The host is amazing person and keep the rooms clean and today. Also the villa is located next to a few awsome restaurants like MyBurger and Seedevi.

No TV No AC at living room

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and kindly allowed us to drop off our bags before check-in. The location was great: very quiet, but only a short walk to the supermarket, restaurants and some of the historic sites. The shared kitchen and filtered water were very convenient, and the price was good.

There were only two power points in the room

We really enjoyed our stay here, we had the place to ourselves at the time and found it very comfortable and relaxing. Our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, he organised a tour guide to take us around Anuradhapura. He also brought us fruit which was a nice surprise. I had an injured arm and he gave me an extra pillow so I could sleep more comfortably. The location is great because you can walk places and don't necessarily need a ride. Overall we really liked staying here and would definitely book again if we came back.

I am writing to formally complain about a price discrepancy regarding my stay. ​When I made my reservation through the app, the confirmed price was Rs. 15,561. However, upon checkout, I was charged Rs. 18,827 which is a difference of Rs. 3266. As this constitutes a misrepresentation of the agreed-upon service price, I am not happy to use the booking.com app. because Rs. 18,827 for two days not worth at all with the provided facilities.

The property is a three-bedroom house with a living and dining area, along with a small kitchenette. Each bedroom is located on the ground floor and comes with a separate access key, ensuring privacy for guests. Shared facilities include a living room, dining area, and kitchenette, which is equipped with a small refrigerator, washing machine, rice cooker, and utensils. The location is excellent, with a well-known restaurant just 100 meters away. The neighborhood is calm, quiet, and feels safe. The owner is kind, cooperative, and attentive. The rooms are spacious and suitable for couples.

However, cleanliness could be improved as there were stains on the floor, which was also slippery. The water pressure in the shower was weaker than expected, making it less comfortable for bathing, though a large bucket and bowl in the bathroom would help as a practical alternative. The value for money is satisfactory, though I would like to emphasize that there are other alternatives in town within the same price range that offer better overall quality.

È stato un vero piacere soggiornare qua! La posizione è perfetta, defilato dal centro, posto tranquillo ma comunque vicino e facilmente raggiungibile. Il proprietario è una persona veramente simpatica e carina, ci ha aiutati ad organizzare i diversi giri e la ripartenza! Un posto in cui tornare :)

I booked Malin Villa for my parents’ 2-night stay in Anuradhapura, and they had an excellent experience. They told me the place was very clean, peaceful, and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect during their stay. The location was also great—close to key attractions and easy to get around. My parents were very happy with the service and hospitality, and I’m really glad I chose this place for them. Highly recommended for a calm and pleasant stay in Anuradhapura!

We had a pleasant stay at Malin Villa in Anuradhapura. We were two adults and one child staying in a triple room, which was offered at a very reasonable price. The property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and we felt very safe throughout our stay thanks to the good security measures in place. The villa also has a small kitchen and a dining area, which was convenient for light meals. It's located close to Jayanthi Mawatha, making it easy to access the main road, and there are some nice restaurants nearby as well. Overall, a comfortable and value-for-money place to stay. Highly recommended!

Very clean, big room, friendly host

Breakfast was not provided. Directed to a nearby restaurant. No caretaker at the property. We visited during New Year's time, so perhaps that was the reason for not having a caretaker. Recommend informing the guests of the situation beforehand to avoid issues at the time of checking in. The location was very good, being close to the religious sites and bypassing the town. The place was clean and provided kitchen and dining facilities. Tea/sugar was provided with all utensils to prepare tea.
