Sky Village

This guesthouse is located right in front of the jetty and close to the shop, restaurants and beaches. I had a relaxing stay in the privacy of my cozy room and ventilated patio/sitting area. The room was spacious, well furnished and air conditioned. The only item missing was a mini fridge however the hosts were kind to let me use the common fridge for my personal beverages. Breakfast was included in the room price and it included fruit, juice, coffee or tea, eggs and toast with butter and jam or roshi with mashuni, according to personal preferences. Upon request and advance reservation, the hosts can also prepare local dishes for dinner. The hosts also assisted me with booking my return airport speedboat transfers which was great. Overall, a very nice place with friendly hosts and ideal location on Fehendhoo island.

The lack of digital payment infrastructure in this establishment, and on the island by extent, was a big challenge. I advise the guests to bring sufficient cash in US dollars and/or Maldivian rufiyaa as there is no ATM machine and no foreign currency exchange office and extremely limited places to pay by card on the island. The only shop on the island only accepts cash.

Excellent location, friendly staff always ready to help, clean, spacious comfortable room, cosy restaurant and the best food in Maldives so far, after visiting more than 10 local islands!!
