment in Gueliz. The apartment matched the listing and included all the amenities that were advertised. The air conditioning worked excellently in all rooms, which was especially appreciated during the warm weather. The layout was great for our family of five. The master bedroom was spacious and featured a huge bed along with an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom had two large single beds, which were very comfortable. The living room downstairs had two large sofas, which, although they do not convert into beds, were large enough to sleep on comfortably if needed. A special mention goes to the host, Ju, who was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. He was at the apartment to greet us on arrival and even messaged us while our flight was landing to check our arrival time. When I was looking to rent a car, he went out of his way to contact friends and local contacts to try to help find one, although none were available at the time. He also assisted with translating when there were language barriers with a car rental company near the apartment, which we greatly appreciated.

There were only two issues during our stay. First, the locks on both bathroom doors were broken and did not work, which was inconvenient when staying with a family. Second, the master bedroom lighting was very poor. There was only one light in the room, and it was extremely dim. I had brought my laptop with me to do some work during the trip, but the lighting was so weak that I had to use the living room instead, as the bedroom light made very little difference. Overall, the apartment was comfortable, well-equipped, and in a good location. Combined with Ju's excellent hospitality and willingness to help, we had a very enjoyable stay. With the bathroom locks repaired and improved lighting in the master bedroom, this would be an outstanding place to stay.

Appartement propre et très bien équipé, idéalement situé à proximité des restaurants et des commerces accessibles à pied. L’emplacement est très pratique pour tout faire sans voiture. Il y a un peu de bruit la nuit dû à la proximité du centre, mais cela reste le compromis pour être proche de tout. Globalement, très bon séjour.

Appartamento nuovissimo, all’interno molto molto bello. Ben arredato e ben curato. Staff gentile e puntuale.

Qualche attenzione in più non guasterebbe, per esempio un po’ di sale e olio visto che c’è la cucina, una scopa e qualche rotolo di carta igienica. Noi siamo rimaste una settimana quindi abbiamo dovuto comprare tutto.

Spacious and clean. The owner was accommodating and book taxi’s for us to and from the airport hence less hassle. He also allowed us to leave our luggage as we came before the check-in time.

Maybe no mirror in the second room and the bathroom is on the first floor. So you have to climb up the stairs again if you left something behind.

It looks exactly like the pictures! Beautiful and spacious! Easy to relax in this home when you are tired from shopping and exploring!

Everything was amazing.

The host Ayoub was very hospitable and was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was very big and catered for everything that we needed. We got there earlier than planned and allowed us to check in a couple of hours earlier which was very helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful apartment. Located just outside the souk markets where it is a bit quieter, within a 10-15 minute walk you are there. It gives you a lovely perspective of the walk coming into the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful spacious apartment with all necessary equipment. Everything you would need and attentive host. Would definitely recommend and always come back. Everything like pictures and a little outdoor area great for sitting or just drying clothes
