The location is perfect.

Could be cleaner and I had bites from an insect in my body while sleeping there. Also no elevator for heavy luggage.

A bit disappointed with the condition of the gym. There was no restaurant and I only got to know about this on arrival.

The location is perfect. It’s on the beach , 3 minutes walk from the mall , very close to many restaurants and local transportation is right outside. It’s very clean and quiet. It’s amazing for the price.

The location was great, loved how close it is to the beach. We also liked the pool. Staff was courteous and helpful.

The hotel is very dated and almost empty. There is no restaurant on the compound with limited alternate solutions offered for breakfast/coffee on mornings. There is a huge need for the room floors to he clean alot more and also better up keep of the facilities. This hotel also feels like there is limited security.

What I liked about the property is that the location is excellent. A lot of restaurants and the mall is walking distance. Therefore, you don’t need a rental. Also, the beds were comfortable. Lastly, the staff are really nice and friendly.

It is an older property. My plane was late so I arrived in the night and I wasn’t even sure where the reception was. The place looked deserted. I wondered if I was the only person in the hotel. The room had only one 110 outlet located in an inconvenient spot. The phone did not have any instructions, I could not get a dial tone, so I had to use my cellphone to call the hotel reception to get an iron and an adapter. Other than that initial experience, once I had settled in I found the place comfortable.

I didn’t end up staying at the property Allamanda is a hotel I have stayed at in previous years on 3 other occasions so was disappointed about what happened

I didn’t like the fact that I was given a dirty room the floor was dirty the toilet was untidy the sheets on the bed had make up on it which says the sheets were not changed

Room was clean and comfortable which served all basic needs. Adding a kettle & plastic spoon to cater for tea drinkers will enhance the experience Grounds were expansive and well kept Swimming pool was maintained up to my standard Resort is ideally located to many food places + Supermarket Understandably the resort is not new and without all these fancy amenities but once you can manage meal options, it provides serenity + low cost. Being basic, you have the opportunity to customise your vacation stay as you like. I and my friend were content and gave Allamanda a good rating maybe 7/8 out of 10

The location could not be better, right off grande anse Beach and dead in the center of severe food options, bus station and supermarkets.

I think more standard sockets would help. I hated having to be parked in one corner of the room to charge anything

We were there as a large family reunion group. Some guests yelled at us for talking outside of our rooms around 9pm as they were trying to sleep. There was a whole really nice outdoor area, but it was under renovation or just not open during our visit. That would have been nice to have available.

Right on Grand Anse Beach, close to restaurants and bars, less cost than other hotels in the area. Great A/C.

Rooms are old and dated. Very simple. No restaurant on site. Right next door to the park which hosts a sunrise church service on Sunday. And on the other side is the dishwasher station for the hotel next door.

The grounds are well taken care of, the Allamanda attracts friendly guest who will always stop and chat. The Allamanda is excellent value for money, The staff and owner will go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay. It’s steps to the beach and the sunsets are magical I have stayed at the allamanda 5 years running and will be back.

There could be and outside kitchen facility but as we all know guests would have to use responsibly to ensure it was kept clean

I loved the location. It was an excellent view looking out from the verandah onto the ocean.

The location was excellent. The beach is right there. Numberous food places. Supermarket within walking distance. Transport (bus) readily available.Just take tge #1 bus to tge city and back. $2.50EC or $1USD.

The location was excellent! It is right on Grand Anse Beach and also next to the Mall, grocery and eating places.

The hotel is a bit dated, so in hindsight, I consider price fair - initially I thought we got a steal of a deal. The only issue that I found unpleasant, is that we had a leaky toilet. We reported it, then made a follow-up enquiry later in the day. When the plumber came, he reportedly advised that the toilet had to be removed for it to be fixed. No arrangement was made for us until we asked, we were then relocated to another room. A bit inconvenient, then, from my perspective, we were hustled to return the key for the initial room. I just wish it was handled better.

The location was perfect. The hotel was right on the beach and 5 minutes away from all the bars, The Mall, supermarket and the bank. It didn't have a restaurant but that was fine as you have the local supermarket that sells hot food for breakfast. The bedrooms were very clean, spacious and adequate for our trip. We loved being on the beach and close to all amenities. The room has a fridge, coffee machine and iron board. You can get an iron from reception.

The only negative was that it didn't have a restaurant on site to have breakfast in the morning.

The location of the Allamanda is lovely as you can walk right off the property onto Grand Anse Beach. There are some lounge chairs available that you can bring from the property to the beach. The Allamanda is at an easy walk to many fine restaurants, some on the beach or only a block away close to the Spice Island Mall. The Mall also has the Real Value/IGA food store, which is a plus and a bank for getting money from the ATM. The rooms were clean, nicely air-conditioned and the staff was friendly. I spent some time in the pool and on the pool deck and it was lovely. It was a standard pool, so don't expect a lagoon area or swim up bar. The grounds are beautiful complete with fruit trees, palm trees and flowers. The verandas attached to each room were private and it was enjoyable to sit out during the day. The resort has outside showers and taps to wash sand off your feet and to cleanse yourself before entering the pool. The staff was wonderful at giving us late checkout so we did not have to hang around somewhere else waiting for our plane. I noticed there was a luggage room too, that could accommodate those who wanted to store luggage. The room came with a decent size mini fridge and coffee maker. There were plastic coffee cups, coffee, tea, sugar and powdered milk, plus glasses. When we checked in, we were given a bottle of water each. The shower was lovely, with a nice spray and hot water. The hotel provides a small bottle of shampoo/conditioner, towels and beach towels. The hotel is budget-friendly for those who want a clean room and comfortable bed, but not the other amenities of the more expensive resorts. It was nice to have the weight room, with exercise equipment and hand weights. There were fans in the fitness room to keep it cool.

As the public park is next door and it was the weekend of Grenada's Independence Celebration, there was quite a bit of noise coming from the park, including a sunrise church service at 6 am on Sunday morning. It would have been nice to have a simple breakfast available. The restaurant/bar that was formerly open at the resort is now closed. I feel the hotel has lost out on an excellent opportunity to increase revenue by not re-opening the restaurant/bar. I used the exercise room. The equipment was adequate, but I would suggest a spray bottle or wipes to clean off the equipment after use. The room, especially the black floor interlocking rubber tiles, could use a good cleaning. I got a black "soot-like" substance all over my runners, my short bottom and my legs and arms when I tried to do some stretching and floor exercises. I inquired about a washer and dryer and was told the housekeeping staff would do it. Unfortunately, each item had a price attached to it. It would be helpful for the hotel to create a laundry room with coin-operated washers and dryers for guests to use themselves.

Hotel location is perfect, right in the middle of Grand Anse beach, and beach fronting. I liked that the hotel had a pool, a gym, and additional showering facilities by the pool. The staff were friendly, and everything that I asked for was met (baring balcony sliding door fix). The hotel had good spaces outside of the rooms for sitting and reading, chatting to other residents.

The room security was poor. As an example, the lock to my balcony sliding door was broken, so a piece of wood was provided to put in the door sliding mechanism so that the door could not be opened from outside. This did not give me confidence that someone could not get in. Also no bar facilities in the hotel, either in main hotel, or by the pool. This was a missed opportunity I felt. The mosquito mesh on all windows also had holes/gaps in them, and there were a lot of mosquitos in the room.

The location is perfect, right on the beach. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the bed was extremely cozy. All rooms have a balcony with a lovely view. Everything was very clean, and I appreciated having a kettle and coffee machine in the room, including complimentary coffee. There are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, and a shopping mall just two minutes away, which makes everything very convenient. You really have everything you need nearby. Some of the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, although others could improve their customer service and being more helpful. A special mention to the lady with the longer hair/ braids, she was exceptionally kind and helpful, and also to the owner, who was very friendly. Although the hotel is little bit older and not super fancy it has a really good vibe, and the beach in front is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Grenada. Good value for money

The safe in the room was unfortunately broken, which made me feel uncomfortable leaving my valuables inside. That was disappointing and something that should definitely be addressed. While some staff members were very kind and welcoming, others were less customer oriented and not particularly friendly, when asking something they reacted annoyed. Upon arrival, although a male receptionist was present at reception, no assistance was offered with the luggage to bring it in the room. It was not a major issue, but small gestures like that can make a difference, especially if you are travelling alone Overall, a bit more consistency in service and attention to guest experience would significantly improve the stay.

Simple but good prices. Best part of the entire length of the beach for swimming is directly in front of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We have a boat here and stay twice a year -before launch and after haul-out - and it’s always great.
