Very close to udawalawa national Park and very quiet place and very beautiful location.The sweet sound of birds that is constantly heard And fresh air Fills the body and mind with freshness.Their food is very tasty and the prices are very low.The rooms are very clean and they are very large .They are also equipped with all the facilities. We booked our safari trip from them. The prices are very low and the facilities are very good. We recommend this safari tour to everyone. The amazing thing here is that everything they sell is cheap and the service is top notch. If you're going to Udawalawe, don't miss this place. Thank you greenwood

The staff is exeptional in every way. Whatever you need help with they will do their best indeed. Owner is a knowledgable person to talk to from suggestions on another journey trip to travel on public transport to science nature cultural matters far to politics. Anything you want to discuss do not hesitate to ask. Very kind people too. Nowadays it's rear to meet such a people. Highly recommended to other travelers. 👌

The hotel does not exist for the past one year but still available for booking.

Owner scammed guest to purchace safari ticket to get the 'room price' and at a dif hotel (green heaven) 4km from the original location. Greenwood hotel does not exist. He claimed it under renovation/repair but there's nothing at the location. Just a big signage. No building at all. When you give bad review, owner threatened you. He claimed he is police officer.

Outstanding service, the best we have enjoyed in Sri Lanka, the whole family were so kind and helpful. Dulin deserves a special mention as he went over and above what anyone could expect, truly exceptional. Great safari tour, great food and very fair prices. Cannot recommend highly enough, wish we could have stayed longer! And a warm shower finally!

They welcomed me warmly. So I felt like it was my home. What is especially worth mentioning is that they have the lowest prices for safaris in the Udawalawe area.. But I must say that their safari service is of the highest quality. All their rooms are very high quality and very clean. Their food is very delicious. I have unforgettable memories with them.

The host was very helpful and kind, he picked me up from the junction point with his car. The room was okay and clean. The breakfast was included and it was good. I also had dinner it was cheap and portion size was big. I booked safari with them and it was cheaper than other safari options that I asked. This stay was a budget friendly option with no downside.

Could not have asked for better service and a warm welcome!! We were scammed by so many other places with the same owner who would not accept us cos we wanted to do safari that was cheaper. Greenwood came to the rescue, and we had the most wonderful stay!

The host is very nice and generous, it was one of the best accommodations I have been to in Sri Lanka, clean, peaceful and with super kind staff.

The only thing was that I could hear squirrels running on the roof in the middle of the night, someone who doesn’t know there are squirrels might be startled but except for this detail everything was perfect.

Just the initial feeling of being moved somewhere else without being told in advance, apart from this everything was great. This happend 1 day after a similar situation with other hotel, so that might have intensified the negativity of the situation.

He have good knowledge of Sri Lanka .you can get many knowledge with him around the country locations. This hotel have scooter bike rental we get one rental scooter bike and we visiting to the village it is amazing things. This hotel have many special tours. Price amazing this Safari price lowest of all over area...we state two nights of the hotel we increase one more day stay in this hotel they have very special tour 500 million years old cave tour this tour can take only for this hotel this is very really valuable an important tour do not miss this one. Breakfast was amazing very clean hotel and bed performance very high we get perfect sleep during our Sri Lanka tour of this place
