Reviewed May 2, 2026Sehr hell und sehr großzügig. Großartige 7 m breite Fensterfront Alles super neu. Designer Möbel. Georg und Viola sind absolut hilfsbereit und gaben auch sehr hilfreiche Tipps für die weitere Tour. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Wenn jemand denkt, die Bewertung ist zu gut um wahr zu sein ….Es war wirklich alles atemberaubend gut. Wir können es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Auch die Mitarbeiterin Lucya war mehr als zuvorkommend.
Es gibt wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Wir waren total begeistert.

- We had a small problem with the pool cleaning robot, hence, the host. I believe the robot takes too much space for a small pool like that and naturally I wanted to remove it to the side. Apparently, this is not correct thing to do but the reaction was too much. - The host invested into the property a lot and understandably wants to protect it. Yet, sometimes it felt like Germany :) Too many rules which make the stay a bit stressfull sometimes because you are afraid to damage something. - Expensive compared to other facilities we stayed. The region is expensive in general.

Reviewed Nov 26, 2025Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft schön. Sie liegt in einem sehr guten Viertel und ist sicher. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr groß und wunderschön! Alles sehr neu, sauber, großartig! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir eine der Angestellten (Lucia). Unfassbar herzliche, offene Local, die uns viele Tipps gegeben hat und dazu beigetragen hat das wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Sehr sympathische Frau :-)
Die Unterkunft hat keine Klimaanlage und nur einen Deckenventilator. Das war uns teilweise nachts zu warm, jedoch wird dies sicher ökologische Gründe haben und ist daher absolut verständlich! Die oberen Fenster haben keine Jalousie wodurch ist ab Sonnenaufgang sehr hell in dem Zimmer ist.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025We had a wonderful stay at Hilltop Bayview. The room was spacious and spotless, and Viola and Georg thought of every little detail . There was even a beach bag with two towels ready for us. When we arrived, Georg gave us great tips on what to do in the area, along with a detailed map where he highlighted the best sights, restaurants, supermarkets, and more. The property is just 3 minutes from the town center and only a few minutes’ drive from the beach. The pool is heated, and the view of the sea from our room was absolutely stunning, even from the shower 😉! The room is beautifully decorated, and the beds are incredibly comfortable.

I think it could be a good idea put air fryers in the rooms as there are no ovens and perhaps a microwave too. Maybe some beach chairs a cooler box and beach towels to use while you there especially if you have flown down.

Reviewed Sep 23, 2024What we liked the most were the two house managers, Lucia and Chantelle. They were amazing , super professional friendly and super duper hard working. They also helped us get our laundry done with a laundromat that picked up and deliver. The entire building is impeccable. The apartment was spotless and you get someone to clean your apartment every day and was better than the St. Regis Hotel in New York. Very very impressed
The only thing is that they put the alarm at night and you have to be in communication if you come back passed 11pm sso that it doesn’t go off in the middle of the night

A large mirror in the bedroom area would have been good,a microwave in the kitchen would have proved useful as would a collapsible drier/airer out on the balcony.

It is a fair walk from town (maybe 30 mins) but the owners recommended a taxi service for us which was brilliant - reliable, friendly and not expensive - so this was not an issue.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2023Hospitable staff, beautiful place, neat, spacious with magnificent views of sunrise, sunset, beach etc. Towels are still new and fresh and changed daily. Cappuccino 24/7. Spacious kitchen, big fridge, and the stove, crockery and cutlery are also still new, beautifully furnished kitchen area to sit and enjoy own cooked meal. Strong wifi signal..
There is no air conditioner, and the ceiling fan was out of order, they made an effort to bring a portable fan , but it made no difference, Plett was too hot , and we had difficulty falling asleep sleep. Would be helpful if they can provide plastic shower caps in the bathroom, and add a microwave for warming food in the kitchen.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the amazing views and the beautiful surroundings. The host was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The apartment itself was modern and stylish, with a fully equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The parking and safe environment were both much appreciated, and I loved being able to relax and watch the sunset lights on a beach from my room each evening. Overall, I had an incredible stay at this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable getaway. The host, amenities, and views were all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and visit again in the future.
