Reviewed May 3, 2026Caly obiekt był bardzo ładny i czysty, zarowno części wspólne jak i pokoje. Pokoje duże i ładne, w każdym pokoju jest szafka na ubrania i kilka wieszaków oraz stolik, duże wygodne łóżko i wentylator. Łazienka jest wspólna, niestety w Port Barton jest problem z ciśnieniem wody więc prysznic nie działa i trzeba sie umyć z wiadra tak samo ze spłuczką w toalecie używa się wiadra do spłukiwania (a przynajmniejw damskiej toalecie, w meskiej podobno czesto działa wiec prawdopodobnie zalezy od dnia). Nam to akurat nie przeszkadzało ale jeśli jest to dla ciebie ważne warto to wziąść pod uwagę. Są też przerwy w dostawie prądu więc rano niestety nie ma i wraca po poludniu i wieczorem. Jak dla nas bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny dodatkowym atutem jest świetna lokalizacja, a presonel jest mily :)

C’est très très vétuste, il n’y a aucune pression dans la douche donc obligé de se laver au sceau. Il n’y a aucune fenêtre juste des rideaux, le logement est situé dans la rue principale donc beaucoup de bruit la nuit (chiens, scooter, personnes qui parlent) bref c’est compliqué de dormir. Le sol n’était pas très propre.

I liked everything, but just be aware that there is not hot water and the rooms are not soundproof, but it is not something that bothered me at all :)

Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Been travelling the Philippines for 3 months and this has been by far the best stay. Great location, only a few minutes walk to the beach. The BEST host - so friendly and helpful. Helped book our island hopping tour and bus to el nido. She saw me plucking my bfs eyebrows and got her sister who did his eyebrows and cut his hair and such a good job! Beds are really comfy, only has a fan but the evenings are cool and some nights we didn’t even have the fan turned on.

Wir wären gern geblieben aber die karaoke bar nebenan war für uns ältere Damen etwas zu laut. Es gibt keine Fensterscheiben sondern nur Mücken Gitter an den Fenstern. Und das schöne Hotel liegt an einer lauten Straße.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026La terrasse du dernier étage qui surplombait la rue principale. La localisation proche de tout. Le lit confortable, la douche froide au seau chaque matin était un point positif. Le personnel sympa. Bon rapport qualité-prix dans l’ensemble.
Les clients espagnols et français qui parlaient jusqu’à 3-4h du matin, les murs sont en bois fins.. Pas de moustiquaires.

Gemeenschappelijke douche had vaak geen water, was ook niet schoon. Toiletpapier ontbrak vaak. Kamer was gehorig. Van vriendelijkheid personeel hebben wij niets gemerkt, men had alleen aandacht om excursies te verkopen.

Este lugar no es solo un hotel, es hogar. Desde que llegas te hacen sentir parte de la familia y te regalan mil historias que se quedan contigo para siempre! Reviewed Jan 20, 2026Hostel simple et sans chichi dans le standing à PortBarton. On avait une chambre au dernier étage il faisait vraiment chaud de dans. Pas de clim ici, pas d'eau chaude , pas d'eau courante 24/7, douche au saut.. Loterie ok. Wifi ok. Les parties communes ok sans grands confort, propreté oksanq être un wow. Personnel hyper discret on les a à peine vu entendu.

Aucune insonorisation. Les fenêtres ne ferment pas. Mur en papier mâché. WC salle de bain commune très vétuste, ça donne vraiment pas envi. La guest house manque clairement d'entretien, notamment l'extérieur quand on entre. La propriétaire n'a soit pas l'argent, soit pas la volonté d'améliorer son établissement.

My friend was unwell during our stay and they brought her calamansi tea and medication to help, which was very sweet and much appreciated! The rooms were spacious and the chill-out area was lovely (the hammocks were great). Location was fab - lots of tasty restaurants nearby and walking distance to the beach.
It can be a little noisy in the evening being near the roads but we slept absolutely fine with earplugs. Thank you having us 💛

Reviewed Jan 27, 2025Absolutely wonderful staff and the people of Port Barton are the best from the dive shop to the restaurant Denmark, just had a great time.
Fan could have been a little more powerful. Location is on a very loud street and it was a little difficult to sleep unless you were drunk. Really loud motorbikes going by all night, not the fault of the hostel, just the truth about the street.

Reviewed May 18, 2024Very homely, relaxing place to stay. Great value, I had my own room at the price of a dorm bed elsewhere. Drinking water provided and hammocks to relax in. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
There was no water for the shower and toilets had to be flushed manually from buckets. However, I think this is not uncommon in Port Barton due to a water shortage at this time of year.

Description of the "studio with balcony" is just a scam. Studio means an unit with own kitchenette and bathroom. Here you get small room with a bed and table only. Bathroom is shared on different floor (there's no info in room description about shared bathroom, even if it's possible to choose), balcony is outside of the room to use for everybody. On the lower floor you can make a coffee (if there's still hot water) so please, change your description as it's definitely not a studio what you offer!!! Window has no glass, just a mosquito net so everything what happens on the street may wake you up... also if someone is on "your" balcony it's just right next to your window. There's one man, one woman bathroom for 5 rooms so it might be busy in the morning. WiFi is quite poor.

Very thin walls, have to have luck with your neighbors! Lots of mosquitoes (glad I brought my own mosquito net) no running water in the afternoon and not the best/most stable internet connection but I guess that counts for all of Port Barton?

It's within walking distance of everything, but not too noisy from the local bars and restaurants. I stayed in a single room on the top floor which was small but fine for a night or 2.
The stairs up to my room were quite narrow and had to be navigated in the night to use the toilet. The street was very noisy with roosters and dogs in the night.
