Rooms overlook a beautiful maintained garden. A peaceful scent of incense wafts from the canang that the owner offers every morning. Although it is convenient situated in the heart of Ubud, the warm and lovely owner family creates a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. I had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed breakfast each morning. Thank you very much.

L'excellent acceuil, service, emplacement et le petit dejeuner varié et à la demande. Le personnel est extrêmement sympa et respectueux. La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée, lit confort. Service quotidien et offres de bouteille d'eau. Même si la chambre ne comprend pas un frigidaire, il nous ont proposé un extérieur. Bravo et Merci au personnel ( toute la famille).

L'emplacement est un tout petit peu brouillon, mais c'est le cas de UBUD entière.

We stayed here for 7 days, so we can truly provide a valid and thorough review. The apartment was incredibly tidy, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly, the bathroom is spotless, and a hairdryer is also provided. Upon request, the apartments are cleaned daily, and you receive 2 bottles of water every day. Our stay included breakfast, where you can choose your meal every morning, and the host brings it directly to the terrace in front of your apartment at the agreed time. The property features a beautiful facade and is surrounded by a gorgeous garden. The location is absolutely perfect – very close to temples, restaurants, and the local market. Despite being so close to everything, it is extremely quiet and peaceful because the apartment is tucked away in a courtyard. The host truly made our stay unforgettable with his exceptional kindness and helpfulness. I highly recommend this apartment to everyone!

A truly wonderful stay ❤️ I stayed here for five nights and absolutely loved it. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. I arrived after 2 a.m., but the owner’s son warmly welcomed me, helped me check in and carried my suitcase to my room. The hospitality here is truly exceptional. Although breakfast is officially from 8–10 a.m., they were incredibly flexible. I once woke up after 10 and they still happily prepared breakfast for me. Another morning, when I needed to wake up early for sightseeing, they helped make sure I was awake and even brought me breakfast early. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being looked after by a kind local family. My room was cleaned every day, and the hosts were always attentive to little things. When I mentioned that I prefer green tea, they brought me some and provided a kettle. They also gave me a mosquito repellent for the room. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I especially loved the private terrace. Having breakfast there with coffee, flowers, birds and the sound of rain was so peaceful. After a long day exploring Bali, it was also the perfect place to sit and relax in the evening. The location is absolutely perfect. It is right in the center of Ubud, with restaurants of many different cuisines, a massage place and a burger restaurant all just a few minutes’ walk away. Ubud Market and Ubud Palace are also within easy walking distance. You really have everything you need right around you. And the sweetest touch was when I left — because it was my first trip to Bali, the host gave me a few little souvenirs, including a cute small pouch and a magnet. Such a thoughtful gesture! I left this homestay genuinely happy and grateful. The kindness, hospitality, cleanliness, peaceful atmosphere and perfect location made my stay unforgettable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! ❤️

One small suggestion Honestly, there is very little I would change. The only thing that would make this place even more perfect would be having a small spa or massage service on the property, ideally open until late in the evening. After a long day of exploring Ubud, it would be wonderful to come back, have dinner nearby and then enjoy a relaxing massage without having to go anywhere else. As for the mosquitoes, they are simply part of being in Bali and definitely not something I would consider the owners’ fault. They already provide a mosquito repellent for the room, which I really appreciated. Other than that, I truly had a wonderful stay and can’t think of anything else that needs improvement. ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay at Sunarta House Homestay. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and we enjoyed numerous chats with them. The location is excellent being away from the hectic bustle of the centre and with easy access to cafes, street markets and the fabulous rice paddy field walks.

Super lovely and friendly hosts, breakfast delivered to your patio, walking distance to main street, comfy beds. They even moved our shoes when it started to rain so they wouldn’t get wet, would highly recommend them!

Only complaint is that everywhere else we stay in Bali will make us miss Sunarta

This homestay was perfect for us. It is simple with a good bed, good toilets and good shower. It is very clean - the cleanest we've had in all our stays in indonesia!! The cleaning is done daily too and they even give you new water bottles everyday. The beds were comfy and the host so nice and accomodating making sure our stay was perfect. The little terrace at the front of the rooms was a blessing. The kids could run around on the terrace and grass area. The host brings coffees and teas as well as a yummy breakfast on the terrace. To start the day in this peaceful place was so good before heading to the Ubud chaos. We were sad to leave this place and would go back in a heart beat. Very good value!!

Chambres dans un complexe d'habitation typiquement balinais. En plein centre d'Ubud mais au calme car en retrait de la route.

Pas de climatisation mais un ventilateur qui fonctionne bien, c'était suffisant.

The hosts were smiling and helpful. What would have made this a great elevated experience is if they engaged with us a little more (they would always answer Qs when we asked, no issues there, but would have been great if they had made some suggestions of their own, some tips). Overall, we felt very comfortable, but also less of a homestay and more guest house like.

Отель очень красивый, в традиционном Балийском стиле. Номера большие. Удобная веранда, на которую в назначенное время приносят вкусные завтраки. Местоположение и соотношение цена-качество идеальные. Персонал очень дружелюбный! Лучший вариант, чтобы остановиться в самом центре Убуда за хооошую цену.

La posizione dell'alloggio è eccezionale, in quanto situato in una delle vie principali di Ubud; sebbene questo possa far credere che ci sia caos, in realtà la camera era tranquilla e silenziosa. Questo perché la struttura è una casa tradizionale balinese con giardino interno. Il proprietario e tutto il suo staff ci hanno accolti con gentilezza e piena disponibilità. La colazione era fantastica e anche la pulizia della stanza, che avveniva giornalmente. Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile! Consigliato.

Location was great. Central. Walking distance to rice fields to see fire flies, palaces, shops and restaurants. Hotel had two separate beds, offered two water bottles, kettle, electrical adapters, hairdryer, clothes drying rack, shampoo and bodywash and breakfast included. No problem with wifi or air condition. Quiet place despite being central.

What could be better: more hooks on wall (one big wall space completely bare), higher bar for hanging clothes, offering suitcase rack and slippers. Proper water pressure adjustment at the sink, hot water (only cold available, but bearable due to outdoor heat in the bathroom), a shower curtain at the bathtub to prevent water from going out of the tub, plus a bath mat/foot towel would be good,

The room is spacious and cozy, everything was clean, and our room was cleaned daily. I didn’t eat anything other than fried rice for breakfast, which was truly amazing!! I wish I could remember the name of the guy at reception, he was kind the entire time and helped us with tips, places to visit, and where to buy fruit. I would stay again and definitely recommend it! Viaje sola por primera vez un mes a Bali, y para llegar los primeros días reservé aquí por los maravillosos comentarios sobre la familia. Finalmente me terminé quedando todo el mes. En general la gente en Bali es maravillosa, pero ellos lo son especialmente. Sunarta y Agus, padre e hijo siempre atentos conmigo, Ayu la mujer de la casa es tan preciosa, elegante y cariñosa que era una alegría verla cada día. Y Gede, que trabaja allí es de las mejores personas que conocí en este viaje. La ubicación de la casa es perfecta, en el centro, yo he vuelto sola caminando por la noche siempre feliz y tranquila. Literalmente creo que es el lugar donde más segura me he sentido. Por la mañana hasta las 9am aproximadamente, en la misma calle, en la puerta de la casa se puede vivir el ambiente local, que es lo mejor si realmente te interesa aprender y sentir lo bonito de su gente. Es el lugar perfecto para quedarse y sentir la hermosa energía de Ubud, su gente y sentirse parte del lugar. Volveré a Ubud en cuanto pueda, y no dudo en que volveré aquí cada vez, donde me he sentido como en casa.

I had an amazing stay here! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming , they even invited me to a ceremony this morning, which made me feel truly at home. The place was spotless, the breakfast was perfect, and the whole atmosphere was so warm and comfortable. I honestly could have stayed much longer. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Highly recommended.

La gente era muy amable, no tuvimos ningún problema. A demás, como en realidad la parte de bajo es una casa, vivimos un poco la experiencia de verlos en su día a día. La ubicación está genial proque estás justo en el centro.

La ubicación es perfecta, muy cerca del centro con todo cerca. La habitación y el baño amplias y muy limpio. No tiene aire acondicionado pero sí ventilador. La habitación da a un jardín interior. La atención es perfecta. Tiene en frente un supermercado y por las mañanas en la puerta montan el mercado de frutas

L'alloggio è in una posizione centrale a Ubud ma nonostante questo rimane un posto tranquillo e piacevole. La nostra stanza era pulita e immersa nel verde. La colazione gustosa. Il ragazzo alla reception parla molto bene inglese, è davvero una persona simpatica e che ha saputo consigliarci come muoverci nei giorni di maltempo. Sempre i ragazzi della struttura ci hanno saputo aiutare per contattare e prenotare dei transfer (es: aeroporto ubud) e per il tour verso il monte batour. Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile. Consigliatissimo! Ps: riso fritto e banana crep per colazione, spaziali

Le finestre non hanno i vetri ma tende e zanzariere.

Las habitaciones están dentro de un jardín, por lo que no hay casi ruido. Además, son espaciosas y muy limpias. Está situado a unos 10 minutos caminando del Palacio de Ubud en una calle menos transitado y donde viven mayormente locales. El desayuno estaba muy rico. Comida sencilla que te sirven en la pequeña terraza que tiene la habitación. Además, los anfitriones son una familia muy amable y acogedora.

Hay bastantes insectos, por lo que te recomiendo comprar un anti mosquitos y enchufarlo en la mesilla.

We stayed at hotel for 3 nights. It's really great hotel. It's beautiful hotel in Balinese style, in the heart of Ubud. The service, the room and breakfast, everything was really fantastic. The location of this hotel is the best, everything is within walking distance, restaurants, art markets, Ubud palace, museums, monkey forest. The most what I liked, it's the atmosphere of this place and staff people. I've never seen such humble, smiling and warm-hearted staff. I think I will miss them. The best service in Bali.🙏🏼♥️. And it has amazing price for all this. I highly recommend this place.

The place was exactly as pictured and super clean. The family were so lovely and attentive too, and breakfast was really nice. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend!

It wasn’t very soundproof, you could hear other guests easily and there was also a rooster near by that was making a lot of noise quite often.
