Amazing place staff super helpful too

L’hôtel est juste magnifique, très bien entretenu et très propre. La piscine est incroyable, nous en avons profité tous les jours ! Chambres propres et spacieuses.

We loved our stay. The rooms were very large. We hired scooters and had a great time exploring. Staff were always very helpful and kind.

Very clean accommodation comfy beds. The grounds were well kept and the pool area was very really relaxing. Quite location. The beach is around 10 minutes walk. Close to restaurants. We hired a motorbike directly from the hotel. Which was perfect for visiting the north and south of the island.

Hôtel en pleine nature, loin du tourisme de masse à Phu quoc. La piscine est vraiment agréable et la nourriture était super bonne. Le personnel est adorable.

Ma chambre était un peu datée. Les cigales qui font un bruit assourdissant et l’emplacement assez excentré qui fait qu’il est dur de prendre un grab en last minute

Our room was on the ground floor, 5 steps to the pool and bar area. So relaxing after the bustle of Vietnam mainland. Staff amazing, helpful and happy. Would definitely return. Thank you Emerald Garden Retreat for a wonderful stay.

Je kwam binnen in een oase van rust , de kamer was prachtig en super schoon! Genoeg ligbedden aan het zwembad , waardoor je altijd plek had om even lekker te zonnen. Ook het eten was heerlijk bij het resortrestaurant. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!

Прекрасное место! Жили 6 ночей. Тишина, красивая территория и отличный бассейн. Жили в трёхкомнатном бунгало с общей террасой. Комнаты большие, в каждой свой санузел и отдельный вход. Очень добрый и отзывчивый управляющий. На пляж отвезёт, валюту обменяет по хорошему курсу, у него же можно купить любую экскурсию. Огромнейший плюс - стиральная и сушильная машины бесплатно (если свой порошок). Рядом отличный пляж!

Хотелось бы, чтобы был включён завтрак. Кафе/кухня есть, но во время нашего отдыха не работало. Но мы знали об этом заранее, поэтому всё нормально.

Отличный отель. Выбирали бунгало, и наш вариант подошел прекрасно. Само жилище хорошее: зонированный душ (без бесячей общей зоны с унитазом, ничего не забрызгано), шкафчиков достаточно, холодильник, смарт-тв. На улице своя веранда, и зонирование живой изгородью от других. Отдельно хочу отметить: 1. Управляющий отелем- максимально приятный человек, сделал для нас все, чтобы размещение было комфортным. 2. На кухне прекрасные люди: кормили вкусно, и всякие наши просьбы (порезать фрукты, предоставить лед, штопор, бокалы)- все исполнялось без труда. 3. Коты. На территории прекрасные коты. Мы в них влюбились. Желаю процветания этому месту, ваше размещение на Фукуоке сильно сказалось на оценку отпуска в целом.

Piękny zielony teren Rośnie tam dużo owoców które można popróbować. Dostaliśmy świetny Domek, czyściutki Basen również bardzo fajny, obiekt jest nie wielki przez co jest klimatycznie, nie ma tłoku W restauracji normalne ceny, bardzo dobra kawa i koktajle. Przemiły Pan z recepcji, bez problemu wydaje ręczniki na basen. Nie daleko do bardzo ładnej plaży i lokalnego sklepiku. W pobliżu jest kilka restauracji i masaży. My dojechaliśmy tam autobusem z lotniska - zatrzymuje się w niedalekiej odległości od hotelu, później mieliśmy jeszcze kolejny pobyt w mieście to braliśmy już Bolta

Jednak trochę daleko do miasteczka, wieczorami mało się dzieje. Najlepiej mieć tam autko lub skuter. My akurat byliśmy krótko więc nie mieliśmy niczego wynajętego

Everything is great about this place! The rooms are big, clean and beautiful. The pool is clean and a great spot to relax. The hotel host is very helpful and sweet, the vibe of the place is very peaceful. One of the best places in Phu Quoc.

Cannot fault the friendliness of our host not the cleanliness and facilities of the whole resort, thank you, what a lovely man. No breakfast Feb 26, but no bother, we found somewhere near the beach.

The property was exactly as described and well maintained. Location was great. The manager was always available and answered all queries. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Le bungalow était spacieux et calme, bien situé au niveau de l'ile entière. La literie confortable, la douche bien que manquant de pression était rapidement chaude.

Les rideaux n'étaient pas assez occultants pour la lumière, le réveil était donc matinal. Sinon rien de négatif a dire.

Na de hectiek van de nacht op Long beach was Emerald Garden Retreat echt een verademing als in een oase van rust. Alles was fijn en goed geregeld, we hebben genoten van het zwembad en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Vooral de manager Nhan Throng verdient een grote pluim, hij runt het resort met een heerlijk brede lach en veel plezier. Niets bleek hem teveel toen ik mijn bankpasjes in een la vergeten was, maar intussen al in Ho chi Min zat. Nhan heeft er voor gezorgd dat ik ze uiteindelijk in Hoi An via de post weer veilig en wel heb ontvangen. Een hele geruststelling waarvoor uiteraard hartelijk dank. Als wij ooit weer op Phu Quok komen zullen we hier zeker weer verblijven.

Alles was prima geregeld.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The pool was also nice.

Unfortunately the restaurant was temporarily closed due to construction. So there was no breakfast. The walls were a bit thin, so that you could hear your neighbor snore. (He was snoring like a Jackhammer)

The property is very clean and had facility to rent a motorbike. The location is great and peaceful.

Die neuen Zimmer am Pool sind super schön eingerichtet. Mit sehr viel Platz und sehr schönen Bädern. Alles war sehr sauber

Such a spacious apartment with large bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, with everything we needed. Seemed very good value. Gorgeous swimming pool. Very convenient position to be able to walk to mini market, restaurants and lovely beach. Our stay was far too short- wished we could have stayed longer, as it was perfect.

Wat een parel is dit resort! Rustig gelegen. Prachtige grote kamer, modern, schoon, sfeervol en prachtig ingericht. De badkamer is echt heel groot en praktisch! Veel opbergruimte voor kleding. Een smart tv waar wij konden inloggen met ons Netflix account. Een heerlijk zwembad. Het personeel is ook geweldig en heel behulpzaam. Je kan er een was draaien en drogen. We hebben echt genoten! Wilde nog bijboeken maar dat kon helaas niet, ze zaten vol. Ik raad dit resort echt aan.

Er is een restaurant maar er is geen ontbijt mogelijk. Om de hoek zijn genoeg restaurants om te ontbijten! De man van de receptie zei dat er ontbijt beschikbaar komt over ca 2 weken.

Skvělý personál, super bazén, měli jsme krajní apartmán, takže dost super. Manažer nám půjčil skútr za dobrou cenu na 3 dny a také zajistil praní prádla. Na ostrově je skútr nutností.

There wasn’t breakfast available but to be perfectly honest with you we didn’t require it as we had a gorgeous bungalow with kitchen where we could make anything we liked There was enough pans and crockery but anything you needed extra is supplied on request We met Nhan at the reception where we were greeted by him with the warmest, kindest smile: we knew from that first impression how it was going to be We were taken to our Garden bungalow where we took a few hours rest before we ventured out The pool felt more like a private pool on some days, We were greeted every morning by ‘coconut man’ sorry I should have remembered his name but we remember him with affection. Coconut man climbed trees and brought us the freshest, most beautiful coconut you will ever have, some days we sneaked a drop of vodka in as well to enjoy in the Jacuzzi Going back to Nhan.. he will take you on the buggy to the beach, atm, bus stop, please just ask There is a fee bus service at the top of the road that will get you to where you need to be. If your bags are heavy or you’re tired message Nhan and he will pick you up as you get off the bus, nothing is too much trouble Location is quiet but you can make it as busy or serene as you wish The hotel did have some building work going on but it was done out of season so on that basis we just got on with the holiday and enjoyed every minute Our thanks also to the beautiful E that made sure we had fresh linen on the bed daily ( although some days we didn’t require it) The rooms were just gorgeous when we returned, the housekeeping was impeccable , there’s is always a supply of bottled water . There’s a hairdryer, shampoo and body wash so no need to pack those items Well done to everyone at Emerald Garden resort We will be back sooner than we think

Ein sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattetes Hotel. Restaurants ca 400 m im Umfeld.

Tragisch, dass ein Restaurantbereich vorhanden ist, es aber weder Getränke noch Speisen gibt. Sehr schade, das mindert den Komfort enorm. Der Weg zur Hauptstraße ist nicht beleuchtet.

Lovely peaceful retreat with excellent service and big spacious rooms. Nhan (resort manager) went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He helped us with driving us in the buggy, exchanging money and booking tickets. Thank you Nhan for a perfect stay!

Short walk to Ong Lang Beach—perfect getaway! Just take a Scooty on rent and you’re good to explore every hidden gem there. Highly recommend.🌸

I feel so lucky to have found this hidden Gem. The Rooms were beautiful, brand new and clean . I found the owner and family to be very kind and helpful anytime I needed something. I give this place 10 stars 🌟

Очень уютный отель. Все чистое, территория не большая. На ресепшен очень приветливый персонал. Рядом есть стиральные машины, кафе, магазины! Красота!

I liked the sun loungers, the pool and the location. Lots of restaurants near by, but it was still quiet. Daily cleaning bedding and towels was excellent.

There is ongoing building work next door, noise and bonfire smoke - 2 houses in early build stage. We were messed around with our room when we arrived. We had to stay in another hotel for first few days. No food on site, the room kitchenettes are not properly equipped with plates or cutlery. Our family had 4 rooms in total.

Great pool, nice rooms, super friendly staff and in a quiet location. Just 5mins walk to the beach. We will be back again!

Wir hatten leider etwas Pech mit unserem Bungalow, da dieser aktuell von Termiten (Türrahmen zum Bad) befallen war. Das Personal war aber sehr bemüht und hat die Stellen täglich gereinigt. Außerdem wurde uns ein alternatives Zimmer, welches mitten in der Renovierung war, angeboten.

Camere grandi e accoglienti , tutte con un grande bagno. Il bungalow che abbiamo prenotato era dotato di tre camere, tutte molto belle, un balcone e un giardino. Il mare è raggiungibile a piedi.

The property had everything we needed and more. We didn’t expect it to be so good.

The only sad part was that the restaurant was closed due to renovations. But the manager Nhan drove us to nearby restaurants whenever we needed.

Room was spacious and clean - it was cleaned daily if requested. We loved the bathroom with lots of sunlight and a big shower. The staff was always helpful and ready to support us. We really enjoyed our stay there.

There was no restaurant or breakfast option on site, so we had to get breakfast elswhere and there were not many options nearby.

La segunda habitación que nos dieron estaba bien y la piscina tambien

Experiencia muy decepcionante. Por las fotos parecía un resort casi de lujo y muy bonito pero la realidad es otra muy distinta. La primera noche nos pusieron en un bungalow muy viejo, lleno de hormigas, termitas y gekos. Tras pedirle al recepcionista que por favor nos cambiase de habitación porque no estábamos agusto lo único que hizo es traer un spray y matar algunas hormigas, pero nada mas. Pasamos una noche horrible. Por la mañana le dijimos que por favor nos cambiasen de habitación y tras consultarlo con el dueño al final lo hicieron. Y la segunda mucho mejor, mas moderna y cuidada pero seguía teniendo termitas y gekos pero ya no dijimos nada. Tras lo ocurrido no nos ofrecieron ninguna compensación, al contrario, el ultimo día se presentaron dentro de la habitación a pedirnos lo que faltaba por pagar, en vez de esperar en recepción a que fuesemos nosotros, fue muy agresivo, nos sentimos atacados. Por otro lado, pone resort, pero no tiene nada de resort, no tiene restaurante por lo que tienes que conducir 20 minutos para encontrar uno y el hotel esta en obras y a las 7 de la mañana ya están haciendo ruido, por lo que no puedes descansar nada. Cuando nos vino a buscar el grab, el personal de recepción no nos vino ni a despedir. Y luego leimos que habia transporte gratuito y te podian venir a buscar desde el centro del hotel, cosa que tampoco nos dijeron. No nos recomendaron ningun sitio para ver ni planes para hacer. Lo que parecía que iba a ser los mejores días de Vietnam se convierton en una gran decepción. No recomendaría para nada este sitio.

Das Zimmer und die Anlage waren sehr neu und gepflegt und Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Um die Ecke gibt es leckere Restaurants wie das Steamside.

Das wifi im Zimmer hätte besser sein können und eine Frühstücksoption wäre wünschenswert. Aktuell ist nebendran noch eine Baustelle, sodass man am Pool nicht ungestört ist.

Когда мы приехали,бассейн был грязный. Через день-два его почистили. Когда щел дождь, крыша протекала.

Ubytování je v klidné části, v okolí dostatek restaurací i obchod. Majitel velmi nápomocný, se vším pomohl. Opravdu velmi ochotny!!

Hospitality, property and maintenance

A little far from city center

Supermysig miljö, nära till butiker, stånd, mataffär, strand och restauranger. Fin pool, generöst med plats. Hotellvärden var OTROLIGT servicminded och vänlig. Han gav trygghet åt vistelsen för vi hittade på mycket under dagarna.

Vi hade otur med en våra toaletter som inte ville spola ordentligt.

It had a lot of greenery and so private. It is far from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet the facilities inside the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. Went with a group of friends and we truly enjoyed the place. Nhan was quick and attentive to our needs. He went above and beyond, when he helped to source a cake for a friend’s birthday♥️ Tq Nhan!

Honestly, zero complaints 😃 would return if possible, hopefully it will remain a hidden gem always!

Прекрасный отель с бунгало, все удобства, свой бассейн, зелёная территория, соседи достаточно далеко, чувствуешь себя как на даче))) Спасибо огромное всему персоналу, реагировали моментально, выполнялись практически любые просьбы! Очень добрые, искренние и положительные люди! Чудесно отдохнули! С теплом вспоминаем замечательный отдых!

Не очень чистая уборка

Schöne Anlage mitten im Grünen. Die Bungalows sind modern und sauber und man hat alles was man benötigt, inklusive Roller und Tourenorganisation. Sie Betten fanden wir bequem. Die Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Der Pool ist schön groß. Das Hotel ist ca. 10-15min Fußweg vom Strand entfernt, wer möchte kann aber jederzeit vom Hotel gefahren werden. In der Umgebung sind einige sehr leckere Restaurants und gute Massagen. Der Manager ist total freundlich und sehr um seine Gäste bemüht, wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl hier gefühlt.

Wir hatten den 3 Bedroom Bungalow gebucht der auf Booking zumindest für uns wie ein Bungalow mit 3 Schlafzimmern aussah. Er hat auch 3 Schlafzimmer, allerdings sind diese komplett voneinander getrennt, es sind also vielmehr 3 separate Einzelzimmer (jeweils mit voller Badausstattung) mit je eigenem Zugang. Das kann je nach Konstellation gut sein oder weniger passen. Bei uns war es aufgrund zwei kleiner Kinder letzteres, wir konnten dann aber nach einer Nacht problemlos in einen 2 Room Bungalow umziehen, der sogar eine kleine Küche hatte und zwei verbundene Schlafzimmer. Es ist eigentlich nichts negatives, wollte aber hier kurz erwähnt werden..

Нашей семье с тремя детьми все понравилось. Детям особенно понравилось, что на гольфмобиле нас возили до ресторана и к морю. Бассейн отличный. Уборка чаще, чем нам нужно :). Спасибо за комфортные 3 недели!

The resort manager, Nhan, provides tip-top customer service ensuring our extended family of 10 have a fun and enjoyable experience. He takes care of every little detail of the trip, gives us tour recommendations and transportation advice and assistance. We are so grateful of his service of excellence and are looking forward to be come back.

Huge bungalow with plenty of space for our family of four. Very comfy beds. Great pool that we had to ourselves nearly every day. Close to a lovely beach that they will take you to on the buggy. Provided plenty of bottles of water daily and room cleaned daily if required. Helped us by booking a taxi to take us to the hospital when my daughter needed stitches! Amazing wildlife sounds in the evening when you go outside. Centrally situated on the island so not too far to all of the activities and easy to get a Grab/taxi. Shops within walking distance for basic supplies.

Only thing that would have been nice is if the restaurant had been open or at least some drinks available but we knew it wasn't going to be when we were there.

We spent 3 weeks in vietnam and this was our favourite accommodation- the hosts are so friendly and willing to help, Nhan is always there to help with bookings, taxis, and he will drive you to the beach and restaurants in his buggy. The rooms are really big, modern and clean- the best value for money. The pool is amazing and the gardens are beautiful and peaceful. Thank to you Nhan and staff for a very genuine welcome.

Everything was lovely but it would have been nice to have a have the possibility to buy drinks or food in the accommodation. However there are shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. The laundry service was inexpensive and efficient.

Nice, clean, lovely, quiet place. Really spacious room and good value for money. Staff even offered for us to pick the fruits from the trees (which was an interesting experience).

A bit far from the touristy area, better if you could ride motorbike.

this was the best accommodation we had in vietnam throughout 3 weeks. everything was perfect - nice room, comfy beds, comfy bathroom, beautiful pool, close to 2 stunning beaches, restaurants and shops around but without any noise or people around. also you can get around the island easily by using the free phu quoc bus what has a stop a few minutes walking from the hotel. also the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

The property was surrounded by trees. Our family of 5 loved 3 bedrooms with king size beds with private bathrooms. We enjoyed coffee on the covered veranda. The pool was refreshing. Having our own villa made it very quiet and private. What made our stay exceptional was Nhan. He was always a text away. He helped coordinate everything: 1. 4 island on speedboat with snorkeling. Vietnamese lunch provided. Finished with a cable car ride. Shuttle picked us up at the resort and dropped us off. 2. He coordinated “motorbikes” for the family. 3. He suggested and bought tickets for the Symphony of the Sea and Kiss of the Sea shows. 4. Arranged transportation to and from the airport. 5. Recommended places to go: Rach Vem to see the starfish, Khem Beach, Sunset Town. The beach was a 5 minute walk. Our a 2 minute buggy ride. He provided directions, took us by buggy to restaurants, ATM machine, did our laundry, etc. He went above and beyond to make it a memorable stay.
