There was a random chicken that kept crowing all day. I didn’t notice, but my girlfriend was driven crazy by it.

Reviewed May 14, 2023Probably couldn't be a better positioned guesthouse, not far up a small hill and convenient entrance on street 21, close to the best Lakeside cafes and restaurants. The desk and chair requested gave me an excellent place from which to work, with commanding views overlooking the lake. I received a great deal for the top-floor room. Hot water was good. Bed was comfortable.
This lowered my score for an otherwise wonderful week's stay, but the Booking Office repeatedly was pushy about money, and ripped me off. This included charging an extra Rs200 for bus tickets, that were clearly less (and my friend paid the correct price elsewhere), and a substantial price request for a half-day scooter rental. May this review teach the young manager, that it pays to be honest, and for a few hundred rupees, probably cost the property more in the end.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2023The Location of Lake Vision overlooking the Lake is just fabulous. There are so many good cafes bars and restaurants and just across the road and along the waterfront. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I've stayed here a several times in the past and would not consider anywhere else in Pokhara
