It's such a great location ! Near rice fields in a lovely area . So peaceful . The host made a delicious breakfast We had an amazing sleep in a large, comfortable bed with high-quality linen! The accommodation felt safe and welcoming 🙏 with a beautiful garden setting that had traditional Balinese houses. Also the host helped me get a scooter, which was much appreciated. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place .

It was a nice hotel next to Ubud surrounded by rice fields. The villa was clean and comfortable. The lady there was so kind with us. It was the perfect place for a last few days of relaxing at the end of our holidays. Thanks so much !

I love absolutely everything about Maruan Sari! It is a beautiful and peaceful place and the host Dewi is so so lovely.

Nos gustó todo. Yosa es un amor, siempre con una sonrisa transmitiendo paz y alegría, y ayudándonos ante cualquier duda. Nos encantaron las orquídeas, la casita balinesa al lado del templo, el desayuno espectacular en la terraza, la ducha perfecta, la cama enorme, el jardín precioso, la puesta de sol en el arrozal...

Alojamiento muy tranquilo, cerca de Ubud (no en el centro). La villa tiene unos jardines super bonitos, con fuentes y un templo familiar muy mono. La habitación súper limpia. Dewi, la anfitriona, es encantadora. Cada día te pregunta qué quieres para desayunar (de cara al día siguiente) y a qué hora, para que sea lo más cómodo posible. Ella misma nos alquiló una moto para movernos por Bali e incluso nos llevó las maletas cuando nos cambiamos de alojamiento para conocer otros puntos de la isla. Es maravillosa y ayuda en todo. ¡GRACIAS, Dewi por tu hospitalidad!

Unser Aufenthalt im Maruan Sari war einfach wundervoll. Die Gastgeberin hat uns vom ersten Moment an herzlich empfangen und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Besonders begeistert waren wir von dem liebevoll zubereiteten Frühstück – frisch, lecker und jeden Morgen ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Außerdem haben wir tolle Ausflugstipps bekommen, durch die wir die Umgebung noch besser kennenlernen konnten. Das gesamte Territorium der Unterkunft ist wunderschön gepflegt, ruhig und mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Man kann dort wunderbar entspannen und die besondere Atmosphäre genießen. Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können Maruan Sari von Herzen weiterempfehlen!

This is a traditional Balinese house with a beautiful garden. Surrounded by nature, it was quiet and we were able to spend very relaxing days. The owners always looked after us during our stay, which we are very grateful for. The breakfast every morning was delicious and plentiful. There were no problems at all with local restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

L’établissement est super. Établissement typique balinais avec de beau jardin bien entretenu à 10-15min de Ubud en scooter, proche de beaucoup de lieux d’intérêt. Mais assez éloigné de la ville pour être dans un cadre calme et reposant. Le personnel de l’hôtel est vraiment très sympathique et de bon conseil pour vos activités et votre séjour. Petit déjeuner très bon et variés. Vous pouvez louer un scooter ou organiser des excursions directement depuis l’hôtel Je recommande fortement

O gazda excelenta, extraordinar de amabila si prietenoasa, in pretul cazarii a fost inclus si transferul de la aeroport. Meniul fabulos de la micul dejun l-am putut intocmi si cere la ce ora am dorit noi. Tot la cazare am putut inchiria si scuter. Taxiul ne-a asteptat la aeroport pana am rezolvat vizele si am iesit cu bagajele, soferul foarte amabil, ne-a ajutat peste tot la bagaje, la rugamintea noastra ne-a dus sa schimbam bani si sa ne cumparam cartele telefonice. Bravo si felicitari!

Sehr schöne kleine Unterkunft in einer ruhigen Gegend mit einem hübschen und gepflegten Garten und einer sehr herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin. Der über die Unterkunft organisierte Transfer vom Flughafen hat reibungslos geklappt und auch bei der Organisation des sehr spontan benötigten Transfers (Buchung über Gojek/Grab hat nicht funktioniert) in unsere nächstes Hotel wurde uns sehr gut und unkompliziert weitergeholfen! Mit dem Fahrrad (kostenfreier Verleih) haben wir drei Wasserfälle in der direkten Umgebung entdeckt, mit dem Roller (Verleih gegen Gebühr) sind wir nach Ubud gefahren (ca. 30 Minuten).

La chambre paraît plus grande en vrai qu’en photo et piscine en retrait plus petite. Nous n’en avons pas profité au vu de la pluie mais nous avons adoré séjourner à Maruan Sari

Dewi est une hôte adorable! Elle est toujours présente et aux petits soins. Le petit-déjeuner était excellent. Chambre très propre. Le jardin est luxuriant, l’emplacement est un peu loin d’Ubud mais est situé dans les rizières au calme et loin de l’agitation de la ville ce qui rend l’endroit magique et paisible. Dewi parle même quelques mots en Français. Un début de séjour exceptionnel. Merci encore pour l’accueil et la générosité.

Il faut un scooter pour se déplacer

Guest house gérée aux petits oignons par Dewi. Service exceptionnel. Emplacement à l'écart de la folie d'Ubud, dans une campagne Balinoise encore préservée... pour combien de temps ? Très joli jardin, entouré de rizières. Nous étions dans la villa à deux chambres. Équipement pléthorique, confort de haut niveau, décoration soignée et de bon goût. Un grand Waouh quand vous ouvrez les rideaux le matin avec la vue splendide sur les rizières. Très bon petit déjeuner qui change tous les jours. Il y a une cascade à 20 mn à pied qui vaut le déplacement. Nous étions les seuls à notre arrivée, ce qui est le luxe ultime à Bali. Merci à Dewi et son équipe !

Il manque un warung bon marché à proximité. Bon à savoir, il faut louer un scooter ou appeler un Grab si on veut se rapprocher des activités d'Ubud. Par contre, pour ceux qui font le choix de l'authenticité, c'est un hébergement que nous recommandons à 200% !!!

We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad! Vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf was het contact met gastvrouw Dewi heel prettig en gemakkelijk, ze reageert altijd snel en vriendelijk. De kamer was ruim en schoon en het verblijf zelf prachtig. Het ontbijt was goed geregeld: elke avond kon je doorgeven wat je wilde en hoe laat, superhandig. Ook het persoonlijke contact viel ons erg op. Toen we tijdens vertrek naar een excursie ineens in de regen terechtkwamen, gaf Dewi ons direct een poncho mee – echt attent! Er zijn scooters te huur, waardoor de wat grotere afstand tot het centrum van Ubud geen probleem is. Sterker nog, de ligging is juist een groot voordeel: heerlijk rustig en weg van de drukte. Kortom: absoluut een aanrader om hier te boeken!

Un excellent accueil lors de notre arrivée. Après être venu nous chercher au taxi, on nous a proposé un jus avec des fruits et des gâteaux. Ils nous ont aussi aidé pour trouver une location pour un scooter. Ils sont à l’écoute et attentionné. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux dans un jardin sublime. Le lieu est très calme face aux rizières.

L’hôtel est situé un peu loin de restaurants ou de Ubud. Il faut un moyen de locomotion.

Estancia perfecta en un lugar rodeado de naturaleza. Ideal para desconectar y relajarse. Puedes desplazarte sin problemas desde allí a donde desees. Las personas que nos atendieron encantadoras.

The place was beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We loved the fact that it is surrounded by rice fields but that there are also good restaurants nearby. It was easy and inexpensive to get a Grab to go into Ubud.

We liked the personal, friendly touch of this home stay. With a special welcome drink! The location is peaceful in the middle of rice fields. A beautiful garden with a pool big enough for cooling down. We stayed in the double balcony room. Everything very clean, big comfortable bed. A delicious breakfast! Everyday new water in the fridge. We also were invited to a ceremony at a local temple, a nice way to see a part of Balinese culture. Walking distance to a couple of warungs. It is a bit outside of Ubud, but we liked the tranquility of this place. With taxi (Grab) Ubud can be easily reached if you stay outside rush hour.

Beautiful room, and we were happy with the swimming pool. We enjoyed the ceremony celebration in town, that was special. Close to two very nice waterfalls.

The bicycles were pretty basic. But hey, they were free!

Maruan Sari is just the best place in the whole of Bali! We have stayed in more than 10 different places in Bali and Maruan Sari is by far the best! We came back & extended our stay 5 times because you will not find the more perfect place. It’s in an amazing Balinese village, around you have beautiful rice fields, very quiet & calm, beautiful clean rooms, super refreshing and clean pool, THE BEST BREAKFAST & most wonderful people there! Not far you have everything you need - local warungs, restaurants, shops, etc. If you looking at this place & planning a trip to Bali, please don't look further. This is the place, which makes your time in Bali forgettable.

Dewi is very nice host and taking good care of the customers. It's a beautiful place in the middle of the ricefields yet easy to find. I had a wonderfull time and will certainly come back.

Only one minor point to improve is the small bathroom where mixing hot and.cold water.is not easy.

The Maruansari villa was peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view of panoramic rice field. The breakfast was delicious and the owner ( Dewi) and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and a big comfy bed. Also a big bathroom with good pressure of warm shower. We really recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy some relaxing days near Ubud. We also were allowed by Dewi to use their bicycle for free. Lots of wildlife and nice ecosystem helps keep mosquitoes away.

Dewi is a super host, always smiling. Our two boys were treated with love and they loved it here so much! We immediately felt at home. You can choose your breakfast and she even prepares dinner if you wish! Everything is delicious😍 The room with the terrace is big and spacious - the bed super comfy! It is not very close to Ubud but thats a plus. Take abgrab and you re in Ubud in 20 minutes. The house lies in between picturesque rice fields and the pool is refreshing. We liked it so much that we came back after our trip to the Gilis.

Our stay at Maruan Sari was just perfect, we had the pleasure of staying for 5 nights at this warm, friendly location with Dewi and her wonderful staff. From the time we arrived we were made to feel right at home and very much enjoyed the family atmosphere. The location was just perfect for us, right in the middle of rice fields with stunning gardens, facilities and surroundings, that all add to this wonderful calming location. The home cooked breakfast we enjoyed daily were delicious and plentiful, adding even more comfort to our stay. During our stay we explored around the local area, finding some great little Warungs for some tasty local meals and to buy anything you may need during your stay. We highly recommend Maruan Sari for its hospitality, service, and pleasant ambiance. Dewi and her staff were very kind, always attentive to every little detail with a warm caring atmosphere. Good quiet location not far from central Ubud

I am personally not liking sleeping with air conditioning, a ceiling fan would be a better option.

We stayed 8 days at Maruan Sari. We had a very very good time. !!! We liked it a lot, everything was perfect. Mrs. Dewi, a fantastic woman, good, thoughtful, always available. Excellent breakfast. Staff always ready and attentive. Cleanliness and order in the rooms, very well-kept garden. Resort in a very beautiful location for those who love nature, surrounded by rice fields, quiet and not far from Ubud. I was very sorry to have to leave, I hugged Mrs. Dewi as if she were a great friend for a long time and we were moved. What else to say?? if I return to Bali I will certainly return to Maruan Sari.!!!

**Review of Marvan Sari, Ubud** We had a wonderful stay at Marvan Sari in Ubud. This warm and friendly place, with a family atmosphere, made us feel right at home. The location is calm and pleasant, with a beautiful and peaceful garden reflecting the Indonesian spirit. The staff is exceptionally kind, very attentive, and caring. A big thank you to the manager, who was very supportive to my wife and me following a scooter accident. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, adding even more comfort to our stay. We highly recommend Marvan Sari for its hospitality, service, and pleasant ambiance. If you walk or drive around you can find very good local restaurants or street food. the 2 waterfalls not far away, super nice as well as the pubs-restaurants

Maruan Sari is beautiful & peaceful, and no mosquitoes at all. No dogs nor roosters. The breakfast is good too. It is one of the best place I've been so far.

Its us in a beautiful and quiet area. Villa room was large and clean. Dewi and the staff were friendly, very responsive, helpful and friendly.

Given the traffic problems in Ubud it is a little to far from the town. Pool was a plunge pool, smaller than it appeared in photos.

Quiet location outside Ubud center. Super friendly host, amazing garden for having a delicious breakfast, nice little pool to relax and nice clean rooms. We stayed 2 nights in a Superior double room, then wished to prolongue our stay for 2 additional nights and moved to a Deluxe King room which was absolutely amazing.

The grounds and setting for the property are sensational. The breakfasts were very good and the staff were lovely.

The bathroom in the smaller room of the 2 rooms we booked is a little on the small side but still met our needs.

The breakfast was given a personal touch and Mrs devi, had a passion for cooking, she was never reluctant to cook.My son unfortunately got hurt, so the entire family took great care of him.

We had a very pleasant and friendly reception. The rooms and pool were very clean, and everyone was extremely kind, going above and beyond to help us. The breakfast was diverse, very tasty, and plentiful, sufficient to last until dinner. The surrounding area is very peaceful with scenic views, especially at dusk. As a family of four, we used Grab cars for going around and it was still very accessible, however, it's perfect if you use a scooter. We definitely highly recommend it.

Location is a little far away from the action. There are several restaurants within a 10 minute walk but shops and cafes are much further. However, if you want peaceful and tranquil, this is the place for you...

First of all, I love the owner/ auntie Dewi, she's so caring ♥️ I love Manik and her mom and lil sister and the bellman who helped me carry my big/heavy suitcase in the evening 27/6/2024 as well, they are so friendly, lovely and helpful ♥️ Second, they upgraded me to a deluxe room which is big with excellent view, it would be perfect if you stay there on time for rice paddies 🌾 The swimming pool and the garden are beautiful as well 🌺🌸 They served good breakfast (included in room charge which is so reasonable) right to your room. I'd love to come back Maruan Sari next time and many times in near future. Highly recommend for natural-lovers 💚

The place is perfect for some relaxing days in Ubud. The room is spacious and has a big comfy bed. What makes it more special is the nice owner Dewi who helped us with all information needed. The breakfast was also very good.

The best place I've been to! Located not very far from the center but in a very cozy and quiet place. The whole yard is in very nice plants and everything looks amazing. The room is spacious and has air conditioning. The service is amazing, them will help with everything and breakfasts are unreal delicious. I recommend this place to everyone!

My husband and child (1.5 years old) spent our vacation in this wonderful place. It felt like home. The owner of the house and her family are very friendly and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The villa is located near Ubud, in a quiet location, surrounded by rice fields. There was a large selection of delicious breakfast. There is a kitchen next to the villa, where you can prepare your own food if you wish. There is also a washing machine. You can rent a motorbike at the hotel. You can also order an excellent massage. The location of the hotel is very convenient if you want to travel by motorbike. I highly recommend this place.

Great secluded spot with rice paddies and palm trees. It’s quite convenient that you can even rent a bike right on the spot at a price lower than the rental offices in the city. We took a room with breakfast, the menu was varied, there was plenty to choose from, plus they also gave us some goodies. Our arrival fell on New Year's Day, so we still had the table set for free. There is even a washing machine on site, which is a big plus for long-term stays. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets, I see no mosquitoes and do not allow bloodsuckers, so I was very pleased with this protection. The owner and staff are very kind and attentive to requests, wonderful people.

The host family was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. They customized our included breakfast every day based on our requests. They often offered gifts of fruit and other snacks. We rented a moped directly from them which was so convenient and we’re able to easily get to surrounding amenities such as waterfalls, rice fields, a butterfly garden and a coffee farm. The ride to Ubud was only 20 minutes. Overall we had a great stay and will be looking forward to staying again in the future.

I love the home-y feels of the place. There are quiet common areas where we get to do some work and have meals. The place has hot water and although there was no hairdryer at first but when we requested for it, the hosts went to buy it for us. The breakfast was really nice, loved the local options! The host occasionally offered us some tea and cakes to have while we are working, which was really lovely!

I think it would be good if the property could change the towel on daily basis but otherwise we can always request for change of towel as well.

Stunning rice fields accompanied with very friendly hosts and a super comfortable room. I loved the spacious room so much. The garden is incredibly beautiful and peaceful which is perfect for meditation related purposes too.
