Zia Cottage

A comfortable, well-appointed and beautiful holiday home, perfect for a relaxing break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the host's special touches made us feel very welcome. Will definitely return!

Beautiful place, warm and luxuriously appointed. Beautiful mountain views and river access. Fully fitted kitchen with everything you could need and more. All the little touches made us feel so welcome. Hot tub was divine. No farm dogs came on the property at any time.

Nothing

I loved absolutely everything. From the moment you step in you are met with suprise after suprise. The air is filled with a vanilla fragrance and the space and decor is stunning. Every need has been met - just take your clothes, a good book and food and relax. The garden area is a child's paradise (and adults).

Everything was perfect.

Everything on offer was 5 stars. Great location, spacious, well appointed kitchen with every available appliance. Clean and comfortable throughout. Comfortable beds, linen and towels. Beautiful environment being on a farm and on natures doorstep.

No complaints.

The extra additional things that the unit was stocked with made it feel like home away from home. Everything was there from the big things to the little extras. The unit was 100x better than advertised. What a pleasant surprise!!

There could have been a few more hangers in the closets but that was a very minor issue

Everything was awesome and you did think of everything.Nice break and reset from city life. 2nd time in 6 months and wil def come again.your cottage is Worldclass and even cover for loadshedding (BONUS).

Everything is Perfect

Stunning cottage in a beautiful quiet location. Chantal has thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and special. There are so many games and things to do even the children will love Zia cottage. All the little extras like the smoors for the outdoor fire make this a truly special stay.

There is nothing not to like.

Everything you need is there, and the beautiful patio and Jacuzzi just rounds everything off so perfectly. Always feel well rested when returning from Zia for a quick break away from the hustle and buzzle at home. Loved the new additions to the river view seating spot, and the house is always well equipped to have everything you need to feel at home away from home.

Well situated property between Tulbagh & Wolseley. The attention to detail is wonderful and the hosts are excellent, Chantal really goes the extra mile for her guests. Perfect base to explore the area, there are a lot of wine farms and adventure things to do, there are also walks and mountain biking and fishing available on site. Very comfortable home, the jacuzzi is definitely an added bonus and the friendly peacock and his harem of peahens are a lovely treat to have wondering around the garden. The viewing deck is a lovely spot to enjoy a sun downer or to meditate, and the fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows. The beds are super comfy, and you are guaranteed of a restful night' sleep Ultimate home away from home experience. Cannot fault this property at all.

We loved everything in Zia cottage starting from the luxury comfy beds, the full fitted kitchen, we enjoyed the TV channels on the comfy lounge sofas ❤ I love the braai area and the garden outside, I enjoyed the quietness away from the city noisy environment. My daughters loved the jacuzzi and the trampoline 👧👧 It was an amazing experience and good time we had there, thanks alot 💝

One thing I didn't like at Zia cottage was the front windows and door glass which at night, it turns to a mirror from inside so you can't see what's going on outside or if someone knocked the door you can see nothing, in the same time anyone from outside can see everything happening inside which is against privacy.... I wasn't feeling much safe at night because of that!!

Lots of activities for the whole family Including toddlers. Neat, clean, modern. The cottage was well equipped.

From the moment we stepped into the Cottage we all went WOW, the pictures do not do this place justice. It exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, had everything we needed and more. So much thought went into making you feel welcomed. Lots of extras like a various coffee, teas, rusks, olives, bread, milk, a fire-pit pack, fresh flowers and lovely toiletries. Lots of games and toys for kids. The hot tub is an extra cost but so worth it. It was so cold outside but with a fireplace inside, air-con as well as a gas heater we were good and cosy. Chantal’s communication and service was excellent. Thank you!

Nothing - loved everything. Wish we could stay longer.

Every detail was thought out, and the property had more than the basics i.e., ample wood, firelighters, ice, fresh flowers, rusks for breakfast, coffee, tea & sugar etc., the comfiest bed and linen, an incredible hot tub and more than enough towels and blankets to keep you sorted throughout your stay. You don't need to overpack - just bring your toothbrush!

The cottage exceeded our expectations. The level of detail was amazing. Everything you needed was there, very well equipped. Could not have asked for a better weekend away with the family. Highly recommended!

This property blew us away from the minute we walked in. The finishes, the touches, the spoils, the setting and everything it offers. A truly fabulous cottage!

Everything -traveling overseas for 7months Zia has been the best experience .

Everything was absolutely perfect! So many extras that was thought of in this luxury cottage. It was rather mind blowing! Loved every minute of of out time there.. From cooking in a beautiful kitchen, to the most comfortable rooms and bathrooms.. to the large jacuzzi and outside entertainment area. It was the PERFECT place to be with our best friends. We will definitely be back soon!!

There was nothing we didn't like!

This cottage has everything that one could need. It felt like home! A lot of effort, and thought, was put into ensuring it is comfortable. The cottage is quite spacious and well decorated. Kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. There is a laundry area, where you could do laundry if you have a long stay. The host added a nice touch by adding toiletry items that you may have forgotten at home. The cottage is a great place if you have kids. There is lots of space to run around at the back, and there is a little stream that runs through the property that is a source of entertainment for little one's. If you can spare a couple more Rands, the hot tub is a nice treat for your family. The hosts have kids, and have left some toys which our little one played with. Toys included a big trampoline, balls and floaties for the hot tub. This is definitely a nice touch as it kept our little one entertained. We had the pleasure of meeting the hosts. Very lovely couple. They are quite responsive to any queries and they will go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable. Zia is well located and a lot of attractions are within a reasonable driving distance.
