The house was welcoming and lovely, but what made the experience there so nice was Sandra. She's such a lovely and caring person!

Besides ftom the ned otself there is not much space in the room. Also, location quite far from most of the famous attractions in Coromandel when compared to towns like Whitianga or Coromandel.

Sandra was a great host. Good conversation. Great coffee, and she was able to advise on activities we could do such as hikes, etc. Her advice on top eateries in Waihi was absolutely on the ball! Her home is impeccable, a lovely clean environment. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Sandra, and best of luck with all your ventures this year.

The perfect host who is friendly but respects personal space as well. Sandra has thought of everything for our/your stay and has everything available, she didn’t have to at all but also helped me find a charger which wasn’t easy to find.

Sandra, our host was lovely. She met us on arrival and explained the accommodations and local area to us. A very comfortable stay.

Das Zimmer ist gemütlich und befindet sich in einer ruhigen und sicheren Wohnlage, welches fußläufig vom Stadtzentrum erreichbar ist. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Sandra, ich habe mich sehr wohl bei ihr gefühlt. Sie ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben gemütliche Fernsehabende verbracht und einen gemeinsamen Ausflug unternommen. Ihre Küche und das Badezimmer habe ich mit genutzt und konnte mich auch in ihren wunderschönen Garten setzen.

Die super liebe und warmherzige Begrüßung. Ich bekam viele Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Das Bett war super bequem und die Wohnung sauber und ruhig. Ich habe traumhaft geschlafen. Ich war nur auf der Durchreise und hatte eine Auto. Die Lage war für mich also auch perfekt.

Super friendly host. Really comfortable bed.

The bed was very comfortable and the whole place is very clean. The host was also accommodating my first night and let me use the kitchen in a pinch, even though it's not on the listing.

I was disappointed by the host's attitude and feel that the 9.3 rating it currently has isn't very accurate. I've never stayed in a place where there were so many little rules and stipulations over the smallest things... 1. I took a shower and some water got out onto the floor unfortunately. She then chastised me for not putting a shower mat down, when I was never instructed to do that previously, and couldn't even find the shower mat because my vision is bad without my contacts in. It's not something to blame the guest over. 2. I took a 15 minute shower after a long day of hiking, and was told to be "more conservative of my water usage" and keep showers to 10 minutes or less. As if we live in a cabin? This is so absurd, I've stayed in many people's houses and never had a problem with that. She should really mention that beforehand. 3. Went on a weird rant about my country's election and said "I don't know what's wrong with the men jn your country." Like how is that a Happy Space? I just have to laugh along at that point because if I disagree or add some nuance to the discussion, then the rest of my stay is awkward. You shouldn't go on rants about the people in the guests' home countries. Felt so uncomfortable. 4. She could also be a bit warmer/friendlier. She wasn't necessarily mean,, but I just never felt welcomed. She seemed to be in a bad mood half the time, very different from the standard Kiwi hospitality.

The host was very sweet and made us feel very welcome in her house. She provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. A lovely stay overall!

I had a very good stay! Very clean space. Very nice. Good location to go everywhere. Sandra was a sweetheart! Good and nice person and gave me good travel advice. I can highly recommend this place.

We felt so incredibly welcomed by Sandra in her beautiful renovated home. Peaceful location, very comfy room, great cups of tea and a lot of insider tips what to see in the surrounding area (which is quite beautiful). It is a HAPPY SPACE indeed.

Fantastic location, only a 5 minute walk into the town but zero traffic up and down the street. House and garden superb, as well as the bedroom. The shower pressure is something I will dream about for a very long time. To top it all off, Sandra is a lovely woman with amazing knowledge about a lot of the region. Will be coming here on our next trip to Waihi :)

Only the weather - which was still more predictable than back home!

Newly renovated,very clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful in suggesting places to eat in the town or visit. She made us a nice ,simple breakfast.

Sandra ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Es werden 2 Schlafzimmer vermietet, also maximal 4 Gäste im Haus. Sehr ruhige Nebenstraße, also gut geschlafen.

Kochen kann man nicht, nur die Mikrowelle benutzen und Kaffe und Tee kochen. Aber vielleicht war das auch nicht im Inserat beschrieben.

Sandra ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin und ein wundervoller, herzlicher Mensch wo man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Sie teilt ihr Haus gerne mit den Gästen (2 Zimmer werden vermietet) und die Gäste sind in allen Räumlichkeiten jederzeit willkommen. Das Teilen vom Badezimmer war kein Problem, es wurde jeden Tag sehr ordentlich geputzt. Das Bett war sehr bequem, besonders toll fand ich dass die Vorhänge den Raum bei Bedarf gut abgedunkelt haben sodass man ausschlafen konnte. Alles war sehr sauber und mit wohnlichem Charakter. Für das Frühstück standen Ceralien, MIlch, Toast, Aufstriche bereit. Die Küche konnte mit Ausnahme vom Herd jederzeit genutzt werden. Schöne Sitzgelegenheit im Garten und Parkplatz vor der Tür. Sandra hat sogar einen Fahrservice angeboten und viele hilfreiche Tipps zur Freizeitgestaltung gegeben.

The location was great for our stay. Sandra was very welcoming and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

Sandra is an absolute delight! She opened up her new home for me and the room itself, the bathroom everything is super clean and she helped me with a lot of planning since she knows what’s going on! I can highly recommend to stay at her place. Shopping for groceries is close by and there is also a place to wash your clothes in the center. Oh, and the coffee from Waihi coffee roasters was just amazing!:)

The owner was nice and ready to help with everything. The bathroom was extremely clean, bed cosy.

Breakfast is either cereals and milk of bead and some toppings. Its okay but my expectations were higher.

Sandra es muy amable y atenta, fue muy agradable conocerla. La habitación en la que nos alojamos era cómoda y estaba muy limpia. El desayuno era variado y muy rico, sobre todo el café. L ubicación es muy buena para visitar la zona de Rotorua, Karangahake etc. El alojamiento tiene Wifi y si vas en coche no hay problemas para aparcar.

Realmente todo estaba acorde. Avisar a quien quiera alojarse con Sandra que al ser un B&B compartes baño con ella y otro huésped, esto no nos supuso ningún problema. Todo es saber compartir.

Mega Saubere Unterkunft mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Sie ist super Nett und hat uns herzlich aufgenommen.

The host was super kind and knowledgeable about the area. Such a great lady. The facilities were fabulous too. It got quite cold in the night in August but the electric blankets and heaters made the stay very comfortable. The shower was wonderful and the kitchen well equipped if you wanted to make any meals. Location was great. Very close to the main town with supermarkets, laundrette, etc. 10/10 would stay there again.

Sandra’s has a very cozy house, from the beginning we felt like home! For breakfast we had different options, like cereals, jam and honey for bread, but we could also use the well equipped kitchen. Sandra is a really nice host and recommended us a lot of things for our travel! we would definitely come back!

Sandra is one of the nicest hosts ive ever met, from the beginning this place provides you with a home-feeling. I was allowed to be in the living room (tv) whenever I wanted to even when she invited a friend for dinner. Super clean, good breakfast, very safe incl safe parking. Super comfy bed

Like in many nz homes (sound) insulation is not good but there is nothing to do about it.

Rustig gelegen en toch dichtbij centrum. Erg netjes. Bijzonder gastvrij. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Zelfs op zeer korte termijn glutenvrij ontbijt geregeld.

The breakfast, the host, the advices to visit

A beautiful home which was spotless and so cosy. Plenty of parking and in a perfect location and very easy to find. The host was very easy going and we really enjoyed talking to her. Breakfast was delicious and having kitchen facilities was a great bonus. Would recommend Happy Space to anyone!

Friendly, personal quiet safe space

This lovely BnB was just what we needed after too many hostel dorms: quiet, spotlessly clean, cozy and close to Karangahake Gorge. Breakfast was yummy and we got plenty of recommendations for the next few days. Would highly recommend!
