Reviewed Apr 20, 2026The staff were honestly the standout. Super friendly, very on it, and just made everything feel easy from the moment I arrived. Didn’t feel forced at all, genuinely welcoming. Breakfast was also a win. Properly done, good quality, and you can tell they actually care about the experience, not just ticking a box. Overall, it just felt comfortable. They go out of their way without making a big deal about it, which makes a difference. You feel looked after without it being over the top.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2026The pool area and communal areas are lovely and the property and our room was very clean. Breakfast was great (loved the muffins!) Easy to walk into Franschhoek.
Our room strangely had no bedside lamps so someone had to get into bed in the dark. The shower was completely open to the rest of the bathroom so the bathroom unfortunately flooded every time the shower was used and the whole room felt a little damp and wet from that.

Reviewed Mar 15, 2026Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, with a lovely sense of care in the way it was served. It was the perfect way to begin the day. The location was excellent, peaceful and beautifully positioned, while still being close enough to enjoy Franschhoek with ease. A wonderful balance of quiet comfort and convenience. And the best coffee I have ever had! The majestic mountain views are only outshone by manager, Sadie’s exceptional, top-tier hospitality!
That we only stayed for one evening! Will most certainly book for a longer stay in the very near future. Besides that, absolutely nothing to not like!
