Golden Palms Apartment

I like the location of the property close to the main road where you can access transport to where ever you want to go ..the apartment was very clean plus there were everything available ..if you wanted to cook and do other things .. my group love the place ..

Very roomy apartment with excellent bedroom A/C. Nice kitchen and hot showers. So quiet and such comfortable sleeping! Good wi-fi. It's really close to the airport, which I wanted, but not much is around the apartment building. There's an extremely limited grocery store 5 min. away, but not many options. I asked Janelle, the manager, for contacts on seeing the island and she recommended Romain and Felix. Both had great English, were reliable, and warm. Excellent stay as long as you are aware of how to get around. I spent a whole day being driven along the leeward side of the island, saw where the first Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed, and the scenic Dark View Falls. Then the next day, I took a ferry to Bequia, another island only 45 min. away with nice beaches and many restaurants. If you do take the ferry, turn right when you disembark and walk along the coastline to see the beautiful houses and stop for lunch at one of them. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights/2 full days in Kingstown, once I knew how to safely get around. Thank you, Janelle!

Location was away from town, but fine with a taxi. Roads are narrow and 2 lanes with limited space to walk, so I didn't do much walking except to the small market nearby, Diamond's. There are many bigger supermarkets farther away.

I cant complain about anything

Very clean and comfortable apartment with the most helpful host. I got easily there from the airport by local bus. Also you can get bus to Kingstown and the Wharf. Host was kind enough to let me use the washing machine, which i absolutely needed after 16 days of island hopping with carry on only.

I didn't had time to spend but there's full kitchen equipment and nice balcony to relax

Making breakfast was great, watching movies and sitting on the patio it was home for me.

I did my own cooking,the location is okay public transport right outside property,if you want to use it,local supermarket just 5 minutes walk.Beaches are not near,if you need a good beach you have to travel to it.

The apartment was very clean,and the quietness of the place,the host she was at hand when i send a text message, she is a very busy person.with family to see too as well.Very help full when i was not feeling well the last week of my stay,at 80 years now had a bit of a throat problem.

Eine blitzsaubere und super ausgestattete Unterkunft🤗 Gastgeberin war sehr nett und ich dürfte auch paar Stunden länger bleiben weil mein Flieger ist am Abend ging.

The host was very kind. She suggested a driver which provided access to travel around town. A car is necessary to get around. Taking the bus was a bit scary. I don't recommend.. However it might be an option to a guest if you are not afraid to go on a roller coaster ride.

I did not like that there was no air central throughout the unit. AC was only limited to the bedroom area. That was the only inconvenience.

Host was very friendly - felt like I know her for a while. The place was clean, welcoming and more than I expected.

Excellent hospitality service. The manager was very warm and welcoming. Very clean, neat, and tidy accommodation. Easy access to transportation and supermarket. Very quiet and private.

I stayed 3 nights and was 100% pleased with my choice. The apartment is spacious and the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could want. Everything was immaculate, so clean. The shower was great, never any issues with hot water. Wifi worked perfectly. Loved the big balcony and the view. Location-wise it's only 4.5km to the airport and there's a supermarket and ATM (which worked, unlike the lone machine at the airport) just a few minutes walk away. Even though you're 12km away from Kingstown it's not an issue as there always seems to be a van passing by every two or three minutes, just flag 'em down. It costs EC$3.50 to town, far better (and way more interesting!) than the island's pricey taxis. The owner is so nice and very quick with communication, for check-in she provided a door code and we met the following morning. In summary this place was great and really enhanced my quick visit to St Vincent and I'd definitely stay again.

This was not a problem for me but the apartments are located on the main road and while traffic is not constant it could be an issue for those sensitive to noise.

We got everything we needed in the vacinity and the host provided excellent services. It was safe and private. I recomment Golden Palms to all visitors, friends and family.

The property was as described. Janelle was an excellent host and was very responsive and accommodating. Pictures matched what we saw in person.

The water pressure for the sink in our apartment was very low. The bathroom door also wouldn't stay open so we had to stop it with the rug.

The location was excellent close to the airport, beaches, supermarket and restaurant. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The view is spectacular. The bed's are very comfortable. They have air-conditioning, a laundry room and kitchen with every necessary appliance including a blender. A bus to town is very easy to catch from that location. Two supermarkets are very close by - one walking distance and one a short bus ride.

There is nothing

Great communication with the host. Perfect location in Diamond, close to the airport, easy access to supermarkets, bars, and restaurants.The room was so modern and clean. Bed was really comfortable. The air conditioning was great! The view from the room was fabulous. Felt like home away from home, We’ll definitely be staying here again.

The location was close to the airport, groceries and also my favourite beach, Brighton saltpond and it was close to the main road as well

My mattress, I like firm mattresses and the one in my bed was not as firm as the others.

Our host Janelle was there to greet us and make sure that we were settled in. She gave us useful tips on where to eat and places to visit. The island is very beautiful and my husband, son, and I had a blast. Will definitely recommend.

If it wasn't for some drawbacks in the location of this property, we'd have given it a resounding 10. The apartment itself is spacious and excellently equipped with kitchen equipment, washing machine, air-conditioning in the bedrooms, a great shower with plentiful hot water, TV (Netflix) and Wi-Fi. The host is attentive, friendly and helpful... as is her mum!

Without a car you are stuck with needing to get taxis as the road is very busy and there are no restaurants in walking distance. There are buses during the day, but we found the overcrowding and speed a bit daunting.

It was a lovely apartment right on the main road. Host was there to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed. It was very comfortable in every way.

The location is ideal for easy access into the city and also family days out around the island,The facilities inside of the apartment makes you feel very much at home, as a guest you also have got your own balcony to breathe in the early morning fresh air, supermarkets are very close by at walking distance.

more emphasis needs to be put into security although there are some implementation which has been made to reassure guest it is not fully functional as I would like.
