Tropical Tree

Wir waren in der Nebensaison im Tropical Tree und sind nachhaltig begeistert. Man bekommt alles was man braucht problemlos in der Unterkunft. Die Auswahl für Mittag- und Abendessen ist gigantisch, sehr günstig, die Portionen sind riesig und es schmeckt alles super lecker! Die frischen Säfte und Shakes die man zu jeder Tageszeit bekommt sind auch der Wahnsinn! Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand an einem Steg. Der weg zum Bikini Beach ist nicht weit und es stehen Liegen vom Hotel dort. Das Personal ist super super nett und freundlich. Wir wurden von einem Mitarbeiter sogar für sehr überschaubares Geld auf die nächste Insel gefahren. Das Zimmer ist sauber und sehr geräumig. Das offene Bad ist sehr schön!

2 "negative" Punkte gibt es: das Bett ist zwar riesengroß aber wirklich sehr sehr hart und der Bikini Beach, wenn man nicht direkt den neben dem Hotel nutzen will, weil dort nicht all zu viel Platz ist, ist relativ weit weg (20 Min zu Fuß). Wir glauben aber, dass die Unterkunft auch einen Shuttleservice anbietet, diesen haben wir aber nicht genutzt.

Il cibo potrebbe essere migliorato, più che altro la cottura soprattutto del pesce che nella serata BBQ era esageratamente cotto al punto da risultare troppo asciutto e privato delle sue proprietà nutritive. Peccato perché la materia prima è davvero eccezionale (tonno pescato giornalmente)

Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt! Das Personal war so aufmerksam und kinderfreundlich. Man ist in 2 Minuten am Bikinistrand neben dem Hotel. Zum etwas weiter entfernten Sandbankstrand kann man wenn man möchte jeden Tag hingefahren werden. Die Insel ist aber an sich sehr klein, also man kann auch alles wunderbar fußläufig machen.

Alle extrem freundlich und jeden Tag gab es frische Handtücher und die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet.

Das Haupthaus mit Restaurant befindet sich direkt am Strand, so dass man alle Mahlzeiten am Strand mit Blick auf‘s Meer genießen kann. Sowohl morgens als auch abends gibt es ein absolut tolles Buffet. Das gesamte Team ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit - kein Wunsch blieb offen. Es herrscht eine fast familiäre Atmosphäre, und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass wir sämtliche Schnorchel- und Angelausflüge zu zweit buchen konnten - kein Massentourismus wie auf anderen Inseln. Es war wirklich alles perfekt, und wir spürten einen Hauch von Luxus und kommen sehr gern wieder. Einen großen Dank an das gesamte Team!

Wyspa : bardzo mała I niezbyt czysta , praktycznie brak plaży. Do najbliższej niewielkiej plaży trzeba było przejść około 10 min , większa duża plaza wymagała spaceru około 40 min przez las. Brak plaży przy hotelu Hotel: bardzo ładny, zadbany z dużą otwarta, zewnętrzna restauracja. W hotelu mona wynająć rowery lub sprzęt wodny . Ponieważ jest to barszcz mała wyspa a hotel jest jedyny na wyspie ( dwa male gues house) ma monopol na wszystko. Na wyspie nie ma innych restauracji, jedynie ie 2 sklepy. Przy zameldowaniu miałam bardzo nie miła sytuację związana z ilością miejsc noclegowych. Dokonałam rezerwacji dla 5 dorosłych osób a mieliśmy w pokojach tylko dwa 2 osobowe łóżka. Obsługa odmówiła wstawienia dodatkowego łóżka. Musiałyśmy dodatkowo zapłacić za dostawkę pomimo rezerwacji pokoi dla 5 osób. Manager hotelu nie chciał nam pomóc, nie chciał spotkać sie i znaleźć rozwiązania. Booking nie miał również informacji o dodatkowych opłatach ktore zaskoczyły nas na miejscu . Hotel nie pobiera opłaty przez booking , klienci muszą płacić na miejscu najlepiej gotowka , bo za płatność kartą naliczana jest również dodatkowa opłata w wysokości 4%prowizji. W innych hotelach na malediwach nie było takiej sytuacji . Uważam że jest to wprowadzanie klientów w błąd. Śniadania i kolacje były w formie bufetu, bardzo smaczne. Wyspa: bardzo mała I nudna , brak plaży to duży minus. Musiałyśmy pływać na inną wyspę Fulhadhoo prywatna motorówka, można również skorzystać z lokalnego promu który rano kursuje rano o godz 7 i wraca o 17.00

Velké pohodlné postele v pokojích s předsíní a vlastním soukromým dvorkem se zahrádkou. Koupelna byla nezvykle umístěna venku v soukromém prostoru ozdobená rostlinami. Krásná liduprázdná bikiny pláž v docházkové vzdálenosti. Rádi se vrátíme i kvůli perfektnímu personálu a výbornému jídlu.

Kola byla těžce ovladatelná.

Gran experiencia. Nos organizaron ellos el traslado en barco desde Male y lo pagamos en hotel con tarjeta (muy cómodo). Van a buscarte al puerto cuando llegas. Está en la misma playa, zonas comunes en la arena, muy bien decorado, con mucha vegetación. Habitación muy grande (30m), cama king size con baño privado exterior (15m) ducha al aire libre chula. La cocina es muy buena, con variedad, calidad y precio (venia gente de la isla a comer ahí). comes en la misma playa. La atención excepcional, pendiente de todo, muy agradables . Te organizan excursiones, (fantástica excursión nadar con tiburones) a muy buen precio. comparando con otros Te graban en video, drones, fotos etc A la noche vienen rayas a la orilla. Bikini Beach a 50 metros muy bonita entre la selva. Para repetir. muy recomendable.

Byliśmy zaopiekowani jak rodzina, rewelacyjny menadżer JaBu, z którym był super kontakt przed przyjazdem i w czasie całego pobytu, doradzał, pomagał i organizował wycieczki. Ekstra obsługa w restauracji hotelowej, w osobie Terana i drugiego kolegi o którego imienia niestety zapomniałem zapytać, ogólnie wszyscy bardzo uczynni i bezinteresowni. Wielkie pozdrowienia dla Kapitana, łowienie z nim to wielka przyjemność. Nie mogę zapomnieć też o Panu który uratował moją dokumentację video na Manta Safari, oraz Panowie którzy dbali o czystość w pokoju każdego dnia, wymieniali ręczniki i uzupełniali wodę oraz kawę i herbatę. Atrakcją hotelu jest karmienie płaszczek na przy hotelowej plaży, które podpływają codziennie o 19:00. Cisza i spokój. Dwie piękne plaże bikini, jedna bliżej hotelu mniejsza ale równie piękna, druga oddalona 20 minut spacerem, lub krócej rowerem, przestronna z bajecznymi zachodami słońca i rozległymi płyciznami i obłędnym kolorem wody.

To raczej sugestia nie negowanie, trochę bardziej miękkie materace bo normalnie bolały mnie boki miednicy :D

Guest house sopravvalutata addirittura da 9,4 booking. Mi ero basata sulle valutazioni degli ospiti precedenti molto fiduciosa. all’arrivo ho trovato una guest house molto semplice con una cucina terribile, tutti i servizi a pagamento molto cari, senza acqua calda e con una pressione della doccia molto molto bassa. Courtesy set (shampoo, balsamo, doccia schiuma) insufficiente per 4 giorni per 3 persone. Voi direte sei alle Maldive e fa caldo a cosa serve l’acqua calda? Noi abbiamo trovato tutti i giorni brutto tempo, vento e faceva piuttosto fresco. Una doccia non fredda di ritorno dalla spiaggia sarebbe stata gradita specialmente alla bambina. La struttura non è particolarmente bella, direi semplice. Le escursioni hanno prezzo da capogiro: per esempio più di 100 dollari a testa per pescare. Ragazzi si tratta di pesca un passatempo piuttosto economico per giunta su un’isola di pescatori in cui non c’è nulla da fare se non passeggiare e fare una nuotata. Anche il noleggio delle biciclette per percorrere l’isola che è piccolissima (2km) è a pagamento. Inoltre è tutto lentissimo. Per mangiare a cena bisogna ordinare dopo pranzo perché c’è un solo ragazzo in cucina che fa tutto da solo. Per ordinarne un cocco te lo portano dopo un’ora e 10 minuti. Dei tempi imperiali per ogni cosa! Per noi europei è difficile. Il ragazzo non sa cucinare ma si improvvisa cuoco facendo delle vere e proprie castronate. Su un’isola in mezzo al mare il pesce dovrebbe essere squisito invece è terribile. Un pesce intero alla griglia sono capaci di lasciarlo sulla griglia così tanto che la pelle si stracca dalla carne, la carne si asciuga tanto da diventare stopposa e dopo per finire lo ricoprono completamente di salsa barbecue. Solo russi, polacchi e americani riescono a mangiarlo. Idem il tonno che dovrebbe essere il pesce più pescato e la prelibatezza delle Maldive.

This is run like a mini resort, maybe 12 rooms; comfortable and well looked after, very nice beds and bedding, nicely landscaped, attentive staff, excellent location, probably the best all around stay that I found in my 5 island "tour" for the purpose of snorkeling and relaxing. The hotel has a very nice beach area with a few lounges and the "bikini beach" is a very short walk down the beach road, it is in a beautiful area with excellent swimming and some snorkeling (you have to look for it out from the hotel dining/lounging area, beyond where the boat is anchored and around the white buoy. Ask the owner/manager) . There are bicycles to rent

some of the bicycles need attention - make sure you get one with a seat that can be regulated, I actually strained my foot from trying to pedal with a very very low seat- pick one out the evening before and reserve it.

The room was clean and spacious. Outdoor bathroom was really charming. We loved how chilled everyone was and the overall atmosphere!

A very cozy guesthouse. We took a family room with a living room, a small terrace, and each bedroom had its own outdoor shower. Everything is very comfortable, nice and clean. Thanks to the administrator Rakib - he always sincerely asked how he could improve our stay, drove us on a buggy to a distant beach, was always ready to fulfill all our wishes, organized an excursion only for us three, and not in a group. Thanks to Teran, our waiter, all the stuff are all great. The snow-white linens are of excellent quality, the mattresses were good - we slept like babies, and beach towels are brought fresh to the terrace every day. Fehendhoo turned out to be a very unique island - lots of greenery, a long coastline, the entire southern side is given over to bikini beach, lizards, cranes, crabs, everything is drowned in flowers. At the hotel you can rent SAPs, bicycles, equipment for snorking, excursions to manta / dolphins / turtles / fishing / uninhabited islands - the price are very nice. The guys have the snork on the north side on the reef, but fish / moray eels / rays can be seen near the hotel too. It takes 2 minutes from the guesthouse to Bikini beach. You can swim in front of the hotel in a closed swimsuit, there is a slightly rocky bottom. Every evening, stingrays are fed at the hotel, and small sharks come too. The guesthouse has its own small shop (water, ice cream, noodles, suncream, water). On the island there are two cafes (in addition to the restaurant in the guesthouse), one shop (open by the hour due to Ramadan), one pharmacy, three streets. Yes, there is a bit of construction and a bit of trash, but in general it does not spoil the overall picture. If you are going to a local island, this is the norm. The breakfasts are modest, but we had enough of everything, you can always order smoothies or fresh from the menu for a little money. Our goal was a relaxing vacation, which we got in the end. We miss Fehendhoo already!

The mattress and pillows were a bit hard.

Excellent property, enjoy employers, room clean everyday towels also. Needed some stuff manager immediately provided it Beach on your feet, and cristal and warm water.

however need some improvement for people moving in wheelchair, just need implement wheelchair pathway. Buffet food need some improvements, but was acceptable, sometimes very delicious. Breakfast a little bit poor, …, lack of fruit variety.

It’s great place. Location: These are few remote islands, not very touristy, very pristine and nice. Hotel itself has own beach, and i think closest one to bikini beach, which makes it very comfortable. Food: good breakfast. It is simple but tasty and nutritious. All day long menu. Buffet dinner for very reasonable price. Room: simple but good, spacious, with biggest bed i have seen in my life. Outdoor shower (it’s private, but under the open sky) is very nice and makes jt special. Personal: absolutely amazing friendly and hospitable. Not greedy, always exact with money. Entertaining: sufficient excursions and watersports (same as in other guesthouses): sup, jer ski, fishing, etc. Every evening they feed stingrays, who come very close.

There are some mosquitoes on the island, but that’s not particularly hotel thing. Also some beachcleaning might get island even better.

Beautiful big luxury rooms with aircondition outside shower and every day fresh beachtowels. The team of the hotel is looking after you trying to give you always the best service. The food of the restaurant is very good and not too expensive - it is better to order from the menue if you think about taking HB. The island is beautiful has beautiful beaches without people but you have to plan snorkling with mantas and seeing the coral garden because there is no house reef.

Sometimes you miss a woman in the team of the hotel. It would help to create the beautiful beach area into a place where people like to stay and like to consume. Yes it is nice to feed and see the stingrays in the evening but maybe not where you like to swim in the morning.

The accomodation is very welcoming. Cute and big rooms, always clean, everything smelled very nice! Everyday cleaning, personal changed the sheets daily if there was even a little spot. I was impressed. A lot of plants and flowers when you get out of the room in the mini yard, to make you feel good. Restaurant was also very nice and clean. Food was great also, a lot of options to choose from. They even have a local shop, to buy everything you need. A lot of places on the beach to relax, and even on the beach a lot of trees with flowers. Personal was very kind and helpful with everything you needed, always looking to make our stay feel comfortable. The bikini beach is very close, and if you want to go to the further one with the sand bank, you have bicycles and they even provided transport to the beach and pick-up, wich for us was a really great thing. Every night you can feed the stingrays ❤️ that was a things I liked a lot. The island is very beautiful, with a lot of vegetation, a lot of flowers and nice people. For us it was a beautiful holiday! Tottaly recommend it.

The rooms are big and cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bikini beach is 3 minutes away and when we wanted to go to the further one, they provided transport. The island is very beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. If you don’t expect luxury, but rather a quiet and relaxed vacation, Tropical Tree is the perfect spot.

Our stay at Tropical Tree was great! The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was really good (we chose to have half board). Moreover the restaurant is located in a very nice place, on the beach and surrounded by palms. While swimming at the seaside in front of Tropical Tree we could see sea turtles, rays and sharks. We did a snorkeling trip, swimming inside the laguna of the atoll, and we really enjoyed it.

The Tropical tree is a great place to stay. It has its own beach. The rooms are very clean. The food is very good. Always well cooked. We had half board and it was a good choice. There are not a lot of other restaurants on the island. The Christmas beach BBQ party was great. We also had grilled fish other days. The stuff is very friendly and always ready to help. We take 2 boat trips and they were very interesting and well organized. We went for turtles trip and fish feeding. We didn’t see turtles but visited other interesting places for snorkeling. We would like to thank the owner Jabu for our stay.

The stay in Tropical Tree Guesthouse definitely made our holidays in Maldives. The treatment & highly professional way of interacting with the guests is phenomenal, and deserves all the praise. The guesthouse staff demonstrated a great level of enthusiasm and hospitality. (Despite of rather small size of the lodge and lack of any luxury). Very well done! The excursions offered by the hotel (we booked 2x fishing tours and snorkeling) were simply amazing (especially the fishing tours). It was different from any other plain vanilla „commercial“ tours we previously met other countries. The tours are being performed with high level of enthusiasm and efforts of the guides. We definitely recommend to visit the wonderful island and especially this hotel to everyone, who is willing to explore the „Real“- Maldives.

- The staff were friendly and made efforts to accommodate our needs. - The rooms were pleasant, clean, and well-scented. - Surprisingly, the wifi worked without any issues. - The hotel beach offered a nice view of the sea, perfect for relaxation. - Upon arrival, the staff met us at the harbor and transported us and our luggage to the hotel, which was convenient.

- The staff's limited English proficiency and apparent lack of enthusiasm for their job were noticeable. - We encountered a cockroach in the room on occasion. - The food, despite the chef's efforts, was generally average or even below average in taste. - Breakfasts were limited and lacking in flavor. - The hotel refused to accept bank transfers for payment, citing a nonexistent lack of an account, which seemed disingenuous. Beyond the hotel review: - Fehendhoo offered limited dining options, with only two restaurants available, both of which were disappointing. - The shops on the island were also quite limited, making it challenging to find a variety of provisions, adding inconvenience to our stay.

Overall Tropical Tree was peaceful place to stay - though the whole island was more calm than many other local islands in Maldives. We really liked the main building where the breakfast was served and the reception was placed. The location was really convenient for the harbour and the island’s few shops for a little grocery. Reasonable priced with everything you need!

When we checked in we filled the form with the disclaimer of any personal stuff keeped in the room without the safety box would be under guest’s full responsibility if something disappear. They could not provide the safety box at all to the room because the loss of the keys. That was not any big of a deal because the island is 200% safe but that’s the only ”negativity” we had and we carried all the personal items, passports and money etc. with us, which was not the most convinient. It is not negative point but good to know that there are only few shops and very few restaurants, which is good to acknowledge beforehand.

We hardly have said goodbye to this stay. Tropical Tree was the place where we felt like Home. All that because of the great and nice, funny and joyfull staff. Jabu, Bilash, Rakib and all others people did the best they could do, so we have an amazing vacation. We have enjoyed every single moment during our stay. Rooms are clean, big and cozy. They do cleaning every day. Food is very tasty, various and you are going to love it. We had breakfast included and the dinner we choose to get the house food preparation. We did manta safari and during the snorkelling we had a guy with us, in water, to guide us where the manta, fishies or coral are. Also they provide you for free, snorkelling equipment and if you want, they have canoe for free so you can explore the waters nearby island. Overall we had an excellent experience.
