Die Betten waren wirklich gut - wir haben sehr gut geschlafen! Der Blick auf die meisten Teile des Fjords war gut - außer auf die Zinkfabrik von Boliden. Das war schon ein bisschen speziell.

Das Bad hat irre gestunken nach Abfluss. Die Küche war nicht richtig sauber und die Spülmaschine nicht ausgeräumt. Das war nicht in Ordnung! Grundsätzlich kann die Wohnung eine Renovierung gebrauchen - wie auf den Bildern sah es definitiv nicht aus!

The parking is only accessible if you have a SUV, so we had to find parking on the street. We met neighbours who knew very well about the problem with the drive way. The pictures on Booking do not reflect the reality of the property. All the soft furnishings have been removed, so it is not a comfortable and cosy place to stay. In previous reviews several problems had been mentioned and have not been repaired - dangerous electrical wire hanging on deck; the shower door is broken and cannot be closed. There was a coffee cup and cigarette butts outside the door as well as not being clean inside - stairs carpet and kitchen cupboards were dirty. We left this property early after contacting the owner who did not help resolve our issues. It's a shame as it's a property with huge potential.

This apartment is located on the hillside and to reach it you will have to travel through extremely narrowing winding roads with cars parked on one side and barely room left for a single passing car, not to mention the tight hairpin bends. (These should be mentioned in the description) Once you reach the apartment parking is a nightmare. There is a sloping parking area where you have to park your car and has to be done very tactfully. When I initially tried to park, my car undercarriage kept hitting the road and the car would shut down itself. We were just not sure how to park. Fortunately a neighbour came out and showed us how to get our car on the slopping parking area. (None of this was told to us by the owner). Then of course you have a whole lot stairs to take your luggage up. The house and kitchen is hi-tech but the refrigerator does not have freezer (i messaged the owner, got no response!). On the first day when we started cooking some of the steam from boiling food activated the fire alarm and it shut down the induction cooker. We just couldn’t get it switched on. It was almost 10pm ,we were all terribly hungry, food wasn’t ready and we just did not know what to do. We open the trip meter box but everything looked ok. We messaged the owner, no response , tried calling on the number at booking.com no response. After a frustrating one hour, hungry and angry 😡, we again opened the trip meter box again and at one place there was a small message in Norwegian which we translated with google app and it mentioned about how to prevent the induction cooker shut down and how to restart it……..we finally had our dinner. Btw our owner responded the next day!!! We had few other problems during our stay and i messaged our owner, he never responded……..extremely irritating ! This problem, I have faced with all the booking.com rentals which I booked in norway, is that none of the owners or their representatives are available on site.

Die abgebildeten Fotos sind nicht ganz der Realität entsprechend, es fehlten die Blumentöpfe, Wandbilder, Kissen …. worunter die Gemütlichkeit leidet. Im Badezimmer war zeitweise ein unangenehmer Geruch. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Herdplatte ließ sich allerdings nicht aktivieren. Insgesamt schade, dass man diese Abstriche machen muss - zumal sie schon in früheren Bewertungen angesprochen wurden und der Preis für die Wohnung eher hoch ist.

Amazing fjord views, very clean and comfortable accommodation. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Great location for visiting Trolltunga. Everything was well organized and we had a wonderful stay.

We were missing a chair was only 6 chairs we were 7. The shower door was broken, the fridge was smelling of fish and the dishwasher was full. We had a electric wire hangen down on the side of the balcony. The parking was really bad the basement apartment was holding so bad that we had problems getting ind and out. The trash container was missing so we had to go a longe way with trash to find a container to trow the trash in.

Beliggeheden og udsigten.

Badeværelset havde en ubehagelig lugt, som enten mindede om kloak eller skimmelsvamp. Opvaskemaskinen var ikke tømt ved ankomst, og der var også snavset bestik i den. Der manglede både salt og afspændingsmiddel, hvilket betød, at opvaskemaskinen ikke kunne benyttes. Emhætten var meget beskidt og fedtet. Overordnet set kunne rengøringsniveauet være væsentligt bedre.

Это старый сарай, с минимальным косметическим ремонтом! Где фотографии от владельца объекта не соответствуют действительности! У нас есть полный видеообзор, который мы готовы предоставить. Это был испорченый отпуск и сам праздник встречи Нового Года. Мы не рекомендуем этот объект! Просили владельца подготовить дом к нашему маринаду так как у нас трое детей и самая младшая девочка еще на грудном кормлении потому что ей годик! Дом не отопили, мы приехали в мороз минус 14 градусов, и почти сутки ходили в верхней одежде. Мы просили что бы нам подготовили дрова для камина, предупреждая что у нас ребенок, владелец этого не сделал и даже не предупредил! Мы были вынуждены ехать искать дрова по всему поселку вместо подготовки к встрече Нового года, потому что дата заселения у нас была 31го декабра а время заезда после 15:00! А в обоих туалетах нас ждал еще два очень не приятных момента. На первом этаже очень сильно не приятный запах, который распространяется на весь первый этаж если держать дверь открытой что бы обогреть само помещение так как пол с подогревом не работает! На втором этаже очень холодно в туалете потому что нет обогрева совсем! На весь дом всего три маленьких настенных обогревателя, на втором этаже, которые не предназначены для обогрева такой площади и старенький кондиционер который давно нужно заменить так как он тоже не справляется с обогревом всего первого этажа! В итоге из за переохлаждения наша семья заболела на второй день, и мы все были вынуждены продлить наше проживание в этом не приятном месте что бы не ехать в дорогу с повышенной температурой и плохим самочувствием. За время проживания это 5 ночей, вместо желаемых трех, для комфортной температуры мы использовали дров почти на 3000 крон, и на лекарства потратили еще 1850 крон. И завершающий тоже очень неприятный сюрприз, это отсутствие гриля который тоже указан как опция. В итоге стейки жарили на сковородке, а не на углях как планировали…

Access up steep steps with no lights on to show the way.. poorly signposted and parking area not at all as shown in photos. A cat was very noisy and constantly trying to enter the apartment if you opened the door

Het ruime appartement en het fantastische uitzicht op een rustige locatie.

Zoals in eerdere beoordelingen is inderdaad de weg ernaartoe spannend. Maar dat zijn we gewoonweg niet gewend. De oprit naar de parkeerplaats is ons gelukt met geduld ;)

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich hervorragend ausgestattet – besonders die Küche hat uns positiv überrascht. Der Ausblick über Odda und den Fjord ist atemberaubend und allein schon die Reise wert. Ein positives Erlebnis war für uns auch die zutrauliche Katze, die um das Haus herum lebt und immer um Aufmerksamkeit bittet. Wir haben sie ab und an gefüttert und würden uns freuen, wenn auch zukünftige Gäste ihr etwas Liebe schenken.

Trotzdem könnte man noch ein bisschen mehr aus dem Haus herausholen: mit etwas Deko und Pflanzen würde es sofort viel gemütlicher wirken, Nachttischlampen wären praktisch, und die steile Auffahrt samt Parkplatz ist für größere Autos wirklich eine Herausforderung. Außerdem müssen wir uns einigen anderen Gästen anschließen und den unangenehmen Geruch im Badezimmer und lose Klodeckel erwähnen.

The house is very good and has everything you might need: an iron, a hairdryer, dishwasher tablets, laundry capsules, and coffee filters. The house was clean and cozy, with a wonderful atmosphere. The view of the mountains and the city from the windows was breathtaking. This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Everyone was impressed! Many thanks to the hosts for their warm welcome and care. We would love to come back again.

The only thing to note is that parking can be a bit challenging since the house is located on a hillside. Cars with low clearance may find it difficult in some spots, but this is a feature of the location and not the hosts.

Zeer mooi uitzicht over de fjord. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig Handdoeken aanwezig en zeep. Heel proper, zeer comfortabele bedden. Om het huis te bereiken zeer stijl na boven, zeer smal omdat er andere auto's staan geparkeerd. Gezellig ingericht. Zeer goede douche. Zeer groot terras met terrasenverwarmers. Duidelijke pdf bij aankomst huis. Mogelijkheid dat er huurders beneden of boven zitten. Wij huurde boven, dus enkel huurders beneden ons. We hadden geluk dat we steeds rustige personen hadden. (Buiten 1 keer van niet) Smart tv. Mooie locatie. Zeer mooie wandelroutes in de buurt.

Parkingplaats is zeer smal en stijl voor twee wagens. We hebben de auto op straat geparkeerd, want beschadigde anders de bumper of trekhaak van de auto.

The parking spot wasn't good. It is built the way that while parking, we scratched our car. We could see other guests struggle with parking their cars too. The electrical cooking plata wasn't working. I smsed the host, but didn't get any response. Throughout our stay we couldn't cook properly.

Fotos der Ausstattung entsprechen nicht der Realität! Küche und Essbereich waren schön und den Fotos entsprechend. Im Hauptbad fehlten abgebildete Regale. Abfluss und Trockner verursachten ekelhaften Gestank.Vermieter war dies durch vorherige Bewertung bekannt.Auf Nachfrage wurde Abhilfe NACH unserer Abreise versprochen... Toilette an unmöglicher Stelle montiert. Bequem ist anders. Obere Etage völlig lieblos.keinerlei Deko.kein Nachtschrank am Bett,kein Licht, teilweise keine Steckdosen. Schrank nur halb so groß wie abgebildet. Auf Veranda andere Möbel als auf Fotos, einer von 2 Tischen samt Stühlen sowie ein Grill fehlte. Holzboden Veranda teilweise defekt. Angeblicher Parkplatz nicht nutzbar. Wenn Fahrzeug nicht höher gelegt, keine Chance ohne Schäden draufzufahren. Statt Asphalt wie auf Fotos, loser grober Schotter Sieb im Waschbecken defekt,dadurch dauerhaft Wasser im Spülbecken. Leider keinerlei Grundausstattung wie Salz,Pfeffer,Öl...klar, keine Pflicht...dennoch bei dem Preis erwartbar. Kurzum, die Fotos sind teilweise irreführend. Insgesamt stimmt Preis/Leistung (306€/Nacht) hier nicht, auch im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften, welche wir während der Reise hatten.

Der Name ist Programm - Fjord View die Aussicht vom Esstisch, Küche und Terasse ist einmalig. Die Anfahrt aus der Stadt auf den Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist aufregend ; - ) auf Grund der tollen Lage. The road up is very narrow & parking with our van was tight.

This is a newly done-up apartment in a lovely location. The host sent us helpful information about our stay just before our arrival, and it was really easy to get into the property. It's basically the ground and upper floors of a house, with the basement being a separate apartment. It's clean, bright, very spacious and generally well-equipped. The area is quiet and not far from shops and restaurants in Odda. It's quite high up, and as a result the best thing about the property is the incredible view over the fjord. We enjoyed looking out over it as the sun went down, and the balcony was perfect for this. The bed in the master bedroom is very large and really comfortable, and the blackout blinds meant we weren't woken early during the longer spring days.

First off, a note that not all the photos reflect the current appearance of the apartment. A lot of the furniture that is shown isn't present, especially all that's shown in the bathroom photos. I felt that the place was less cosy than it appeared in the photographs. The driveway is currently incredibly rough with loose rock covering it. It would also be narrow for two larger cars - luckily we were the only ones using it at the time. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom the whole time, despite the window being left open and the fan being run. It seemed to come from the shower drain. A good dose of bleach should sort it out, and it would be great if some was left in the bathroom for this. There was also a sour smell coming from the air conditioning unit in the living area. The property is nicely done up overall, but there are some niggles. The fridge is often very hard to open as the door has strong suction but the handle for it is tiny and you can't open it at the side. The toilet seat in the small upstairs toilet is too big for it, and it sits too far forward. The main bedroom door doesn't fit quite right so there's quite a bit of resistance when opening and closing. There are no bedside lamps, and in the main bedroom the light is quite far from the bed so you're plunged into darkness and having to feel your way to the bed after turning it off. There weren't basic essentials for self-catering, such as salt, pepper, cooking oil. There was a coffee machine but no filter papers at all. We ended up buying a pack and leaving some for the next occupants. We understand that these aren't a requirement, but it would be really helpful and they were provided by most other properties during our trip across Norway. Other things that could be helpful are a drying rack for clothing that can't be tumble dried and some mugs with handles (none of the mugs in the apartment have handles).
