Este hostel ha sido uno de los mejores hosteles en los que me he quedado, súper limpio, súper espacioso, con conectores de energía por todas partes, con una cocina, espacios comunes, con decoraciones súper lindas, es súper tranquilo, en una muy buena ubicación… con la ducha y el baño, súper limpios y la ducha súper espaciosa y ni hablar de Dounya, la administradora, ella es supremamente dulce carismática con una energía supremamente positiva. Siempre está dispuesta para ayudarte y buscar la soluciones a los problemas. Ella está siempre disponible para ti. Se preocupa mucho por saber cómo estás y cómo te sientes está súper pendiente constantemente Recomiendo este lugar al 100% espero que cuando vuelva a Rabat pueda quedarme nuevamente allá porque me encantó el lugar y yo he viajado muchísimo por Marruecos y es por el mundo y este es uno de mis hostales preferidos

La atención de la joven encargada y la belleza del lugar.

Que la cama estaba fijada al piso, no se podía mover lo que impidió limpiar debajo donde había botellas, basura y mucho polvo. También que solo una persona es la encargada de atender tantas personas.

A really great stay! The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The biggest highlight, however, was the incredibly friendly and kind staff, special thanks to Yassine and Sanae. Good wifi connection, they offered airport transfer with a good price.

À mon arrivé Le gestionnaire m’a fait attendre 20 minutes devant la porte d’entrée. J’étais très fatigué du voyage et quand je suis entré une femme m’a accueilli pour faire le Check in. À ma grande surprise il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude. J’ai appelé le gestionnaire qui m’a expliqué qu’il ne pouvait rien faire pour gérer le problème. Qu’il pourra intervenir le lendemain. Je l’ai recontacté le lendemain matin car j’ai constaté que l’eau chaude ne fonctionnait toujours pas mais il ne me répondait plus. J’ai donc décidé de quitter cet établissement qui est sombre, sal… ça sent le moisis. Il y a d’ailleurs des moisissures partout dans la salle de bain. Les lits sont inconfortables et mal entretenus… Je ne conseille pas cet établissement

Entraram no quarto as 2 da manhã para arrumar a cama e fazer um check-in, acenderam a luz, eu tive que pedir para desligarem porque o rapaz que entrou ainda continuou com a luz acesa, entrar no quarto ok, agora acenderam a luz de madrugada achei incomodo, e haviam mais pessoas dormindo, as camas deveriam ficar ja arrumadas

Very clean, great friendly host, and 4 beds in one room was perfect, it wasn't crowded. Even though it was hot outside, it always stayed a comfortable temperature inside. There are sockets in between the beds and a rack to put your luggage. I was afraid having only two showers would mean often waiting to get one, but that was not the case!

The bed was a little too hard (springs) to my taste, but not terrible.

I was assigned a bed the first night and when I came the second night I saw that the bed was given to an other client and I did not find where to sleep, I had to sleep in the kitchen, I dont understand this and also I got nothing from the owner no refund no compensation

It was dirty, uncomfortable and the name is wrong. It’s an hostel actually, not an hotel.

Die Adresse zu finden, war ein bisschen kompliziert.

Le Riad Dar Yassine présente un dysfonctionnement sérieux en matière de gestion client et de communication. Une demande de changement de date a été envoyée via Booking : aucune réponse. Un contact téléphonique a ensuite été établi, au cours duquel il a été confirmé que la demande serait traitée. Aucun suivi n’a pourtant été effectué. À ce jour, aucun message, aucune confirmation, aucun refus formel, aucune explication. Ce manque total de traçabilité et de fiabilité place le client dans une situation d’incertitude inacceptable, notamment lorsqu’un paiement a déjà été effectué. Ce type de fonctionnement soulève de réelles inquiétudes quant à la capacité de l’établissement à gérer correctement une réservation ou à assister un client en cas de problème. En l’absence de communication claire et de respect des engagements annoncés, la confiance est impossible. Pour les voyageurs qui recherchent un hébergement sérieux, joignable et professionnel, le Riad Dar Yassine ne répond manifestement pas aux standards attendus. Réserver ici comporte un risque inutile. Il existe des alternatives bien plus fiables.

De “common area” was erg mooi en er was een keuken ter beschikking!

Don’t recommend because they cancel the reservation few minutes before the check in.

They cancelled my reservation just few minutes before the check in. They refund my money but I couldn’t find another place so I needed to travel to another city.

The walls and arches and atrium.

Running out of hot water, longgggg response delays, lack of contact with the host....cold (in January but extra blankets would have been great!)

Towel, shower gel and shampoo are provided. Toilets are clean.

Location was good and everyone I met was very nice. Felt very homey.

Staff, location, facilities, the room..

It was challenging to check in as they dont have reception at the hostel. The guest have to call the host, and wait for some minutes.

The bed is very comfy, the room had only 4 people at a time. There is a young lady who helped when I was checking out, she was extremely nice and can speak English which made everything easier. The decoration of the place or rather the way its set up is amazing, very quiet at night. General location good (after you find the place) around 10 minutes walking distance to Rabat Ville a main train station and from here you can also get the airport shuttle directly) Close to many eateries

The water pressure can be made better in the bathroom. Biggest headache was locating the place, located smack in the middle of the Souk or Old Market and with no signage at all it was so hard to locate the place, Didn't help that I got in past midnight and it was raining. Even the directions direct from booking.com took me to another nearby hostel before I was re directed here. Just get there during the day and save yourself the hustle. Messages after booking via the app weren't answered. The person who checked me in was an old man and could barely speak a word of Enhlish though he was really nice and it was approaching 1 am amd raining. All in all not a bad place to stay for a day or two.

Personnel sympathique

I didn’t have breakfast , Stayed for only one day. But it was lovely the stuff were friendly and the hostel was very clean and calm, I’ve seen only foreigners while staying there.

One thing I didn’t like and it was particularly my fault as I selected the shared dormitory , I thought it would be just female even if it’s not mentioned , but it wasn’t the case if you choose just normal shared bed you’ll be in a dormitory with men and women both. Just in case you don’t want to be pug in this situation. For me I would rather be in a woman but in general it was good. I quite like the stay as it was very clean and very calm.

The staff is the best, extremely helpful!

The location in the medina is great and the staff is extremely helpful. It’s very easy to to get to know other travellers at the roof terrace. And even though I planned spontaneous everything was super well organised and the manager was always reachable. Very good experience.

The muezzin is very audible in the early morning, but I guess that’s part of the cultural experience ;-)

Great location in the middle of the medina. Clean, simple, shared accommodation. There is a basic kitchen.

There is no air conditioning or fan, so the room was hot and stuffy. The wifi is bad and often drops out, and there is little mobile service on the property. There are no lockers and little privacy. The location is not correct on booking.com, and the staff were not responsive during my arrival. I didn't see any staff for the rest of my stay - luckily I had no problems, but there should be someone to answer questions and address anything that might come up. Although of course this depends on the guests, while I was there, this was not a social hostel, just shared accommodation.

Todo impecable y tranquilo. Fue mi primera experiencia en este tipo de construcción y es realmente hermoso como se ve . Las personas que atienden muy amables, cordiales y siempre dispuestas a ayudar . Si tuviera que planear mi viaje de nuevo lo volvería a elegir . Muchas gracias.

The location and the place is beautiful.

I arrived late to the hostel at 23:30 as we have accorded and my host showed with a little bit of delay. I believe that she was sleeping and rushed the explanation of how to open the portal and everything.

I liked the way the hostel’s staff were always there ready to help and assist in the most efficient way❤️ everything was perfectly good and clean. I highly recommend the hostel.

Loved the friendly, accommodating staff! They were all super welcoming and helpful. Always plenty of toilet paper and hot water available in the bathroom. Comfy beds. The guest kitchen is a real plus!

Only one negative: the house has no windows for adequate ventilation. Because of this, the hot air hangs heavily in the rooms and the bathroom is moldy...which is not great if you are highly allergic to mold, like me. Otherwise, a fine stay..

Probably the nicest place I stayed at during my travels in Morocco.

Beautiful place and people

It was spacious & had a kitchen & there was plenty of hot water

It was dark in the hallways- there was No terrace - there was a distinct smell - maybe sulfure in the water - the “family” who lived upstairs started making noise by 7:30 - there are 2 Dar Yassines in Rabat - there didn’t appear to be any staff staying on the property

The place looks like a palace. The beds and blankets are comfortable, the bathroom is clean, the floor is spotless, the people that work here are very polite and nice. I had a towel and a drawer with a lock for free. Perfect place to stay (:
