I loved the location, it was beautiful and serene in the rice fields but only 20 minutes from the Ubud city centre. we had the best of both worlds. I loved my my Padi villa overlooking the rice fields. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The restaurant served delicious food. We were a large party of 30 people and all loved the accommodation and staff. I would highly recommend this resort.

The fact that you can chose a limited number of options on the breakfast. I truly value à la carte breakfast however it can’t be limited. On a 5* hotel the customer should have opportunity to ask for what he wants within the menu.

Erg mooi resort op een waanzinnig mooie locatie.

Afstand tot het centrum is wat verder dus moet je echt een scooter huren of een taxi huren. De shuttle busjes rijden maar tot 18u naar het centrum.

What I enjoyed most was the peace and tranquillity of the place, the quality of the restaurant, and the wide variety of activities offered by the hotel, which made our stay even more enjoyable and special.

Het was echt fantastisch! Super mooie locatie, prachtige resort. Het team is ook fantastisch! Je moet wel een stukje met de scooter om in het centrum te komen maar wij vonden dit heel mooi omdat je een beetje in het lokale stuk van Ubud zat.

Wel gehorig met de boven buren en we hadden een naar geurtje in onze kamer op een bepaald plek. Maar dit waren kleine puntjes en het zou ons zeker niet weerhouden om er weer naartoe te gaan.

Nous avons passé 6 jours au sein de cet établissement magnifique au milieu des rizières et au calme d Ubud mais pour autant accessible rapidement. Que dire de l accueil, exceptionnel de gentillesse et d attention tout au long de notre séjour. Un grand merci à Abi de l accueil et la charmante Apri au restaurant qui ont rendu notre séjour si agréable. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et de très bon goût. Enfin le restaurant est digne d un établissement gastronomique tant nous avons apprécié la saveur des plats comme leur présentation. En résumé un séjour parfait et un grand merci à l ensemble du personnel. Petite attention du départ, un cabas en souvenir qui nous a touché.

The staff made the experience far greater than I ever could have imagined. The location is fabulous, the standards are extremely high. Including all the trainee staff they are training. Truely blessed to have stayed here. The room was amazing with extra touches every-where and fantastic views. The day spa was enjoyable and quiet. The morning yoga, bike ride and rice walking was fabulous and a must do.. The food menu is extensive, fresh and flavoursome. Breakfast is huge. However the stand out is the staff, made the experience even better! The moment you arrive you feel like number 1. I would not have participated in some of the cultural activities if it wasn’t for the staff. Mila and Ogik, went above and beyond their job titles and exceeded my expectation. They deserve to be employees of the month. Arias, Eri- also made my stay far more enjoyable. Even down to last minute transport services. Totally worth the trip there. Ubud itself is a rat race, so staying this far out, is definitely worth it, as this part still feels a little like Ubud used to.

אם אתם אוהבים את עצמכם תגיעו לפה. מלון מדהים, שקט, נוף הכי יפה שיש, שירות מדהים וקצת מרוחק מ ubud שעושה את זה אפילו יותר שקט מהשקט. לקחנו את החדרים עם הבריכה וזה היה שווה את התוספת מחיר המועטה. אתה מקבל retreat לנשמה. מומלץ ברמות!!! והעובדים פשוט מקסימים!!!!

A quiet, relaxing hotel just outside Ubud. Beautiful location and the staff are lovely.

However, definitely targeted more at couples on honeymoon so if you're looking for things to do such as yoga or classes while travelling solo, this isn't the ideal hotel. Yoga only available three days per week and only one class at 7am.

Un écrin au milieu des rizières. Des chambres avec piscine merveilleuse et un accueil très agréable.

Une des chambres executive était très humide et avec une vue limitée. La piscine partagée n’avait pas le charme des piscines privatives.

Wir können das Hotel zu 100% weiterempfehlen und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Zimmer war super sauber, das Personal stets sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen im Restaurant (wir hatten Frühstück und waren auch ein paar Mal abends dort essen) war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Das Hotel liegt nicht zentral in Ubud, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben, da es sehr ruhig mitten in den Reisfeldern gelegen ist. Praktischer Weise bietet das Hotel mehrfach am Tag einen kostenlosen Shuttle in die Stadt an. Die Anlage an sich hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen mit den vielfältigen Pflanzen und den Fischen direkt am Empfang. Wir würden definitiv die vom Hotel angebotene Tour durch die Reisfelder empfehlen. Das war wirklich toll. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet, das Bett sehr bequem und riesig.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. We loved the beautiful nature surrounding the property, the delicious food, and especially the amazing villa we stayed in. The villa was beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing stay. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. Everyone made us feel very welcome and cared for throughout our stay. I highly recommend everyone to experience this hotel and, especially, to stay in one of their beautiful villas. It is truly something you should experience and enjoy at least once! We loved every moment of our stay and would definitely come back again🤍🌴✨

L’établissement offre un petit tour autour de l’hôtel dans les rizières.

Les chambres sont belles mais malheureusement mal insonorisées, ce qui fait que l’on entend tous les nuits des chambres supérieurs et pratiquement même les conversations. La piscines est belle mais dispose de peu de chaises longues par manque de place.

La habitación es hermosa, grande, la bañera y piscina increíbles. Ideal para estar con tu pareja y tener descanso y privacidad. Se agradece que el restaurante tenga servicio hasta las 10pm y room service. La ubicación súper, para estar a 30 min de la cuidad si te apetece más vida o fiesta, además tienen transporte gratis desde el hotel en ciertos horarios. Muy recomendable!

Como sugerencia, quitar el “césped “ de la decoración de la bañera, se ve muy bonito pero es muy incómodo para un baño. Dejar solo las flores 💖

The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A special thank you to Eri, who leads the tours. He is fun, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable, making every excursion both enjoyable and informative. We stayed in one of the Padi rooms (No. 3), which had everything needed for a perfect stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Cleaning of the room is immediately done when you take your breakfast. The food was excellent throughout our stay. You can order it either to your room or directly to the pool, and the quality is outstanding. One thing to be aware of: if you're booking this hotel, or any hotel located in or near rice fields, it's worth contacting the hotel beforehand to ask about the current state of the rice fields. When we arrived, they were lush, green, and beautiful. However, after the harvest season, the scenery will naturally look quite different. It's not a complaint, just something to keep in mind when planning your visit. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to Ubud several times a day, which is a great convenience. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Breakfast without buffet doesn’t allow to take for example as many plates as you would like, but in any case the quality is high

Everything is perfect. We cannot find a single thing that we dont like. The experience is so surreal that this place exists in the world. Amazing staff that super kind, super efficient, place is amazing. The experience from check in until checking out is just fantastic.

L’hôtel est au calme au milieu des rizières c’est très beau et dépaysant. La literie est de bonne qualité. Le petit déjeuner est varié et bon. Le restaurant est très bien. Le personnel est très gentil et attentionné.

La localisation est le point négatif : même si l’hôtel est à 10km de Ubud il faut 50min à 1heure pour le trajet. L’insonorisation est mauvaise on entend tout des chambres voisines. Le SPA est cher pour Bali.

Nous avons beaucoup apprecie le service et l'accueil du personnel, toujours tres devoue. Le cadre avec vue sur les rizieres est superbe, loin du tumulte et de la polution d'Ubud. Piscine et jardin ainsi que l'espace offert dans la chambre. Nous avons essaye la navette tres confortable de l'hotel en direction de Ubud. La cuisine etait raffinee.

Dommage que le petit dejeuner debute a 7h et pas a 6h30 pour se rendre aux activites. La chambre meriterait plus d'eclairage.

Magnifique séjour au The Wakanda. Confortable, personnel au top, très belle vue sur les rizières, au calme, excellent restaurant (même si un peu cher pour Bali), on a adoré. Navette pratique pour aller jusqu'à Ubud.

Seul petit bémol: le tour dans les rizières proposé n'était pas intéressant. Notre "guide" du jour semblait se demander ce qu'il faisait là...

Je recommande vivement ! La chambre était très spacieuse et confortable avec la piscine bien entretenue vue sur les rizières. Le petit déjeuner ainsi que le restaurant étaient délicieux. Nous avons également testé le spa qui a répondu au delà de nos attentes avec le personnel très à l’écoute.

Tutto meraviglioso e magico, il posto piú bello in cui siamo mai stati. Posizione stupenda immersa nelle risaie, una pace unica. Stanza bellissima, spaziosa e tipica curata nei minimi dettagli. Colazione buona e staff in generale gentilissimo.

Essere andati via, saremmo rimasti un altro mesetto.

De accommodatie heeft een mooie uitstraling, maar de ervaring voelde minder luxe dan verwacht. Het geheel was vrij commercieel: vrijwel iedere servicegerichte mededeling werd gevolgd door informatie over extra kosten. Dat deed afbreuk aan het gastvrije gevoel. Daarnaast viel het diner tegen en vonden wij de kwaliteit niet passen bij de vijfsterrenuitstraling en het prijsniveau van het resort.
