Reviewed Aug 31, 2026We stayed here purely to enable us to catch the first ferry out of Andenes to Senja the following morning. This worked fine as we were recommended to park at the port and the accommodation is only a 15 minute walk away. The room was ok, quiet and bathroom good. Well located by the harbour and a nice walk out to the lighthouse.
No breakfast available so suggest bring your own. Limited options for evening dinner in the town, although we found a good pizza place round the corner. Also note that you have to pick up the keys at a different hotel as you enter the town which was a bit strange..

Voor een appartement met keuken en zitgedeelte was het wel heel klein en daardoor de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding niet helemaal kloppend. Op de deur zat een heel sterke dranger, waardoor we ondanks het lekkere weer deze niet even open konden zetten.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Soggiorno meraviglioso! Sembrava di essere tornati indietro nel tempo, in un luogo fatto di pescatori e palafitte. La struttura è iconica, un complesso fatto di palafitte sul mare. Sento ancora lo scricchiolio del legno, wow! La camera ha giuste dimensioni ed è dotata di angolo cucina e salottino vista fiordo. Arredata con molto gusto risulta davvero confortevole. Ci ho lasciato il cuore. Il paesino è molto tranquillo ed è un ottimo punto di partenza per fare escursioni per avvistare le pulcinelle di mare o le balene. Poi dal prossimo anno apriranno il modernissimo museo delle balene, stupendo a livello architettonico! Consiglio questa struttura a tutti.

Huisje was vrij klein en niet heel schoon. We vonden de bedden niet heel comfortabel, maar oke voor een paar nachten.

Camera spaziosa e pulita con angolo cottura/cucinotto di dimensioni adeguate fornito anche di lavastoviglie. Bagno spazioso e dotato di tutto.
Nella camera mancava un vero e proprio spazio per pranzare, ci siamo dovuti adeguare usando il tavolino del soggiorno. Forse un tavolinetto e due sedie si potrebbero aggiungere alle dotazioni della stanza.

Il check in è da fare altrove, ma è solo a 10 minuti a piedi.

Not exactly what is represented in the pictures. As it so happens there are two other adjacent set of buildings (a red one and a yellow one, whose names escape me) and we found ourselves in the red one. No complaints: we had an harbour view as promised and a terrace to enjoy it (weather permitting). Dinner in town however might prove a struggle if not booked in advance. But there is always the pizza place and there are a couple of supermarkets right before reaching town (open late). So cooking @ lodging is always an option.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Completely inaccessible for wheelchair users, not accommodating at all. To hours to be sorted out, had to find and pay for another room, booking.com and insurance did help with securing another booking. Booking.com promised to refund the cost of another room for all the inconvenience, haven’t honoured their end of this agreement. Hotels reception is located 10 mins away in a completely different hotel, and in bad weather, this is really hard to do without a vehicle. The only communication I got from them from moment of booking was an automated message-nothing to inform me the room is not actually wheelchair friendly.
