Jacks Place

Country not country. 10 minutes from the city. Hosts were accommodating and welcoming upon getting to the venue. Outlook was peaceful. Stay was awesome with our own goat to welcome us.

What a strike of luck for us to have booked Jack's Place! The cottage is an ideal spot for relaxing. The generous equipment, lovely treats, tasteful decor give you a real home feel. Kim is such a kind and perfect host, and he came to our rescue when we had car trouble.

What a hidden gem! We feel so lucky to have found this place during our week on the north island and it might’ve even been our favourite stay so far as we felt so at home and comfortable. Everything was incredibly clean/tidy and they really thought of everything you might need - even including milk for your morning coffee and a bit of breakfast foods! Was in a great location to access Tauranga/the Mount while still feeling secluded and peaceful. Having an adorable goat was just an added bonus! Would recommend to anyone.

This place is such a treat. Whilst our stay was over a couple of grey, rainy days, the snuggly, cosy atmosphere made for an unforgettable time away. We found ourselves cow and goat watching and managed to get outside when the rain subsided. We loved everything about this place.

What didn't we like??? That we had to leave 😪 Also, the photos don't do this place justice, you'll have to go and see it first hand.

Very friendly host. Private and yet not far from the city. Quiet. Well equipped. Good bed. Ideal for rest. Highly recommended.

Clean modern and beautifully appointed Like the goat Sitting under the stars having a cup of tea in a robe provided was a high light

It's a beautiful little cottage, we were there for the OneLove concert and honestly we didnt want to leave felt at home. The weather wasnt all that but we had a great time. The owners greeted us on our arrival and handed the keys, even offered us a ride to the venue. I look forward to booking again with Jacks Place.

Liked everything. Very cute place in quiet area. Wonderful country views with farm animals, rolling hills and the bay in the background. Daisy the goat is great. Close enough to shopping, eating and beach 10-25 minutes to all.
