Huge room and very comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and try to help. Chanya is particular is a wonderful person.
Goede locatie en toch rustig en ruim
The place, the staff and the big room
Spacious room and clean when arriving. Staff was super nice.
Wasn't cleaned during my stay but I never asked. Im sure if u asked they would clean, they're super nice
The place was big and the balcony was great.
The TV did not work at all, when I asked the staff they said it usually doesn't work and other guests didn't ask for it. The sink clogged and took a while to drain. The roof top view was blocked by a fence so you couldn't really see any view of the city below.
Read previous review/s for a more accurate description of my stay. Just to clarify, the construction that is/was going on at the time is not part of their business. The construction is related to their neighbour. Go pay less money elsewhere and get a better night's sleep. Regarding my reservation, I booked 3 nights online and I booked 1 extra night verbally. They mentioned that they could not amend the online bookings, however, they mentioned that they could find a solution for my verbal reservation which consisted of one night. That resolution was a refund of 50 cents which then increased to $2 - keep the change and go buy yourself an ice cream. I sincerely believe that the staff here needs better training instead of saving face.
The location is perfect and the staff are kind despite the miscommunications and lack of efficiency. The room is spacious and has a kettle for tea and coffee.
At the time of writing there was construction going on at the back of the hotel that the staff were aware of. Despite this, the staff were still checking people in, including myself, to the rooms where there was construction going on outside. The construction starts at about 7 am until the late afternoon. There was also problems with the drainage as water would not go down the basin or in the shower. Regarding the construction, I tried to reason with the staff that this wasn't very nice and that they should find some sort of solution . Maybe request not to be put at the very back of the building if possible. They did change the room for me after two nights and that room also had plumbing issues. Their solution was to always use a plunger even though there was a more serious issue at hand. In the end they offered me a 50 cent discount which then increased to $2 - keep the change and go buy yourself an ice cream.
- great location, right next to the party streets; - staff personnel is great, polite and attentive; - very high ceilings, the room feels spacious; - very big balcony on the same level and a terrace right above the room that can only be accessed from inside your room (personal roof terrace, surrounded with bamboo hedge); - friendly cats and a dog (We've read some reviews with complaints about the dog barking but we literally only heard it bark one time for 3 seconds throughout our whole stay); - it gets very bright in the room as the sun comes up (good for early risers, I always woke up before the alarm for my morning run)
- Beware, if you too don't drink or party until late, it might get annoying. It's at a party street, so it gets loud at night. Fridays and Saturdays are very loud deep into the night; - gets sunny bright in the room very early (if you like to sleep in); Overall it was a good experience but here are some things that could be improved: - should replace the entrance door to the room; - the overhead fan wasn't working, so we used AC at night; - sink and shower drain need urgent unclogging; - some spider clean up is in order (harmless ones, high ceilings make it complicated I suppose);
Location was superb very close to pub street
Hotel staff and rooms was very clean and big
Close to everything. Helpful staffs. Enjoy my stay
No elevators. But if you have light stuff it’s okay.
Cosy place, near center, staff friendly
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The building is old and not very clean.
The receptionist was nice. Overhead fan, aircon well placed room 201 Kettle for tea coffee The hotel is in a good location between pub street and supermarket Large room Good bed
Black barking dog in reception. Room 201. Noisy at front of hotel Wifi very very slow 1.7 mps No security locks on each of 3 doors Tv didnt work No bedside lights Hotel is still recovering from Covid. No money for maintenance from overgrown vegetation at entrance to general maintenance
rooms are big, have space for living and balcony is the best.
stairs are a bit high but still ok
Excellent Location and staffs were very accommodating and helpful. Was offered a free upgrade to the largest room type with the private stairs to balcony. There are flyers at the reception where you can grab flyers for tours. Motorbike rental can be booked too.
Quite a few cricket slipped through and made their way in. To the second night, saw 3/4 crickets dead and being eaten by ants. Bit noisy since the hotel is located on the main road. It was towards the end of my Cambodia trip and I wanted more a comfy stay so I checked out 1 night earlier to stay at else where.
Really nice room! Nice bathroom! Close to Pub street
The hotel is super hidden and it was hard to find on map or the entrance of it
The room was spacious, the staff were very helpful and friendly, free water every day, good location.
They didn’t tell us about the free water until after we asked maybe 2 days into the stay.
The hotel is near everything - just a minute or more to restaurants, cafes, shops and the night market and famous pub street. I also walked 15 minutes more or less to the Angkor National Museum, Made in Cambodia market and the nearby attractions. The room interior is charming, nice and spacious. Comfortable enough for my 5 nights stay in Siem Reap. The staff are all lovely ladies were very friendly and gave some good suggestions on where to eat and tour itineraries for the Angkor complex. I also enjoyed the pets-I saw 3 cats and a 4 month puppy and a new one arrived while I was there. So nice to have the pets welcome me home when I got back in the evenings or at night. I like dogs and cats so I didn’t mind having lots of them at my accommodation.
My room on level 2 was situated on the side of the Main Street and can hear motorized vehicles and sometimes people shouting in the middle of the night - I wasn’t bothered while sleeping but for guests that don’t like too much noise then don’t take the room next to the street. The other rooms might be ok but not sure. They ran out of drinking bottled water for 2 days and only after 2 days did they give me water and made up for the 2 days without. Had to buy my water at the nearby convenience store. No elevator. Not a big issue for me as I am always keen to use the stairs. It was just a challenge to carry up my luggage to the 2nd level. Above were minor stuff for me. I would still be happy to come back and stay again in this hotel when I am in Siem Reap.
Puppy and cats at the reception desk for cuddling 😁
Clean! Very helpful staff speaking very good English!!! Location !! Huge huge huge rooms , balconies!! I loved it !!
The staff were so beautiful and we loved hanging out with the animals at reception. The room had so much charm.
Our room had a spiral staircase leading to a rooftop. Unfortunately, the rooftop space is completely run down and didn't offer anything to spend time in.
The staff was so Nice
Nothing
I had an amazing experience at this place in Siem Reap. The staff was incredibly friendly, making it the best choice for accommodation. Its proximity to Pub Street and various restaurants was a definite plus. Despite the central location, there was no outside noise to disturb my sleep. The beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious and immaculately clean. I highly recommend this hotel!!!
Nothing, everything was perfect!
Nothing. Pathetic. Nothing as shown in photo. Staff can't speak English. Airconditioner didn't work. No lift
They are cheaters. They have published some other photos of the rooms. When you go inside, it's very bad. No lift. AC doesn't work.
We had a nice stay at Summer Bliss Boutique. The staff were really friendly. Our room was very clean. We can recommend this place!
The room setups were a bit aged. The soundproofing was poor so it was a bit noisy at night.
very basic. really a room in an otherwise deserted building
cats everywhere. even in room. didn’t feel like a hotel. concrete steep steps. dangerous. poor security.
Staff were very friendly and courteous
I came with my mother, the room was spacious and well equipped. The location is great and the personnel is lovely.
All was great.
Very good location Can walk to PubStreet for have a dinner and enjoy It's Not far from AngkorWat. (Use Grab tuktuk 4$ but if you call tuktuk in front of hotel is 20$ 🥲) Staff is very nice 🩷 We went there in summer season It's very very hot and AC in the room work quite slow. Not much cold because of wheather outside is too hot. We can understand it. But if hotel can change the AC for more bigger size would be better 🤝 Evwrything is okay Worth
Everything is quite ok for this hotel ( pay cash only cannot use any card)
It's a good climb up leading up to our room. The property does not have elevator
the staff are so friendly and they have the most gorgeous puppy ‘boy’. The room was absolutely spotless and huge! we had a lovely big balcony out the front where we could sit and watch the world go by. location fab. would 100% stay again.
The location is probably one of the best in town if you're looking for a central location that's within walking distance to everything. The staff is very nice and helpful - excellent. The rooms are huge....especially the upper one with the balcony. The price is amazing for what you get.
The only complaint. It's very close to Pub Street....which can be good and bad. There are some late night music places that are within hearing distance. They go very late. If you're the type of person who likes to stay out late and want a great room for a cheap price...this is the place for you. I'm into quiet...lol
Good location. No lift within the property but the stairs were easy for an able bodied person. I was on the top(2nd floor). Big spacious and clean room with rather unusual spiral staircase to the private balcony which was run down and in need of serious attention/repair. So i wouldn’t particularly recommend that room. 2-3 girls staff the Hotel who were all very nice indeed. The room i was in had both AirCon and a ceiling fan.
WiFi was erratic but there are 2 connections available so never went without. Wouldn’t put you off coming here if the price is right.
the location is great. just seconds to walk to pub street
the building is in bad shape. ugly and dirty everywhere. the staff tried to short me $30 in change and then insisted that I didn’t understand the exchange rate when I noticed. I eventually went to get the correct change and paid that way. after that I didn’t feel secure at all, and I left without asking for a refund. the bathroom floor had clearly not been cleaned in a long time, and the upstairs balcony was covered with mold and filthy, and surrounded by rotting bamboo walls. there is NO rooftop view unless you’re willing to stand in mold and peer over a fence.
Near to popular destination. Value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. Provide very knowledgeable advice. Would strongly recommend friend to stay. Room is bug and clean
Provide cloth hangers and slippers
approachable staff and the envirionment was good..
