Villa Laguna Maldives

-safe for solo female traveler -very helpful for trips, transport -pick up at Jetty -track my transport info to make sure I was on the right boat towards the right destination -amazing bikini beach only 15 min walking distance -small island very quiet -good bars and restaurants -simple and sufficient breakfast but what is expected on such a small island -daylight shower and bathroom -free use of snorkelling gear

NA

Sauberkeit, sehr freundliches Personal. Grosse Zimmer.

Das Frühstück könnte meh von sich geben.

The room is quite clean, with a lovely small garden. Bathroom is really lovely as well

the boil kettle is really disgusting because it was full of limescale. Since I was the only guest there, they basically only had egg for breakfast and next day I was taking the boat at 7am I couldn’t find anyone for water. I had to walk to the jetty for the boat as well. This is not a good experience, especially compared to my previous trip to a different island before this, the hotel staff woke up at 5 to make some breakfast for me and sent me to the jetty at 6am. Service cab be improved

Good, clean

Mega lieb. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

From the treat and attention we did received from the staff and the owner. Also decoration and location was very good. Very comfortable bed and good air conditioner.

Nothing all very good

The breakfast needs an improvement but it was ok

The environment is comfortable and the staff is very friendly. They will meet our requirements and provide great service. We will choose to live again next time.

Snad jen nedostatek úložného prostoru a trochu chudší rozsah nabídky snídaní i večeří.

Very nice and clean place with friendly stuff. Great choice.

- Good A/C - Clean Rooms, cleaning every day - Organizing trips, ferry to Malé - Free water/cofee/tea, beach towels, snorkeling gear and umbrellas - Good Wifi

- very poor breakfast - some of the staff which was cleaning the room was very nice. some of the other staff sat during the whole day in the common area and smoked cigarettes and watched conent on his phone over the speakers (very unprofessional)

So kind stuff and help with all questions, may thanks! Nice breakfast (we stay only one night) Comfortable bad

Little older room need more cleaner of armchairs and bathroom

We had VERY mixed feelings about this place. The room was beautiful and the wifi good. The bed was comfy and clean.

The breakfast really was a joke. First I thought people were exaggerating in the reviews BUT we have been to the Maldives 12 times but never have we had such disgusting breakfast. I think there is no kitchen so they cook a stack of eggs early and then hand them out over the next hours. They were always cold and there was 2 sausages accompanying them. As a vegetarian I was stuck with toast. Never any Maldivian breakfast, no real coffee. You could order a capsule coffee for 2,5 euro a pop. That would make them earn for a pack of ten capsules 25 usd. Sorry but that's a scam. Other than that the friendliness of the owner and the girl were very questionable. They just looked as if they were disgusted by their costumers. The young man that was working there, I suppose a Bangladeshi was lovely though.

- Zimmer hatte kein Fenster! Man hört jedes geräusch.

Friendly stuff, clean and nice!

Everything

The room was exceptional — the best room and staff we experienced. It truly felt like being on a private resort. We stayed for just one night, and unfortunately I didn’t take any photos, but it really felt like paradise. Every detail was thoughtfully considered. The bed was luxurious, and the bathroom was perfectly equipped with shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, and soft, white, fluffy towels. A wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Nice price

Poor cleaning service, Quite dirty in the bathroom

Friendly staff, nice location

Doors were not able to be close properly or lock.

Beautifull clean room. Very big and comfortable bed. Very nice staff.

I usually eat fruits for breakfast and in general on this island fruits are not available in the amount and variety that you used to have. Not in the breakfast nor even in the shops. They did their best to make me happy though…

The hotel is very cozy and, what is important, quiet (only 5 rooms). The staff is very kind and helpful. It was nice that they agreed to shorten the stay by 1 day, since we had to leave earlier. Wonderful place and people!

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice high ceiling room and bathroom with good natural lights

The bed was a bit squeaky, bathroom taps were a bit lose and leaking.

We stayed at Villa Laguna and really enjoyed it. The hotel is new, very clean, with stylish and bright rooms. The bathroom was modern and comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was decent and fresh. The hotel is located a bit away from the beach, but in a quiet area near the port, which is great for evening walks along the promenade. A special thanks to the hotel manager — he stayed in touch, helped us book a speedboat, and gave clear directions on how to find it. Overall, a great place for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

the fridge in the room wasn’t very cold.

Actually everything what it's important! We loved the island and all the staff was very friendly and helpful! They help you to organize trips which are guided with a very cool guide and an extremely friendly capitan. Also the communication was excellent at any given time. They organise also the speedboat and are also flexible with changes. It is a small business and you feel to be in a warm environment. I hope Fulhadoo will not grow hotels as mushrooms like in Dhigurah for instance as it would probably loose the warm human touch, we loved soooo much in Fulhadoo! The hotel is super beautiful with palms in the bathroom and vivid vegetation in the dining room , which is open and has a very good energy together with the excellent service of all the people worked there. We absolutely loved it and wished to stay much longer than we did! Ahh and the beds were perfect as well super comfy mattresses!! Top!

Very nice, friendly and helpfull staff, especielly Mira. A nice room.

All was good but we were wondering why the price is douple compared the same kind of rooms in other islands very close to Fulhadhoo. All was good but the price was too high.

The entire staying was wonderful, the room was impeccable, new, big, very clean all the time, shower was great, the staff is so nice, specially the Indonesian lady, she is a gem! They offer for free bikes (you will want them as the tip of the bikini beach (which is the most beautiful part) is a little far from all the hotels), snorkelling equipment, get your luggage with cart from the dock.. We loved our staying, Fulhadhoo and Villa Laguna were a great choice for our first Maldives trip, the island is a dream.

Breakfast could have more fruit options, but I understand that fruits in general are difficult to get in the island.

Very tasty food, amazing open dining space, surrounded by plants and nature. Excellent room service and super friendly and helpful staff and owner.

The staff were excellent, sweet, kind and helpful. Fulhadhoo is one of the most beautiful places I have visited in the world.

The room cleanliness was poor, the bathroom was open to the sky, raining, everything was wet and slippery very dangerous. The food was not appetising.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house. The rooms were clean, with a large and very comfortable bed. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. When booking, I mistakenly thought I reserved a room with a patio based on the photos, but it turned out that the room with a patio was much more expensive. The owner was very understanding and generously offered to upgrade me to the better room without asking for any extra payment, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Villa Laguna is a beautiful guesthouse in Fulhadhoo, the staff are so welcoming and accommodative. The guesthouse is very clean and safe. We are so grateful for the staff for helping organise a birthday surprise and they really made our stay all the more memorable. We can’t wait to be back!

The staff is very welcoming and kind, they have good advice and helped with a lot during our stay. The Villa Laguna Maldives is a beautiful place. Clean, comfortable and unwinding. For all those thinking about the length of the speedboat, the travel is well worth it! We had amazing stay and we wish we could come back again Thank you very much for organizing a Birthday surprise for our daughter! The cake was very delicious.

Great staff, very clean object, we liked everything 😊

The rooms are big and bright and I really loved the bathroom with the light open style. The bed was comfortable and breakfast also good.

Don't forget your ear plugs. You can hear your neighbours very well

Shower with the skylight, very large bed, close to the jetty, nice staff, good food and clean sheets. All pictures from the booking are accurate. The island has a beach that goes through its enire length with white soft sand. West beach is just 20 min walk and offers beautiful sunsets.

The skylight in bathroom does not isolate from heat or noises from the other bathrooms. The cantine area is a open space with lobby garden and the corridor to the rooms.

We didn't know that the boat to the island only goes once a day, and we arrived late, the owner offered us to change the reservation for 4 days instead of 5 so to not to lose money, it was very good move. Also there’s very helpful staff they can help you with many questions
