Reviewed Aug 12, 2026The lady who greeted me the first night was very upbeat and sweet. The proximity to the beach was really nice, and there were shops within walking distance. Another plus was that there were no dogs to watch out for on the premises.
There was so much mold that some pillows looked peppery underneath the pillowcases. We bought two large bottles of bleach to remove mold and mildew from the shower stall, bathroom ceiling, and ceiling right above the bed. We managed to save one pic of the mold above the bed but were too busy cleaning the toilet area, and we removed the pillows immediately due to allergies. There was no heat, but turning the oven on helped out somewhat.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026This a real gem of a cottage. For the small price you pay, you get so much value. Lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms, lovely bathroom with large walk in shower. Ultra comfy beds and an enclosed pet friendly small garden with a barbecue. Communication was excellent. Close to the beach. Definitely recommended.
The only problem is the fridge. It makes sounds all day and night, as if a small animal is stuck inside it. Almost like crying and groaning sounds. We had to switch the fridge off at night to get sleep.

I've requested early check in as I was preparing for the function when I arrived at the gate the boss or manager was so fussy, but he just let me in just to drop the bags. I ended up doing make up at my frnds place. That's the only bad experience

Shower and bathroom have serious mold problem. Place could use a good clean, there were cigarette butts all over the balcony when I arrived and stayed there the rest of my stay. Bathrooms basin does not drain properly.

Reviewed Dec 24, 2025The location was amazing. A quick walk down the road to the Gonubie Boardwalk. The view is absolutely stunning.
The room we were in was not thoroughly cleaned. The corners were collecting dust, the windows were in desperate need of a wash. Attention to detail can be given. Check in procedure needs some fixing. We stood at the gate for a while before we reached someone to allow us in.

Beach is within the walking distance - this fact allows you to take the mind of things and come back with a better perspective for your work.

There was mold EVERYWHERE. Alongside hair in our bathrooms and beds. We also found it very dirty and most things looked like they haven't been wiped down in forever.
