Colorado Riders Chalet

A beautiful location with STUNNING views - I had a room with a mountain room which I absolutely loved. Hosts Nadia & Olivier were also very friendly and helpful with local suggestions + transport tips. Bonus was their very cute dog, Charlie! Shuttle busses were free and easy to use, otherwise the main town is just a short walk down the hill. Breakfast was simple and tasty.

Honestly not much! I didn't expect there to be no fridge in the room which made keeping some food/drinks cool a little tricky in the heat, but completely manageable. Also, was a bit on the pricier side for one person, but worth it for a short stay and a gorgeous chalet experience!

Sehr sehr freundliches Personal. Ein sehr einfaches, aber gemütliches und liebevolles Hotel. Nettes Ambiente.

Die extra Kosten für das Parken. Das ist nicht kundenfreundlich und absolut unangebracht dafür extra Geld zu nehmen. Bei dem Preis nicht ok und kommt in guten Hotels nie vor.

Ne peut être amélioré car l’hôtel n’y peut rien mais je dirais que, porte-fenêtres ouvertes, les discussions sur le balcon des voisins manquent de privacy!

Położony w cichym ustronnym miejscu, nad strumieniem. Z okien i balkonów wspaniałe widoki na góry. Obiekt jest urządzony z dużym wyczuciem, udekorowany antykami. Pokoje są tematycznie urządzone, w naszym przypadku były to tenis i golf. Również ogólnodostępne sale ze smakiem zaaranżowane. Mili właściciele, domowa atmosfera. Smaczne śniadania ze świeżymi owocami, jogurtem własnej roboty, lokalnymi serami i wędlinami. Bardzo czysto.

I arrived 3.30 and I can’t go in till 4.00 if I go on before I will pay about 55 euro extra for half an hour.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé la passion de nos hôtes qui transparait à travers de leur petit bijou qu'est le Colorado Raiders. Ils ont le souci du détail et cela se voit à chaque recoin du chalet, dont la déco est constamment renouvelée. Un grand soin est également apporté à l'hygiène et la propreté. Un exemple : les chaussures s'enlèvent à l'entrée et des chaussons sont donnés au clients. Très appréciable et ce détail en dit long sur beaucoup de choses. Le petit déjeuné est très complet. Nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute et avec un énorme plaisir.

Nous réfléchissons à un détail qui pourrait être amélioré, mais nous cherchons encore!

It is hard to find anything not to like when all the personnel are trying at all times to make your stay memorable.

L'accueil d'Olivier et Nadia est formidable. Un endroit vraiment agréable où on se sent bien tout de suite. Proche de tout et à la fois très au calme.

A beautiful property in a good location just outside the main village, but a close walking distance to one of the ski lifts. The Inn is well decorated with personal pieces and items.

The atmosphere felt more like a museum or library than a welcoming inn. As a solo traveler, I never felt comfortable using the common areas. This property may be better suited to small groups or families who can gather privately within those spaces. The innkeepers operate the property more like a high-maintenance B&B than a relaxed micro-hotel. The host family occupies the main entry area and closes it off when guests are present, which adds to the sense that shared spaces are not truly open. Guests do not seem encouraged to use the main-floor bar area and are instead directed to the basement dining/bar space or a more secluded TV room. House rules are posted throughout—removing shoes, turning off lights, limiting water use—which, while understandable, contribute to a constrained and somewhat formal environment. The facility itself is immaculate and has great potential, but the overall experience feels overly controlled. The bar areas, in particular, appear more preserved than enjoyed—reinforcing the sense of staying in a place to observe rather than relax.

Le chalet est magnifique dans un endroit calme, le personnel intentionné, à l'écoute. La chambre spacieuse et décorée avec soins. Très bon petit-déjeuner avec de bons produits.

Very nice hotel, super clean and the interior design is so cozy and beautiful! The owner helps you about all the questions you have and gives you tourist information. It highly recommend this hotel!

Petit Déjeuner complet espace de rangement pour le matériel de ski appréciable avec sèche chaussures. Accès aux remontées mécaniques à 5 minutes à pied. Navette gratuite pour le village à proximité.

Im Zimmer Angebot stand Frühstück / kleines Frühstück. 1 Kaffee und ein Gipfeli ist KEIN Frühstück. War sehr entteuschend. Dann bitte auch so erwähnen bei der Zimmer Angabe.

Location is great! Next to the slopes

The chalet was wonderful, and the owners are truly kind and welcoming, making everything in their power to make us feel at home. They have their own products and family business, which we truly appreciate. The view from the room is amazing, facing directly the mountains, and the location is also very good - not far away from the village center but very quiet.

Honestly, the price is extremely high for what this place offers, but we believe that is not necessarily an issue with this chalet in particular, but rather outrageous hospitality prices throughout Crans Montana.

Ein tolles kleines, familiäres Hotel mit wunderbarer Einrichtung, viel Liebe zum Detail sowie sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Gastgebern.

Ontzettend gezellige gemeenschappelijke woonkamer, honesty bar met piano en pooltafel en wat je maar kunt verzinnen, in dorpje met veel mogelijkheden qua eten en winkelen.

De kamer zelf is eenvoudig in verhouding tot de prijs, al wordt dit goedgemaakt met de algemene ruimtes.

Tolle Lage, gute Luft, Hotelpersonal sehr entgegenkommend, wenn wir nicht kurzfristig abbrechen mussten, wären wir gerne länger geblieben

auch wenn dort viele Spiele wie z.b.Billard,Darts angeboten werden, hätten wir schon gerne einen TV im schlafzimmer haben wollen

Since I value high quality sleep, I prefer to have the room as dark as possible. This is often a difficult point for me in hotel rooms because they tend to use simple curtains that often don't even cover the window properly or pass through a lot of light. However, here the room has roller shutters which perfectly shuts off the light, so I was very happy with that! I also liked the nice big balcony with great view over the mountains. The room and bathroom were very tidy. I also really liked the one liter water bottles in glass on each side of the bed. A re-usable bottle with the hotel branding on it, so no plastic waste, and no microplastics upon consumption, awesome!

A slight point for improvement is the included breakfast. This currently includes 1 croissant, a coffee and orange juice. The croissant was really good, they get it from from the local bakery nearby and also the coffee was very tasty. I asked whether I could get a second croissant, but they only seem to purchase exactly one for each of the guests. That is a bit of a pity, buying a couple of extras would be nice. Especially since the bigger breakfast only seems available if you're with a group of people. But they do a good effort because they offered me a piece of baguette and some jam as an alternative for the croissant so that deserves a mention. And also the baguette was from their local bakery so it was good quality.

We like the views from the balcony, proximity to the chairlift,and the hosts.Their son Aurelien makes very good fondue. We bought it and brought to USA as a special delight for our guests.

Absolutely wonderful family run chalet. The facilities were great - ski room, breakfast bar, hot tub and a gorgeous yoga room. The owners were super helpful in arranging our stay and giving advice. The location was fantastic too - an easy walk to one of the main gondolas.

The only upgrade we would suggest are better pillows.

Amazing ambiance and like staying at a home

Superbe view from our suit, the well equipped, kitchen, great breakfast and nice and helpful hosts.

Just an attention point for people who want to work in the room and need wifi - i think that for the time being it is the place concept to not have wifi in the rooms in order to allow guests to fully relax. In my case I would have preferred to have it. However, there is a very comfortable salon where the WiFi is available.

Everything exceeded our expectations - Olivier and his family are the most welcoming hosts and have genuinely thought of everything in order to offer the best stay! The Chalet is a 2 min walk to the ski lift Violettes, perfect for skiers. Breakfast is great and there is a kitchen if you'd like to cook other meals. We really recommend staying here. Thank you so much we can't wait to be back!
