Everything ,I would recommend anyone to stay there

had the most amazing time here with my dad. I’m 26 years old, and this was honestly the best holiday we have ever had together. It is a family-run business, and you can truly feel how much love, care and attention they put into making your stay special. The entire place: our room, the pool, the restaurant and every other area, was incredibly clean. Probably the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed at. The people are some of the kindest and most welcoming we have ever met. The surroundings, the views and the entire atmosphere feel so luxurious and almost unreal. When you are lying by the pool and looking around, it honestly feels like you are in a movie or a travel magazine. They also gave us the best recommendations for trips and experiences. Thanks to them, we made unforgettable memories: beautiful and unique places for dinner, an amazing catamaran trip and so many other special experiences. Everything felt exclusive and carefully chosen, and these are memories we will keep for a lifetime. The accommodation is also amazing for people with disabilities, like me. We had a room downstairs, everything was close by, there were no long distances to walk, and they were always incredibly helpful with arranging taxis or helping us get wherever we wanted to go. This made the whole holiday so much easier and more relaxing for me. The atmosphere around the pool is perfect. It is peaceful and quiet, but there are still enough people around to have a nice chat or enjoy a drink with. You get the perfect balance between having some company and enjoying complete peace and relaxation. And another big plus: no fighting for sunbeds! There was always plenty of space. We actually didn’t even want to leave the accommodation to go sightseeing because we were already so happy just being there. That probably says everything. An unforgettable place, run by wonderful people. We left with the most beautiful memories and really didn’t want to go home.

מקום משפחתי וחמים, משפחה מדהימה. אנשים מאוד מאוד שירותיים, אדיבים ועושים הכל באהבה ובחיוך. דימיטריס הוא יחיד ומיוחד! בן אדם מדהים דואג לכל דבר שצריך, נותן יחס אישי לכל אחד מהאנשים כאילו הם חלק מהמשפחה. ארוחות הבוקר עשירות מאוד, גם מי שבוחר לקנות כאן דברים נוספים למשל ארוחת ערב וגלידה הכל טעים פה הבישול ביתי. אני שומרת כשרות ועשו הכל לעזור לי, הכינו לי דג בגריל שהוא רק לדגים ועטוף בנייר כסף. במרחק הליכה לטיילת הוא 5 דקות בערך. כל יום מנקים את החדרים, מה שהכי מאפיין את המקום הוא שירות עם חיוך. המלון לגמרי שווה כל ביקורת טובה שנתנו לו, אפילו ממעיט מהמלון המדהים הזה. הוא יפייפה רחוק מכל הרעש וההמולה והיחס הזה לא רגיל!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The owner is incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming, always ready to help — whether it was arranging a taxi, recommending excursions or helping us choose a yacht trip. The whole team is kind, attentive and genuinely caring. Our room was cleaned every day and everything was always spotless. And the breakfasts deserve a special mention — honestly, the best breakfasts we have ever had on holiday! Everything was fresh, beautifully served and made with so much care: freshly baked croissants and pastries, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, and such generous portions that we could never finish everything. You can really feel that this hotel is run with heart. We felt so welcome and comfortable here and left with only the best memories. We would absolutely recommend it and would be very happy to come back again! ❤️

Migliorerei la frequenza di pulizia della piscina. In aggiunta, il fatto che sia una struttura a conduzione familiare porta lo staff a interagire con i clienti in maniera molto espansiva. Il terrazzino della camera è di dimensione ridotta

La prestation de l'hotel est très qualitative..L'emplacement est vraiment très bien, proche de la plage et du centre ville. Les chambres sont très propres et soignées. Le personnel est très sympathique, à notre écoute. Les repas sont t excellents ainsi que les petits déjeuners. Merci à toute l'équipe, nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel familial et chaleureux à taille humaine.

We’ve just returned from 4 nights at the Amara suites. The apartments are spotless and located near to the beach and restaurants. Also a mini mart and access to local bus. Never any problem getting a lounger round the pool which is always a big plus. Best of all was the owner Dimitros, always doing everything he could to make us feel special. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Should have stayed longer.

We had a lovely week at Amara with my partner. Convenient peaceful location near the Kamari beach and restaurants, exceptional attentive staff, lovely atmosphere and design along with high quality food - truly a perfect spot for a relaxed romantic getaway. Our lovely host Dimitrios also organized memorable activities for us during the week including a katamaran cruise and a trip to a breathtaking winery. We were very happy with our stay, highly recommend! 🌞☺️

A wonderful week spent with the very hospitable Dimitri and family. A quiet resort in Santorini, perfect for relaxing in the sun with family and friends. Rooms are immaculately clean, with fresh beach and bathroom towels provided every day. The pool area has plenty of beds for all to enjoy with comfortable sun loungers. Breakfasts are exceptional, plentiful with a new surprise each day to enjoy. There is also a pool bar with many options. Close to the beach and many other restaurants for you to frequent. Highly recommended.

5-Star ++++ Review for Amara Suites Santorini We just returned from the most magical 9-night stay at Amara Suites in Santorini with my wife, my daughter and I, and it was genuinely one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. We chose it to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday, and what a perfect place it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, Dimitris (the owner) made us feel like we were arriving at a dear friend’s home rather than a hotel. His warm, genuine welcome set the tone for the entire stay. The atmosphere is so inviting and personal — nothing feels corporate or impersonal. It truly feels like you’re being welcomed into someone’s family home, and that warmth never faded. The suites are incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and beautifully appointed. Everything was exactly what we needed after long days exploring the island. The beds were dreamy and the whole property has that perfect blend of traditional Santorini charm with modern comforts. We never once had an issue, and nothing was ever too much trouble for Dimitris and his family. The breakfasts each morning were an absolute highlight! Fresh, delicious, and generous — the kind of spread that makes you excited to wake up. Served to you individually, to variety and quality was fantastic. You could tell everything was prepared with care and love. What really made this place special though was Dimitris and his whole family. They went out of their way to make my daughter’s 16th birthday unforgettable and ensured we all felt looked after. Their kindness, attention to detail, and desire to make sure we were having the best possible time turned a wonderful hotel into an unforgettable experience.

The owner will take care of transportation from the airport and other places you want to visit in Santorini which makes it a prime spot. There is a wonderful pool with plenty of space and a variety of seating. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served here by the owners wife who is an outstanding cook! The room has everything you need to include your own personal jacuzzi!

Dimitri, his son and wife were great hosts! Dimitri treated us like family and gave us great recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants. His wife made amazing homemade breakfast with a plethora of of items. If we needed anything for the room they were very quick at meeting our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer !

Jedno z nejlepších ubytování, co jsem zažila. Pokud se na Santorini vrátím, tak se určitě ubytuji zase zde. Kousek od letiště, mimo dav lidi, parkování před hotelem. Dimitris je neskutečný hostitel. Nápomocný se vším. Pokoj čistý, ručníky vyměňují každý den. A hlavně musím vyzvednout snídani, opravdu excelentní, už večer jsme se na ni těšili. Jedním slovem, velká spokojenost ve všech směrech.

The staff was simply exceptional. Accomodating in every aspect. The room were crisp clean, spacious and very comfortable. Super easy to find, extremely well connected, simply an unmissable spot if you come to Santorini. And dont get me started on the breakfast... So delicious i gained a few pounds!!!

The room was lovely and clean, and the location was great, everything in walking distance.Its a family run business the atmosphere and the welcoming received was so nice you felt like part of the family. Our stay at Amara Suites was simply perfect. We were there as a family, and it was an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. I absolutely recommend this place I loved everything about it! The location was also fantastic very convenient and close to everything we needed.

This family run hotel has all you need & much more. Got a call before we left Ireland to say they would send a car for our collection at the airport. We were checked in by Dimitri (the owner), got a complimentary room upgrade (our own outdoor heated hot tub and balcony). Arrived after 10pm & Dimitri’s wife Eleni stayed up to cook us a home-cooked meal. The standard was set. The food,,,, AMAZING. Everything so fresh, tasty & cooked to perfection. They are particularly proud of their homemade Greek yogurt which is made fresh each day by Eleni she pours natural Greek honey over it & scatters crunchy walnuts on top. This is served with the sweetest freshly squeezed orange juice & a wonderful decent coffee. The cooked breakfast follows and well I’ll let the pictures do the talking there. I had been in Marbella the week before, stayed in a 5* on the beach. The food was so disappointing. I didn’t eat for the week & couldn’t bring myself to drink the cheap coffee, it ruined my stay, so you can imagine my complete happiness when I travel to Santorini the following week and I see that there are still people in the world that love good food. Eleni herself has 30 years experience as head chef & you can tell. If it’s good food that makes you happy then you have to stay here. Greek Cuisine is currently the best in the world so no better time to visit. My other comfort excluding hotel furnishings was in the hygiene & immaculate cleanliness. Every single thing spotless. Such comfort of mind. Always a good sign when you can look into an open plan kitchen& see your food being cooked. All our daily plans were actioned by Dimitri, he was like our personal tour operator. He organised a sunset boat trip with a BBQ & drinks, a buggy to tour the Island & he had his driver to hand for any journeys we took to Fira & Oia.

It's close to the beach yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle enough, so you can get a good nights sleep. Nette kleine Anlage mit sauberen Zimmern. Wir waren in der Nebensaison und es war super ruhig. Der Hotelchef, sowie seine Frau waren sehr freundlich. Reichliches Frühstück am Tisch. 15min vom Flughafen entfernt. Nur 5min zum Strand mit vielen Restaurants, Bars, Supermärkte.

Der Jakuzzi war für uns leider zu kalt im Oktober. Der Chef hat ihn aber für uns wärmer gestellt, nachdem wir ihn danach fragten.

From the moment we stepped over the threshold, nothing was too much trouble for Dimitri who went out of his way to ensure that every moment of our stay was perfect. The room was large, airy and spotlessly clean and we particularly enjoyed the private jacuzzi on our patio. There was also a large communal pool which looked enticing but we didn’t have time to use it on this trip. Maybe next time! The delicious breakfast is also worth a mention: a large variety of fresh local food is individually served and is more than you can possibly eat. In fact on the day we left we took the excess for both lunch and tea for our journey home! I don’t think I have ever had such an amazing breakfast and I have travelled a lot! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends back home. Thank you for making us so welcome Dimitri and family!

We had a king suite, we loved the room and outdoor terrace, room was spacious, very comfortable bed, very clean, outside we had hot tub with sun loungers, table and chairs with some lovely plants/trees on terrace, we felt everything in room was luxury quality and loved the decor. The hotel pool is also fabulous, clean with comfortable loungers. Breakfast was amazing, with variety served each day, we thought the food was very good and high quality. Family run hotel, staff are lovely and helpful, Dimitris is keen to ensure you enjoy your stay at hotel & in Santorini, arranged transfers and can arrange trips etc. We will definitely return, in our opinion this is most welcoming hotel we have ever stayed at and thought the hotel was beautiful

We had a really pleasant stay here. Our host, Dimitri, was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he made us feel right at home. I had a small incident where I misplaced the room key, but he was very understanding and cool about it, which we really appreciated. One small tip for future guests: be extra careful with the safe key, as it’s the only one. Luckily, I found it after misplacing it, but worth keeping in mind. Overall, a great experience with a very kind host—would definitely recommend!

Our room was spacious and has everything we needed in it, it was cleaned everyday to an excellent standard. The bar and pool area is beautiful and a great place to relax. Dimitris and all the staff at Amara Suites are so lovely, they made us feel welcome and were always so helpful and kind! We had friends and family also staying in Kamari and they were always happy for others to come and visit and have a drink at the bar. The breakfast was also 10/10. We’ll definitely return here!

Dimitris and his team made this holiday exceptional We were welcomed by Demetris late at night due to a lengthy delay with our flight. We were introduced to the whole team, who we felt wanted us to have the best experience. The food was lovely , the breakfasts are delicious . We recieved advice and help about excursions and enjoyed a lovely day trip organised by Demitris and his driver. The room and pool area were exceptionally clean

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt im Amara Suites Santorini und hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel wird familiär geführt und man spürt sofort die herzliche, persönliche Atmosphäre. Alle – die Familie und das gesamte Team – waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets zuvorkommend. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Dimitris, den Eigentümer, der sich persönlich um alles gekümmert hat – sei es um tolle Empfehlungen oder die Buchung unserer Ausflüge. Wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt wie zuhause willkommen gefühlt. Auch die Lage ist perfekt: Der Strand ist nur 2–3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, gleich um die Ecke gibt es einen Quad-, Roller- und Pkw-Verleih, und direkt daneben findet man sogar einen kleinen Mini-Markt – ideal für alles, was man zwischendurch braucht. Zudem wurde auch auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen: Da unser Rückflug später war, durften wir ganz entspannt später auschecken, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Das Frühstück war super und das Zimmer sehr schöne und sauber. Tägliche Reinigung. Mahlzeiten waren auch sehr lecker wie auch die Bar/Drinks. Sehr familiäres und angenehmes Personal. This hotel is well maintained, clean, friendly staff with excellent food and amazing location. The family who runs the restaurant make the restaurant stand out and it provides a welcoming atmosphere. Our group of 14 enjoyed our time in the pool and the proximity to the beach and shopping in the nearby shops. I loved the private pool and jacuzzi as well as the daily room/towell service. The hotel also provided and arranged affordable and safe transportation to multiple locations during our stay in Santorini.

Our favorite was the amazing breakfast, so much so that our group of 14 booked a private dinner to celebrate special birthdays. The chefs at Amara’s prepared a traditional Greek family dinner for all 14 of us. We enjoyed, lamb, chicken gyro, sea bass and shrimp, along with delicious salads and their own wine. All was superb!

My stay was exceptional! The owner Dimitri was very welcoming and accommodating- the family/staff were lovely also. Food was great, I felt very comfortable and my family enjoyed their stay. The room was amazing- so beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were able to have a driver throughout our stay from the hotel- the driver was very kind and overall we had a great holiday. The hotel is very close to Kamari Beach- such as beautiful location. We will be returning. Thank you Amara Suites for a great holiday!!

Dimitris is the best hotel manager. Once you arrive you feel at home. Warm welcome from the beginning until we left. Great breakfast, and we tried a few restaurants in kamari, but the best food was in the hotel !!

A beautiful oasis, feels safe and was very relaxing. A family run hotel which makes all the difference. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Beautiful rooms, delicious dinners and two minute walk from a crystal clear sea.

It was my second stay at Amara Suites and I will definitely come back to the same place again. It is such a beautiful, modern, clean and hospitable place. The family who runs it is so lovely and they make sure You have everything You need. They make you feel like it is Your own home in Greece. The breakfast is great and lunch/dinner is so fresh and more tasty than most of the restaurants by the sea! Location is fantastic. I really loved how clean it was at all times. I really hope to see Dimitri and his family soon again! Thank You for taking care of me and my parents on their 40 yrs wedding anniversary.

Die Unterkunft war außergewöhnlich . Die Ankunft war schon toll. Obwohl wir paar Stunden vor dem offiziellen Checkin da waren , bemühte sich der Chef unser Zimmer so schnell wie möglich zu richten . Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und mit eigenem Whirlpool sehr luxuriös ausgestattet . Sehr gutes Internet im Zimmer . Das kleine familiengeführte Hotel versucht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen . Dimi, der Chef ist sehr aufmerksam und man kann ihn alles fragen . Er hilft bei jedem Anliegen und organisiert auch Transfers . Das Frühstück morgens ist einfach genial und es fehlt nichts .

Everything especially the Staff and all the amazing food

The best thing about the Amara Suites was the amazing hospitality. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The property is well designed and comfortable. The children loved the pool. The breakfast was brilliant and the staff were very considerate and careful with managing my daughter’s food allergies. We will be back!

A stunning oasis of calm with a beautiful pool and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. This family run Boutique hotel is a special place and it’s perfect. Thoughtfully designed landscaping and zen like bedrooms with opulent bedding and room touches . The breakfast was a major event and so clever. You got to eat and try everything. There was no awkward self service and queueing, but instead, a platter of fresh breads, pastries, fruits and all derivatives of eggs, bacon. I am getting hungry as I type. This is THE PLACE to stay on Santorini and my family and I cannot wait to return.

Dimitri (who runs the hotel) and his family are the most accommodating and amazing people we have ever met! The service Dimitri provides is incredible. Every guest wants to spend as much time with him as possible, as he is so personable and fun to be around. Each morning, you are served the best cooked and most generous breakfast I have ever experienced - the food at Amara Suites was better than anything else we had in Santorini. We ended up mainly only eating in the hotel as nothing else could compare!! The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The room is cleaned everyday, fresh towels/bedding and water replenished. The location is perfect walking distance from everything you need (shops/beach/bars/restaurants and perfectly located to have no noise disturbing you at night!

Wunderschönes und gepflegtes Hotel, schöner Pool, sehr gute Lage. Wir hatten ein Jacuzzi-Becken am Balkon - wundervoller Platz zum Entspannen. Sehr bemühte und liebenswerte Gastgeber. Immer frisch zubereitetes und sehr gutes Frühstück/Essen. Schöner Strand mit Liegen. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Amara Suites. The entire property has such a relaxing and calming design — everything feels intentionally created for rest and comfort. The layout of the hotel is especially beautiful, with the suites centered around a serene pool area that becomes the heart of the space for hanging out and eating. It felt peaceful and private, yet inviting and social at the same time. Our room had its own private hot tub, which was such a special touch — perfect for relaxing in the evenings after a day of exploring. The room itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed to be both stylish and with functional AC and mini-fridge. The staff were exceptional — warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. You can tell this is a family-owned hotel by the care and pride they put into every detail; there’s a genuine sense of hospitality throughout.. The food was excellent as well — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The hotel can also arrange car transfers to and from the airport or around the island, so don’t hesitate to reach out to the very friendly and helpful owners for assistance. We left feeling rested, cared for, and already dreaming of coming back.

The property and rooms are exceptional, close to the Kamari beach. Dimitris and his family were incredibly welcoming, offering helpful travel tips and providing excellent breakfast and meals throughout the day. They attentively addressed our family’s requests and accommodated restricted dietary requirements

We simply loved everything about this beautiful, cozy, clean and warm family driven hotel. The rooms are spacious, cleaned by their amazing staff every day and the jacuzzi on the terras was perfect!! Even the shower of the room is perfect!! We didn't have any issues but I am sure that if we would, it would be solved immediately. The pool and terrace are great as well, it's clean and perfect to relax. And then the breakfast and the food..... wauw.... everything which comes out of their kitchen is amazing!!! It is honestly the best food we had on the whole Island, and we been around. And last but not least; Kamari is a perfect location to visit several places on the Island. It is not as hectic and busy as Fira and Oia and does offer enough facilities. From there you are everywhere on the island within 20 minutes tops. We would like to thank Dimitris, Helena, Georgios and the whole family and staff for making our holiday perfect!!

Well, if you go to a hotel with this kind of rating the expectations are very high. We never stayed at a place with rating 10, so we were very curious and yes you might look for things which maybe are a bit disappointing.... You will realize quickly where the rating comes from and that it is well deserved. Nothing disappoints, they will do everything to make you feel at home and to make your stay perfect!! So nothing less than 10 is well deserved for this great place and the beautiful family running it!! We will definitely go back there!!!

Fantastisch mooi en een gezellig, super ontspannend plekje! Wat een warme familie, dankjewel Dimitrios! Geen enkele vraag is jullie teveel. Jullie doen het geweldig! Het ontbijt is heel lekker. Je wordt op je wenken bediend zonder overdrijven. Ook fijn dat je er lekker kan lunchen of dineren wanneer je hier zin in hebt. Het zwembad is echt top! We hadden een fantastische vakantie bij jullie!

Très bon accueil de la part du gérant. Il faisait l'effort de parler quelques mots en français.😉 Personnel poli et courtois. Logement très propre, bonne literie, climatisation. Petit déjeuner très copieux et très bon ( fruits frais, jus d'oranges frais, croissant, pains au chocolat, œufs, fromage...Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Juccuzi privé. Séjour au top. Merci encore au patron.

Das Hotel ist ruhig, friedlich und vermittelt einem ein Gefühl von Besonderheit, Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet - nur 5 Gehminuten vom Strand und vom Zentrum von Kamari entfernt. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Whirlpool auf dem Balkon, was den Aufenthalt noch besonderer macht. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Das Frühstück und die Speisen im Hotel sind köstlich. Wer andere Geschmäcker probieren möchte, findet im nahegelegenen Zentrum viele verschiedene Restaurants. Der Pool ist zwar klein, aber nicht überfüllt und dadurch sehr angenehm gleich daneben befinden sich eine Bar und Tische, an denen man essen kann,. Das Hotel wird von einer herzlichen und vertrauenswürdigen Familie geführt. Herr Dimitri kümmert sich persönlich um alle Anliegen, sodass man sich nie fremd fühlt. Das gibt einem ein zusätzliches Gefühl von Sicherheit und Geborgenheit.

The hospitality was truly exceptional. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Dimitri, who graciously assisted us with booking our trips and arranging our transportation. We were completely at ease, as everything was thoughtfully managed, leaving us with no concerns whatsoever. The culinary experience at this hotel was remarkable, including the delightful fresh breakfast served each morning. We certainly plan to return.

部屋の綺麗さ、朝食の豪華さ、プールのラグジュアリーな感じなどすべてが最高でした。夕食もいただきましたが、料理の見た目も味も最高でした。ビーチやレストラン街も近く、ロケーションもよかったです。カマリはそんなに混んでおらず、ビーチでもレストランでもゆっくり過ごすことができました。 フレンドリーなご主人が迎えてくれて、子供もリラックスして過ごすことができました。
