Big room / bathroom with a big, comfortable bed. Very quiet especially considering how close the busy road is! Air con and fan worked well. Excellent host - very friendly and welcoming.

No fridge in room. Also no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. No soap in the bathroom for hand washing. The accommodation is located on a very busy road which although you can’t hear when in the property, you have to walk along it to get to restaurants / beach etc. The main tourist bit of Dickwella is actually about 10 min walk east which is much quieter and has more restaurants etc. Still easy to get to but would have preferred to stay within that area as we ended up walking there every day/evening.

Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls lecker. Der Eigentümer bereitet alles selbstständig zu. Außerdem wurden wir von ihm noch bei Tuk Tuk Transferen unterstützt.

La habitación está muy bien, el desayuno está muy rico y el host es muy majo y además nos ha hecho un favor guardándonos las maletas. Muy recomendado, sin duda volvería!

Wir hatten das beste Zimmer in unserem Urlaub hier. Es war alles sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich sehr sehr nett und kümmert sich um alles. Das Hotel ist etwas versteckt in einem Hinterhof, aber genau deswegen hat man dort auch seine Ruhe. Auch das Frühstück war wirklich super und man konnte selber entscheiden wann der Gastgeber es einem zubereitet.

Das einzige Problem, was man aber gut umgehen kann, ist dass es etwas weiter von Restaurants entfernt ist. Auch zum Hiriketiya Strand kann man nicht wirklich laufen aber man kann sich für ca. 400-500 Rupie ein Tuktuk dorthin nehmen also war das eigentlich auch kein Problem

Super clean, comfy bed, great staff. In a very busy area but nicely tucked away. Laundry services available which was great.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. One of the best rooms we stayed in during our time in Sri Lanka. The property looks very new and the room has got all the facilities that you need for your stay. The host is very friendly and always available. They offer extra services such as cold water bottles or laundry for a very reasonable price. Breakfast is simple but good and has some variation. We could park our Tuktuk on the premises. The place is located next to a very busy street but you do not hear any noice, which is perfect. The walk to the beach takes approximately 10 minutes and Hiriketiya is approximately a 15 minute walk.

Coffee or tea during breakfast would be a good addition.

The breakfast was great, but it was too much for us. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was good.

It would have been nice if there had been a power socket close to the breakfast area. When you are working during your holiday, it would be nice to have your laptop charged and not have to work in your room where there is a power socket.

Beautiful little backyard villa with great rooms and nice big bathroom. Very clean! The owner was incredible kind and helpful and he served the most delicious breakfast :) Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Very well presented, modern and clean bedroom and bathroom. Decent breakfast, good air conditioning and very good communications from the helpful owner. Very comfortable bed, and a quiet night's sleep despite being in the centre of Dickwella.

The property is described as "beachfront", and "90m from the beach", neither of which are accurate. The property is actually in the middle of Dickwella town which is a bustling (non-touristy) area full of local shops and businesses. The property is at the end of a small alley full of local shops, but somehow manages to be quiet. The biggest issue is that the property is not "beachfront". The nearest access to Dickwella beach is about 5 minutes walk away, though that part of the beach is not used and has no facilities. It is then another 5-10 minute walk to reach the "nice" beach (with facilities). The property is lovely, but should not be advertised as beachfront, nor 90m from the beach.

The king size bed was the most comfortable I had during my 2 month stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts are super sweet and caring and we really enjoyed our stay here.

This place is a real hidden gem! The owners are so welcoming and friendly and the breakfast each morning was SO good! Everything was spotlessly clean and modern and the room had everything you need in terms of AC, plugs by the bed etc. The location is also perfect, right next to dikwella beach and only a short walk down to Hiriketiya beach. 100% recommend!!

Cleanest place we have been so far in Sri Lanka. Very nice host and good breakfast. The location is great. Middle of Dickwella, but located in the end of a quiet ally, so no trafic noise when you are sleeping. We had a wonderful stay with great value for money.

Location is a bit further from the main beach in Hiriketiya. The beach that's closeby wasn't very clean.

Hidden Gem by the Beach This guesthouse is a hidden gem, just a stone’s throw from the beach. The location was perfect—peaceful and less touristy, making it a great spot to relax without the crowds. The breakfast was excellent, and the host was very welcoming and attentive. Overall, a fantastic stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet beach getaway! Great find as we had a last minute change to the itinerary

This was the best little hotel I stayed at on my trip to Sri Lanka! The room and bathroom were both super clean, great hot water in the shower with great pressure, and AC that blasted cold. The owner was absolutely lovely and communication was easy. Breakfast every morning was different and plentiful, honestly one of the best parts of the stay. 10 minute walk from Dickwella beach and restaurants in the area. Would absolutely stay here again and would 100% recommend.

The room was in good condition and clean, the owner was very friendly and helpful and the location was good. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only small minus was that there were no mosquito nets around the bed. There were not many mosquitoes since the room had a repellent device, but I would’ve still preferred to have the net as well. Otherwise nothing negative to mention.

Really felt like home! A clean room, nice bed and good shower. Everything is clean and new. Airco works well. Location is good. Wifi was really good Breakfast was nice and the man that runs the place is the sweetest. On the nighttime of the day that we arrived I randomly got really sick and fainted at night. He immediately was at our door to help, brought me medicine and fruit from the market and made sure I was okay. He really helped us a lot.

It was a beautiful room that was very maintained and clean. Bathroom was really good with a nice shower with good water pressure. The owners were very welcoming and so so nice.

The location was in a busy street, nothing that really bothered us because it was still just a 5 minute walk to the beach.

We have stayed 3 nights, it was lovely experience. Owners are really nice and friendly people. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and brand new. Breakfast was extensive too. Highly recommend this place. They gave us small surprise at the end :) Very grateful for that.

Incredibly friendly host, great value for money. Room is clean, spacious and surprisingly quiet considering it’s it right in the centre of Dikwella. 5 minute walk from Dikwella beach and around 20 to Hirikiteya obviously made shorter with a Tuk Tuk ride and costing between 300-500LKR.

Little hard to find (look for a blue gate at the end of road between lots of shops). WiFi wasn’t great if more than one person connected at one time.

We couldn’t find it at first. You have to enter a door, to find it. But therefore it’s very calm, which you wouldn’t expect due to the main road next to it:)
