Kaiz Hostel

How organized and accommodating the owner couple are, (Nash and Diana) from arrival to departure. They were very helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. I like the quiet environment too. Price is okay and within the budget. Location is okay for me as I love walking but it's not that far from the center too by me meaning of walking. Bonus during my stay was my roommates are all good, get well with each other and shared stories their stories and experience too.

It's not necessary as you can have breakfast around the area. But it would be nice to have one in the property.:).

The owner of the place is genuinely helpful. He is happy to share not only information, but also his knowledge, experience, and everything he knows. The place is also conveniently located, close to all the main activities and attractions.

They don’t provide a toothbrush, towels, or shampoo, while places of a similar level probably provide these amenities.

מקום מעולה! חדר דורמס מרווח ונקי , במקום משופץ הכל חדש יש מזגן שעובד טוב ומים חמים במקלחת מיקום מעולה צוות ממש נחמד ומסביר פנים ממליצה מאוד מאוד על ההוסטל הזה - המחיר ממש טוב והתמורה מצויינת.

Die Familie die das Hostel verwaltet lebt direkt nebenan und ist für Fragen immer erreichbar. Sie haben mir Tipps gegeben, mir den Shuttle zum Flughafen organisiert und loch vieles mehr! Ich war wirklich sehr zufrieden im Hostel und habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt. Es war sehr sauber und Preis Leistung war super!

J’ai passé un très bon séjour dans l’hostel de Nash. Il a vraiment été très gentil et m’a aidé pour les réservations des tours sur l’île ainsi que pour les taxis. Il y a une fontaine à eau à disposition, du café, et il met à disposition chaque matin des pandesals tout chauds ☺️. L’hostel est très propre et se trouve en plein centre. Je recommande !

The room was so spacious and clean! I loved that a towel was included (it was also such a high quality, comfy towel). The owner Nash is so helpful and kind with everything! I needed to go to the ferry port in the morning and he tried to call a tricycle for me, and when he couldn’t get a hold of anyone he literally went on his motorbike to find someone on the street to take me! Highly recommend staying here!

Nothing - fyi the lightbulb by the bed has a dim setting even when you turn off the light but you just have to twist the bulb and it’ll turn off completely. I didn’t know this my first night so it bothered my sleep but then I asked the owner about it and he told me and it was fine after!

I really liked this hostel. Super clean and great air conditioning. I loved that the showers, toilets, and sinks were all separate, so technically everyone could be using the bathroom at the same time. Owners were also super friendly. I would definitely stay here again, if I were back in Coron

Alles sehr schön und modern, vor allem für philippinische Verhältnisse. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Viele Touristen nehmen von Coron aus ein Flugzeug oder Boot zur Weiterreise und müssen dementsprechend früh morgens oder sogar nachts aufstehen (ich selbst auch). Obwohl sicherlich alle bemüht waren, leise zu sein, wurde man dennoch ein wenig beim Schlafen gestört. Dafür kann aber das Hostel nichts.

Clean dorm, enjoyed my stay

A convenient place to stay with helpful and kind staff when you cross over with them. Filtered water available in the reception area, games available in the common area and well planned bathrooms for the room.

Only one room in the hostel, so not a particularly large group for social interaction, the street it is on is not well lit at night.

We really enjoyed our stay, facilities really clean. Owners were friendly and helpful with booking airport transfer and doing our laundry for us.

Echt een topverblijf gehad bij Kaiz Hostel in Coron!!! Bij aankomst word je super vriendelijk ontvangen door Chique, je voelt je direct welkom. Ik sliep in de mix dorm met 12 bedden, kamer is zeer groot en er is echt ruimte tussen de bedden, waardoor het niet benauwd voelt. De bedden hebben goede afsluitbare gordijnen voor privacy, een fijn matras en goede kussens. De deken was voor mij persoonlijk iets te dik, maar dat is natuurlijk per persoon verschillend. Er zijn handige oplaadpunten bij je bed en de airco houdt de kamer heerlijk koel. Let wel op: er blijft 's nachts een klein lampje branden in de kamer, dus dat is even wennen. Buiten de kamer zijn er 2 douches, 2 wc’s en 2 wastafels die goed schoon worden gehouden. De dame die de kamer schoonmaakt en de was doet, is elke ochtend ontzettend vrolijk! Ik heb hier ook mijn was laten doen: goede prijs en het rook echt heerlijk. Verder is de tuin een fijne plek om te zitten. Er zijn drankjes en broodjes beschikbaar en je kunt zelf koffie en thee pakken. Qua locatie ligt het in een leuke lokale buurt op ongeveer 10-15 minuten lopen van het centrum. Hierdoor is het 's nachts ook echt heerlijk rustig. Ook de transfer naar het vliegveld regelen ze perfect voor je. Absoluut een aanrader voor wie rust, ruimte en een vrolijke service zoekt in Coron!!! Bedankt aan het hele team voor de gastvrijheid en de fijne sfeer.

The hostel is well located and has good facilities. The staff exceeded my expectations and are incredibly helpful.

The only downside is the water heat for showers but everything else is perfect

Un merveilleux dortoir, très grand et spacieux, confortable (rideau, lit, coussin, clim, lumière, prises, grands placards à valises sous les lits), très propre et tout neuf, avec des douches et wc séparés très propres, lavabo avec serviette et savon à disposition, petit salon à l'accueil, grande terrasse avec tables pour manger, de quoi étendre son linge dehors. En prime un service de blanchisserie rapide et pas cher sur place (350 pesos les 6kg), accueil très gentil. Fontaine à eau fraîche à l'accueil et petits pains offerts le matin. Endroit calme près de nombreuses ruelles commerçantes avec restaurants à proximité (un resto de grillades pas loin, boulangerie). Une super adresse à recommander !

Nos sentimos em casa aqui. Tudo muito limpo, muito bem cuidado e anfitriões muito atenciosos. Toda manhã tinha algum pão para comermos e tinha água, chá e café disponíveis também. A localização é tranquila, sem o caos do centro, com restaurantes próximos. Com certeza recomendamos.

Dortoir très bien pensé et spacieux. Lits confortables. Grands lockers. Sanitaires toujours propres. Personnel très gentil et serviable. Bon emplacement, assez central mais loin du bruit de la rue principale.

Everything was great. From the host - Naz - to the amenities and cleanliness of Kaiz Hostel, it's an amazing experience. I came with my wife and 9 friends, and everyone were happy about the accommodation and the facilities. We arrived late evening, but he waited for us and warmly welcomed everyone to his charming hostel. He waited until we all get settled, had dinner, and retired to our comfy beds. We left early the following day to catch our ferry to El Nido. Naz was very thoughtful and gifted us two bags of warm newly baked pandesal (local buns), what a treat. He was very responsive in all of my correspondences with him in WhatsApp. I will go back to his place, and I recommend it to all travelers who don't mind meeting other travelers.

I could not think of anything. We felt so secure and safe in this hostel.

הייתה לי חוויה ממש מוצלחת ! המיקום של ההוסטל מעולה,קרוב לרחוב הראשי,בתי קפה מסעדות וכו׳. יש מרחב משותף לשבת בחוץ חוץ מהחדרים החדר גדול ומרווח,המיטה נוחה ויש מנורה ומקום אחסון גדול לתיקים. ואפילו מקום לטלפון. ההוסטל מספק מגבת למקלחת השירותים והמקלחות מופרדים!! פשוט מקל -איזה כייף ! הכל נקי מסודר,תמיד יש נייר טואלט וממש נוח. המקלחות והשירותים בתוך החדר אז לא צריך לצאת. הבעלים של המקום הם אנשים מקסימים!!! עוזרים בהכל, תזמינו מהם כל מה שאתם צריכים (אקפסדישן,טיולים הם יודעים הכי טוב) יש בבקרים תה וקפה ומים וגם מאפים טעימים !

אפשר אולי להוסיף ווים בשירותים למי שמחליף בגדים

Very warm welcoming hosts, both husband and wife & helpful Such a super clean place & lots of space in the dorm. Very very comfortable beds The showers were soo good- water pressure & had outside space too to dry your wet clothes They provided tea and coffee unlimited & in the morning sone sort of bread roll which was sooo yummy You also get towel & slippers for indoor use It’s less than 20mins walk from the ferry & less than 10mins walk into the main town area

The staff is amazing, and even though I haven't made use all their services at end, they staff was always responsive, present and helpful! Thank you so much! Place is quite central but out of the noises, beds are very comfy. The dorms are kept organised because they Ask you to keep stuff in the lockers which are quite big and they provide slippers for the room ..all was good!:)

The bed lights never switch off completely so at night can be a bit annoying if you prefer darkness. Bathroom are a bit outdated and maybe not sparkling clean, but it wasn't too bad either.

Perfect hostel! The owner Nash makes sure everything is right for the guests. The dorm and the facilites are clean, the bed is comfy and the vibe is very positive. There is free coffee and snacks in the morning.

The hosts really made our time here great - chatty, patient & more than happy to help with anything we needed. The room and showers / toilets were spacious, really clean, and organised, with everything you needed (hooks, hangers, power socket, curtains, lights etc). The social areas were fantastic and complimentary bread, water, tea & coffee was a lovely touch.

Exceptional behaviour by the hosts and were really helpful. Facilities are top notch. Complimentary bread and coffee in the morning. All other facilities such as laundry, motorbike rental, tours, airport transfers are available.

Super Hostel in Coron. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und sprechen alle Gäste mit Namen an. Während meines Aufenthalts hat das Hostel das 1-jährige Bestehen gefeiert und es gab gratis Frühstück für alle. Ansonsten gibt es Wasser, Kaffee, Tee und kleines Gepäck jeden Tag. Die Dusche, Schließfächer, Außenbereich und Klimaanlage waren sehr gut. Die Lage ist auch in Ordnung, in wenigen Minuten ist man an der Hauptstraße von Coron, bekommt aber von der Lautstärke nichts mit. Die Besitzer sind super hilfsbereit und unterstützen bei Tourenbuchungen, Roller oder Laundry. Sie haben auch Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten und Restaurants. Ganz klare Empfehlung - ich hatte einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt hier.

I had a great stay at Kaiz Hostel in Coron. The staff were friendly and very helpful, always ready to assist guests with anything they needed. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. My bunk bed was comfortable, well lit, with two power sockets for charging devices. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which made it easy to stay connected. The location is excellent within walking distance of nearby stores, restaurants, and tour operators, making it very convenient for exploring Coron. The nightly rate is also great value for what you get. Kaiz Hostel offers useful services such as tour arrangements, airport shuttle transfers, and laundry. They also provide a simple breakfast in the morning, including bread and tea, which is a nice touch. The owners who run the hostel do a spectacular job, creating a welcoming and well organized place to stay. I would easily recommend Kaiz Hostel you won’t regret staying here.

This was my first hostel experience and Kuya Nash and family made this experience very promising. They will treat you like a family and will respond to any request you have. I had a really good chat with Kuya Nash and he suggested me good spots and areas to socialize. If I come back to Coron I will book my stay here again without a doubt. The location is far enough from downtown noise but walkable enough to popular spots, which is perfect! If you are still thinking, just save your spot and book a room with Kaiz now, reviews do not lie!

As a first timer the only problem was my first day there was a guy snoring and I couldn’t sleep but this is expected from a hostel, so it’s more of my personal problem not the hostel. But after that night, I slept well for the remaining days.

Nash is the best host ever! So friendly, attentive, and helpful. Very spacious dorm, good privacy with the curtains, free bread and coffe in the morning, free drinking water. Very clean and modern bathroom. Best hostel i've seen in the phillipines!

The owners are very friendly. The room is spacious, there is good storage for the bag, a good amount of space for everyone to dry their clothes and a nice area to hang out.

Kaiz Hostel tiene una ubicación perfecta: es un lugar tranquilo para descansar por las noches y está a solo 2 minutos a pie del centro. Las instalaciones son bonitas, funcionales y están impecablemente limpias. El personal es muy amable y atento. Sin duda, el hostel más acogedor que he encontrado. ¡Muy recomendable! 🌿

Le dortoir est impeccable, climatisation,des lits confortables, beaucoup d’espace. Un gros point positif sur les deux propriétaires, ils sont d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, à l’écoute, très amicaux, arrangent et ultra serviables. Je les remercie encore une fois pour avoir rendu mon passage aussi agréable a coron !

Franchement, on a passé un très bon séjour ! Les propriétaires sont vraiment adorables et arrangeants, pour demander des conseils, réserver notre van etc.. La chambre est super grande, ça laisse de l’espace à tout le monde Les lits et la salle de bain sont très propres RAS C’est à 10mn à pied du centre et c’est safe dans le quartier

Super spacious and homey. Quite area yet close enough from downtown by foot (5 min). Nash always makes the point to check in to make sure everything is in order or if I need anything. Supplied bowls and plates to cater to my needs when I make meals (breakfast & supper). Free coffee tea & drinking water. Super clean. Hot water with good pressure. Air cond is excellent, super quiet. Big lockers and indoor slippers provided along with towels. Dorms beds are very well laid out, have all a backpacker would need. They even provided 2 hangers if you want to hang anything. Wet clothes can hang at the courtyard. When Nash is away, he had his assistance to look after the property, and I felt super secure. Extended one night. Probably one of the best dorms out there in Coron or even in the Philippines. Don’t think so much and just book. You won’t regret it.

One thing not good was the shower. The water pressure was too low but i think he will fix it soon!

The location was perfect (quiet and not a party place). It took me around 7-10 minutes to walk to the town center and look for restaurants. I prefer it that way since I enjoy walking. Nash and his family took care of me and my needs during my stay. The hostel is cozy and always spotless. The hostel made a tour reservation for me and took care of my van transfer to the airport. Laundry service is also available. Highly recommended!

The staff were very friendly, they helped me book tuktuk and made the boat tours very seamless, they were also very organised and efficient ! Highly recommend !

The water pressure in the shower was not the best

Had such a good night's sleep here! Curtains are almost blackout so no light disturbs you, barely heard a noise inside room, helpful staff, nice cafe (good coffee) on site, free water refills.

Sinks are directly in the dorm so washing hands/face/brushing teeth can be noisy for others in the room. As others have said, the plug socket is above so I had to prop the plug up on things to keep it in place as usb didn't work

One of the cleanest hostels where I have ever been, really appreciated. Nice rooms, comfortable bed and curtain for privacy. Big lockers. Nice common areas to dry clothes and well situated. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recomend this place

Such friendly hosts with loads of experience. Room was so spacious and cleaned regularly. Stayed in 3 hostels in coron over 10 days and this was by far the best. Cute little dogs too! Biggest recommendation I could give is this hostel.
