Villa Kiara

We lived in Villa Kiara for 1.5 months, and it was the best accommodation we could have expected. In fact, we initially moved to Villa Kiara for one week while looking for a long-term apartment. However, we could not find anything suitable that made us want to move out of Kiara, so we stayed there for 1.5 months. Villa Kiara has several advantages. First of all, the hosts are very kind and helpful. Janysha and Vishant asked us every day whether we needed anything. Secondly, the apartment on the second floor was excellent, with two large bedrooms, which are quite rare in Mauritius, a huge porch, and windows facing all four directions. Thirdly, there were many thoughtful and convenient little details, such as soft corners on the furniture, nice décor, compliments from the hosts, travel guidebooks, an araucaria tree near the bedroom windows, a curry tree in the garden, and many other things. What was even more fantastic was that Janysha helped us find a new apartment in Albion through her personal contacts. We had never had such an experience before.

The place was so peaceful and perfect for family the members of staff where so nice and so helpful highly recommend if you would like to have a peaceful and enjoyable stay.we surely be back 😊

L’extrême gentillesse de nos hôtes, le logement spacieux, confortable, calme et très bien équipé, la grande terrasse très agréable et l’emplacement à distance idéale des différents sites de l’île.

Tout ! Magnifique logement très bien équipé, , chambres et terrasse spacieuse, les propriétaires sont très gentils et aux petits soins tout en respectant notre intimité. Je recommande fortement ! ☺️

Die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise. Sehr geräumig und bei der Ausstattung wurde an jedes Detail gedacht. Auch die Küche ist top ausgestattet. Es ist alles sehr sauber und die Möbel, Betten und die Küche in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die Betten sind groß, bequem und mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet. Die große und luftige Terrasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Vom Mangobaum dürfen Früchte gegessen werden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr gastfreundlich, herzlich und geben wertvolle Tipps zu Ausflugszielen und Restaurants. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Ein Highlight war die Einladung zum Essen an Weihnachten.

Uns hat vor allem die außergewöhnliche Gastfreudschaft gefallen. Janysha und Vishant waren jederzeit für Fragen offen und haben uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Durch eine Einladung zu einer hinduistischen Hochzeitszermonie konnten wir die Kultur aus nächster Nähe erfahren. Weiterhin wurden wir auch noch ein zweites Mal zu einem schmackhaften kreolischen Abandessen eingeladen. Die Größe der Ferienwohnung und die große Terasse waren fantastisch. Das Schwimmen im Pool hat uns jederzeits viel Spaß bereitet. Vielen Dank nochmals für alles.

Die Besitzer waren die freundlichsten Gastgeber von Mauritius! Wir waren in vielen Unterkünften an jeder Küste. Selten haben wir so eine Herzlichkeit erfahren. Wir hatten einen Platten am Mietwagen. Hier wurde uns so liebevoll und fürsorglich geholfen. Wir würden auch zum Abendessen eingeladen, welches absolut großartig war! Wir können diese Unterkunft jedem nur empfehlen! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar! Wir sind als Fremde gekommen und als Freunde gegangenen Danke dafür!!

Beautiful apartment with two large bedrooms, spacious kitchen and a huge terrace. Private pool is also lovely. The apartment is very clean and in perfect condition, whereas it is fully equipped with everything you may need (kitchen, bathroom, everything you may think of). It is situated in a quiet residential area of the island, which we appreciated for relaxation and quiet nights (and days). It is not far from flic-en-flac beach and we found the location comfortable for day trips to the north, south and east of the island to explore beautiful beaches and the inland. We had read that the hosts are nice and available for everything you may need, but Janysha and Vishant literally exceeded all expectations. We are really happy to have met them, and they made our stay better, as we felt we could rely on them for any possible issue We highly recommend it!

La tranquillité et l'accueil chaleureux des hôtes.

Villa Kiarra is a fully contained self catering holiday home located upstairs above the Host's home. The villa was private , clean , modern & comfortable ( exactly like the photos) and is situated in the local Mauritian village of Albion. This is not a tourist hot spot and we particularly enjoyed the local village atmosphere. Our Hosts Janysha , Vishant & 4 year old Kiarra , were friendly without being intrusive and made us feel completely at home. During our stay Janysha invited us to join her family for a delicious home cooked Mauritian meal - thank you Janysha ;-) You will need a car to get around (local Albion beach 5 minutes, Albion Mall Dodo supermarket 10 minutes) and of course the essential travel guide - Google Maps.

Je recommande très fortement la villa Kiara. Elle est très agréable moderne et bien équipé. On était deux avec chacune notre chambre et salle de bain un vrai plus pour se préparer. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Notre coup de cœur dans la villa est la grande et belle terrasse ou nous passions de bon moments. La villa est bien située à quelques pas de la plage. Les propriétaires sont très accueillant, toujours disponible, bienveillant et d'une gentillesse incroyable. J'y ai passé de tès bon moments qui me feront de merveilleux souvenirs

Sehr, sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber, die ehrlich an ihren Gästen interessiert waren. Wir haben viele Tipps bekommen und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es mangelte an nichts! Albion ist gut gelegen, um die Insel zu erkunden, insbesondere den Norden, Westen und Süden.

Hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, they even brought us gateaux piments for breakfast and gave me a lift to work throughout our stay. They were also very responsive whenever we had any slight issues, would highly recommend!

The water pressure could be better, but we did report this midway through our stay and they did improve it. Otherwise, no other issues.

Great facilities, very friendly and very helpful hosts. The nearby rocky beach is a little walk away and the sandy public beach further away so a car is useful.

Apartment very well appointed, clean, spacious and every convenience. A lovely swimming pool. We were there over cyclone restrictions and our hosts were incredible. Albion is a peaceful destination compared to some of the more touristy parts. However, has easy access to to surrounding areas and we did some enjoyable walks.

Nothing.. If we hadn’t already booked elsewhere we would have stayed longer.

The place was extremely clean, beautiful, calm and the location was just perfect. The hosts (Janysha and Vishant) were incredible. They gave us recommendations for places such as restaurants, malls, supermarkets etc. We also had the opportunity to have a great dinner with the hosts and the cultural exchange was beyond any words! When we left, they also gave us some goodbye gifts ! The pool was amazing and the view from the top was out of this world (check it during sunset). Please don’t think twice if you plan to stay at Villa Kiara.
