Reviewed Sep 17, 2026I had a wonderful stay! The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the hospitality was exceptional. I truly felt at home, as if I were staying with family. Everything was close by, which made the location even more convenient. Thank you so much for everything! I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again. ❤️

No AC in the room, I know that that was included in the informations before booking but I slept roundabout 3 hours overall in the two nights because the room was EXTREMELY hot! I did even go up to zhe rooftop to sleep there at 30 degrees celsius because there room was unbelievabely hot.

The room and bathroom were uncomfortable and poorly cleaned, with problematic doors. Some toilet and bathroom doors didn't lock. There was frequent noise at times when silence was needed for sleep.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Nuestra estancia en Aftas Hostel Taghazout fue genial. Éramos un grupo mixto de 8 personas y nos sentimos muy bien recibidos desde el primer momento. Es un alojamiento familiar, y todos fueron súper atentos, amables y agradables con nosotros. El desayuno estaba riquísimo, todo estaba muy limpio y el ambiente era muy acogedor. Además, tiene una muy buena ubicación para disfrutar de Taghazout. Sin duda, repetiríamos. ¡Muchas gracias por todo! 😊

Malheureusement sur les deux nuits réservées j’ai du en passer une dans un hôtel à proximité mais qui était à l’inverse de Aftas pas très propre.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my stay, not because of the hostel staff, who were friendly, but because of some of the other guests in the dormitory. There was a lot of noise and a general lack of respect for people who were trying to rest. The rooftop is a really nice space and could be a great place to relax, but unfortunately, it was difficult to enjoy it because of the same guests and the noise. The hostel itself has potential, but the experience was negatively affected by the behavior of some guests. I hope the management can do more to enforce quiet hours and respect for shared spaces.

Très déçue par cet hostel. La propreté était insuffisante : draps jamais changés durant la semaine, sanitaires rarement nettoyés et présence de moisissures dans les douches. La chambre était extrêmement humide, mal ventilée et les serviettes ne séchaient même pas pendant la nuit. Le petit-déjeuner annoncé comme inclus n’a été servi qu’une seule fois en une semaine. Le personnel était quasiment inexistant et il était difficile de savoir qui travaillait réellement sur place. Plusieurs douches n’avaient pas de verrou fonctionnel, ce qui posait un problème de sécurité et d’intimité. L’ambiance générale ne nous a pas fait nous sentir à l’aise ou en sécurité. Enfin, les photos de l’annonce ne reflètent pas la réalité, notamment la cuisine qui était sale et mal entretenue. Je suis restée uniquement faute d’alternative abordable à la dernière minute. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

Un petit problème avec l’eau le premier soir, mais résolu le lendemain matin, et une poignée de la porte de douche qui était cassée.

Le logement était sale, les serviettes sale avec des traces (💩). De nombreux courant d’air. La salle de bain était sale/ très vétuste. Concernant le bruit n’en parlons pas. On entendait tout. Un jour de 10cm au dessus de notre porte de chambre.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Die Gastgeber waren sehr lieb und haben immer schnell geantwortet. Das Bett war gemütlich und die Bettdecke, auch bei der eher kalten Nacht, dick genug. Ich glaube, das Hostel wird eher von ruhigeren Leuten gebucht. Zumindest war die Atmosphäre untereinander sehr angenehm und rücksichtsvoll. Die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön und perfekt, um dort zu frühstücken. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und war zumindest an einem von zwei Nächten ziemlich umfangreich.
Außer der Dachterrasse gibt es keinen anderen Aufenthaltsort. Da es sehr windig war und die Dachterrasse sehr offen ist, war es dort teilweise nicht so gemütlich. Das Bett war gemütlich, ich fand es allerdings etwas beängstigend ohne Geländer auf dem Etagenbett oben zu schlafen. Vorhänge am Bett für ein bisschen Privatsphäre wären auch nett. Der Schlafraum ist mit 3 Etagenbetten schon eher eng und es gibt wenig Stauraum fürs Gepäck.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2026Auberge exceptionnelle ! Nous avons passé 3 semaines chez Mohammed et Fatima cette année, et 10 jours l’an passé. Aller à Taghazout sans passer du temps dans cette auberge n’est pas la même expérience. En quelques mots : petit-dej de très bonne qualité, lieu de rencontre infaillible, espaces communs (rooftop, salon d’extérieur, zone « bronzette » super agréables), sans parler de la gentillesse et de l’accueil des hôtes, qui rendent ce lieu incontournable. Le ménage est irréprochable, le couscous du vendredi (offert par la famille) préparé par Fatima est le meilleur que nous ayons mangé (produits frais du marché, plus d’une demi journée de préparation). La localisation de l’auberge en plein centre du village en haut de la rue est un bel atout : nuits calmes et siestes possibles, ce qui n’est pas le cas pour la plupart des auberges qui s’empilent sur la rue passante. La famille de Fatima et Mohammed vivant dans le même établissement que ses voyageurs, les échanges sont facilités , les relations se tissent naturellement et ils sont toujours de bons conseils. On a vraiment l’impression de faire partie de la famille. Vous allez nous manquer ! Merci encore pour tout ! 🫶 Commentaire de mon amie Danielle : Un accueil exceptionnel ! Mohammed, Fatima et leur famille symbolisent l'accueil légendaire du Maroc, généreux, sincère et joyeux. Fatima nous prépare msemmens et cakes délicieux, les produits locaux servis à volonté sont de très bonne qualité, comme l'amlou d'amandes, l'huile d'olive de la campagne.. Mohammed participe activement, d'autant plus qu'il est un ancien cuistot et marin, et apporte sa bienveillance, sa bonne humeur en plus de ses connaissances de la mer, utile aux surfers. Je vous laisse découvrir tous les bienfaits (notre linge est lavé et étendu gracieusement par nos hôtes, etc...).
Rien à redire, tout est parfait !

Everything was clean and well-kept, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I loved how quiet it was at night. you can really hear the ocean and rest well. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for comfort and calm.

Non risponde al bisogno primario di un posto per pernottare: dormire. Le pareti sono sottilissime, si sente qualsiasi rumore e spostamento degli altri ospiti, in più la nostra camera era di fianco al bagno, cosa che ha solo peggiorato la situazione. Scarso l'arredo della stanza, non ci sono comodini o appendini dove mettere i propri oggetti personali o anche solo appendere gli asciugamani bagnati.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2026Lovely located with views from the roof terrace over the ocean. Comfortabel beds. Well equipped roof terrace kitchen and a fridge to share. Also the breakfast is very good. Rooftop furniture is also Comfortabel.
One toilet door can 't be locked though it's an easy fix. But... that's also Morocco 😀
