Although my room was small cuz it was a single bed room, I had all the amenities I needed. The bathroom was comfortable, and I had space in the terrace to hang my things to dry.

It was very cozy and nice room very good location.

Better breakfast and more variations.

The location is fantastic! In the heart of the old city. The room was nice with a nice balcony on a nice walking street (no cars are allowed in this street). Room was cleaned and the bed was very very comfortable.defenetly good value for money.

Hard to find parking next to the hotel. There is a parking there (with fee) but you can park inly 4 hours a day... There us a lot of stairs if you on the second floor, not problematic for us but maybe hard for others. The last things, pressure in the shower a little low...not critical but still.

The hotel and the room were exactly as described. The location was perfect. The room had everything we needed, and most importantly, it was spotlessly clean. Our room was cleaned every day. A special thank you to our host, Elena. She was always available and constantly did her best to help us with anything we needed. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

Great location in the Old Town. The room was extremely small with no space. But apart from that everything else was wonderful.

Το πάρκινγκ στην παλιά πόλη είμαι πάρα πολύ δύσκολο, αλλά και πάλι εκεί θα κλείναμε για να μείνουμε!!!

The property is located in a very central and vibrant area, right at the start of the old Venetian port, very easy to get around and to visit Chania by foot. The rooms are nice and redecorated, with a cute little balcony perfect for morning coffees. The staff were very nice and friendly and even let me leave the luggage to the restaurant in front, after my check out.

Everything was wonderful! The staff were truly amazing, especially Elena 🫶🏼, she was incredibly supportive and solved a small issue we had quickly and effortlessly. She kept in touch with me the whole time, and I’m so grateful for her everything The view from the rooftop was incredible. Breakfast was really good with everything you could possibly want. The room was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped, it even had ironing board ( I was super happy when I saw it) , fridge and coffee machine. Towels were provided and could be changed daily or upon request.

Honestly, everything was perfect. If I could share just one tiny suggestion.. my single room didn't have a full-length mirror. Given the boutique’s style, putting one near the entrance would be a great addition! ✨

Location was fabulous, in a quiet area but close to everything. Exceptionally comfortable and clean, spacious !out host was so wonderful and accommodating!

This is an exceptional hotel with superb rooms. The rooms are luxurious and smell divine. Elena was so helpful and made me feel completely welcome and comfortable. I would stay here a million times over and felt sad leaving. If anyone is thinking of staying in Chania this should be their first and only choice.

There is nothing bad

Lovely room right in the heart of Chania, balcony was perfect to sit out on at night overlooking the street below, lovely clean room with everything we needed, breakfast served in the hotel opposite is quite basic but everything you need to start the day and a good coffee too!

Our shower tray filled up quickly during our stay, still a beautiful place though!

Clean, very cosy, AC was strong. Location was pretty good as well - easy to walk around the town ~

Usually there is no one at the front desk and you’ll contact them via Whatsapp - sometimes it’s a bit difficult to grab hold of them when we required extra towels etc but not a particularly big issue as they would meet you for check in! So this only applies to additional requests you may have over the stay - better to contact them in advance about these

NO RESERVÉIS LA HABITACIÓN DE LA PLANTA BAJA. Las persianas no funcionan, la puerta es traslúcida y entra luz y ruido durante toda la noche. Además, no limpiaron la habitación tras la primera noche y la única solución fue ofrecernos otra por más de 100 € adicionales. Nos dijeron que era la primera queja, aunque el mismo problema ya aparece en otras reseñas. Nada recomendable.

We had a wonderful stay! What we loved the most was definitely the beautiful interior of the hotel. It is incredibly stylish, modern, and tastefully designed, which made us feel very comfortable. The location is also absolutely perfect. It is close to everything, including great restaurants and attractions, making it a fantastic base for exploring. Highly recommended!

La atención de Elena es un 1000/100. Nuestro vuelo se retraso mas de una hora y nos espero hasta nuestra llegada. El hotel esta en una zona muy bonita con muchos restaurantes y tienditas. No tiene ascensor.

We wanted to explore all the lovely alleys, shops & cafes in Old Town & this stay was perfect for 3 nights. We were just inside the front entrance so no steps to climb. It’s the size of a good hotel room with one high window, a bathroom, a very comfortable bed & we booked with breakfast included which was at a nearby hotel and was very good with a nice espresso machine. Wonderful communication & taxi booking done for us!

For a longer stay I would have wanted more windows for natural light but it really wasn’t basement feeling at all!

The staff are amazing. So helpful and nice! The location is superb as well.

The photos of the rooms on booking are of the bigger rooms - if you’re a solo traveler prepare for a tiny room which is not showcased on booking.

Location, location 5 mins to beach. Ambient area. Breakfast to satisfy, opposite. Comfy bed. Shower and all mod cons. TV with apps!

Nous avons tout apprécié. L'endroit était parfaitement localisé. Les petites ruelles très mignonnes et calmes. Le matin prendre le petit déjeuner dans la rue était agréable. La chambre au rez était très bien. Le personnel ultra accueillant et à notre disposition.

Excellent location, modern room with Elena host & Ms Kyriaki house keeping, couldn’t do enough to help and make our stay as perfect as possible, also breakfast hosted by the hotel El Greco opposite was excellent. 😀

L’hôte était extrêmement gentille et à l’écoute. Le lit était confortable. La chambre était propre.

La chambre était petite mais on pouvait circuler. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment nul, mais il dépendait d’un autre hôtel ( même chose chaque jour, aliments froids…j’en passe)

O prédio foi remodelado . A localização é ótima . Café da manhã ok . Os produtos de banheiro ok e o banheiro tem ducha higiênica.

O quarto número 4 é muito pequeno para um casal com malas . O hotel não tem local para guardar as malas . A luz de emergência fica de frente para cama e quem tem sensibilidade com claridade para dormir como eu , é bem ruim .

L'emplacement est très bien car proche du centre de la vielle mais au calme. L'accueil était sympatique et efficace. La décoration sympa. La litérie était confortable. Un balcon agréable.

La chambre était un peu petite avec le lavabo, très joli, dans la chambre.

I’d really like to highlight the hotel’s location, right in the heart of Chania city center. The hotel itself is very impressive, with great attention to detail that truly gives it a boutique hotel feel. The hotel manager was fantastic and super friendly, a genuinely engaging person who recommended some great places to eat and enjoy a drink. The rooms were also very spacious and comfortable. Both Deluxe and Superior rooms As for breakfast, it’s served in another hotel just across the street. It’s simple, but has all the essentials you need to start the day. Overall, I can say it’s a very cosy and charming hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Værelset var super flot og stilfuldt. Der var rent og pænt. Ligger helt fantastisk i forhold til den gamle bydel. Personalet var rigtig søde og hjælpsomme.

Der var ikke så meget plads, men nok.

Moderne, saubere Zimmer, beste Lage in Chania. Super nettes Team, das uns gut betreut hat.

Die tolle Dachterrasse könnte mit Sitzgelegenheit noch toller sein. Parken ist schwierig, am besten Parkhaus ansteuern nach Entladen.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Tolle Lage mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften in der Nähe. Das Zimmer war sauber, wir hatten eines mit Balkon – sehr empfehlenswert.

Casa Modiano is a great place to stay for a few days visit to Chania. Its very close to the old harbour situated in a smart street just a few steps away from the more crowded areas. There are a few hotels, and bars and boutiques as well as local shops and the lovely Kormoranos local bakery/cafe right outside. The rooms are high quality and very comfortable, albeit compact, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast is provided across the street in the El Greco Hotel and it was very good.

If you have a room at the front with a tiny balcony then there's bound to be a little noise from the street below at night, especially as local people tend to sit and chat outside the cafe below - but it wasn't all that disturbing

The only thing was the pillows were a bit hard.

The hotel is ideally positioned for access to everything. Beautifully appointed room with all amenities and great toiletries! Elena at reception couldn’t have been more helpful. A wonderful breakfast is served in the hotel opposite (literally 10 paces away!!) with everything you could possibly want to eat, both hot and cold. A fabulous stay with nothing negative report! Thank you!

The comfortable bed, extra space with a living room. Very quiet street, and close to harbour. Extremely helpful stall and Eleanor was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Breakfast across the road was self service and the food was average and cooked food was warm at best. Staff were helpful and friendly. Charged 5 euros for losing a key despite a broken chair which wasn’t replaced. 10% discount in neighbouring restaurant not given

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, a perfect location, very comfortable beds, and absolutely delicious breakfasts! I would definitely recommend it :))

Unfortunately, our apartment had only one small ceiling window, which meant there was very little natural light and it was quite difficult to air out the room. It would also be wonderful if there could be a small bench or a couple of chairs on the terrace for guests to use.

Petit déjeuner vraiment décevant et toilettes dans la douche un peu particulier. Je déconseille la chambre au rdc, assez bruyante et la lumière du hall est allumée toute la nuit.
