Reviewed Aug 26, 2025Das Appartment war sehr schön und hatte theoretisch alles, was man so brauchen kann, inkl. Waschmaschine mit Trockner, Herd, Backofen, Wasserkocher usw. Die Schlüsselübergabe via Zahlencode funktionierte problemlos! Anfangs funktionierte der Fernseher nicht, man hat uns dann umgehend weiter geholfen! Im Haus gibt es Infozettel zu, Herd, Ofen, Heizung usw. Trotz der Zettel habe ich den Backofen nicht anbekommen...Herd funktionierte aber einwandfrei. Auch die Warmwassersituation habe ich trotz Anweisungen leider nicht verstanden...Für einen Kurztrip nach Kilkee ist das Appartment auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Bis zum Strand und der Hauptstraße läuft man nur ein paar Minuten. Die Gegend ist in der Nacht ruhig. Im Appartment sind auch ein paar Bücher und Puzzle, was ich persönlich super fand und so meine Abende mit dem elektrischen Kaminofen und einem Disney-Puzzle ausklingen lassen habe.
Das Appartment ist nicht mehr ganz neu und hier und da könnte es etwas modernisiert werden. Die Bedienungsanleitungen für die Geräte habe ich sehr geschätzt, schade nur, dass ich die Anwendung anscheinend trotzdem nicht verstanden habe.

We expected apartment for 5 Adults as requested at booking but in my opinion it wasn't suitable or big enough for 5 adults..2 of our group could not make the holiday so it was perfect for us 3...!! It would suit family of 2 adults and 3 children...

The room allocation was not as advertised . There was only one hob on the cooker working and by the second last day of our stay the cooker would not work at all . This was a major inconvenience for us . There was no child locks on the window . Very dangerous for a first floor apartment .

Reviewed May 11, 2024The apartment was very clean and comfortable and very well stocked with all the basics which was a very handy. The beds were really comfortable. I loved the little personal touches we found around the apartment, jigsaw puzzles in the wardrobe, reading books in the lounge area, candles, brochures etc, I felt Clara really made her visitors feel welcome and provided little extras which made the stay even more enjoyable.

nothing - just to consider for reduced mobility people, elderly etc: the shower is in the bath and the apartment is on the 1st floor with outside direct access and the stairs are very steep.

There weren't enough beds. We needed 4, not a double and 2 singles. We couldn't get hold of the caretaker at all on our visit.

Shower wasn't great and there was no hot water for the last 2 days of our stay. Couch was broken - the back of it kept slipping down and there was a constant smell of drains from the utility room. Just needs updating a bit.

You get what you pay for. It was clean although I didn't use any of the kitchen utensils. All we wanted was a bed and it suited us. It was a bit smelly , I think from the kitchen. Could do with a good deep clean and painting. The sofa needs replacing. The light in the kitchen was not strong enough. The owners however manage to have clean bedding and towels and that is the important things for me.
