Reviewed Aug 22, 2026Wir verbrachten eine Nacht auf der Durchreise im Lisalway County Lodge B&B. Super netter Empfang. Wir bekamen warme Scones mit Butter und Marmelade aufs Zimmer. Das Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sehr hochwertig ausgestattet und alles sehr sauber und sehr ruhig. Super bequemes großes Bett. Wir konnten uns aussuchen, was wir zum Frühstück, zusätzlich zum Buffet haben wollten. Es gab frischen Obstsalat, Säfte, Joghurts und vieles mehr als Basis und dazu sehr leckeres Rührei mit Hash Brown und Tomate. Parkplatz hinter dem Haus Das B&B ist für eine Nacht eigentlich viel zu Schade. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Breakfast was lovely and we cleaned our plates. Make sure you have Tommy's home made brown bread, absolutely delicious. All in all great place. If passing will be back. Lisa and Conor.

Plenty of fresh coffee to hand too as well as the yogurts cereal etc exceptional

The room felt like a luxury hotel, with so many small, useful touches that made our stay especially comfortable. Pam and Tommy are wonderful hosts - warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was outstanding, with a fantastic variety of delicious options, all beautifully prepared. The location is also excellent, making it easy to visit nearby castles and other attractions. We are so happy we chose to stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Pam and Tommy, for such a memorable stay!

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026Sehr schönes und luxuriöses Zimmer auf dem Land. Fantastisches, total vielfältiges Frühstück, auch ein gutes Full Irish Breakfast, wenn man möchte. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Zum nächsten Restaurant fährt man höchstens 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wenn man länger als eine Nacht bleiben möchte, wäre wohl ein Zimmer in der oberen Etage ganz gut: von da hat man eine schöne Aussicht.

Le propriétaire est très accueillant, sympathique, à l'écoute. la chambre spacieuse, confortable, très belle moquette,literie très confortable, la sdb bien équipée . Le déjeuner irlandais très bon ,il y avait du choix pour le déjeuner dans une très salle bien décorée. C'était très chic. Le lodge est au centre de l 'Irlande , nous avons apprécié le calme, nous avons donc pu visiter les régions avoisinantes, surtout le Connemara. Paysages magnifiques.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Die Gastgeber Danny und seine Frau waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich. Der Service war durchgehend sehr gut und auf individuelle Wünsche wurde sofort eingegangen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück, das frisch und sehr hochwertig zubereitet wurde. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und insgesamt fühlt man sich sehr wohl.
Der einzige kleine Nachteil war, dass der Boden im Zimmer bei jedem Schritt etwas geknirscht hat.

A beautiful breakfast, fresh fruit salad, cereals , fruit juice, home made brown bread and delicious home made buns and made to feel extremely welcome by both Tommy and Pamela. Couldn't recommend the whole experience highly enough.
Had a little trouble finding the place but a phone call to Tommy for directions had us there in no time at all.

They accommodate your needs no matter how big or small; if they can, they will. Breakfast was yummy (best poached eggs ever). They even leave you a pen and paper for the things you need to write down. lovely touch. Oh, and most of all, quiet as a mouse, you will sleep like a baby

We all really enjoyed our stay. The location is a beautiful, peaceful rural setting, It would be a great location as a base to visit places such as Galway, Sligo, Mayo among others due to its central position in the country.. We would highly recommend Lisalway Lodge.

The welcome from Pam was very warm (even warm scones on arrival!!), our room was beautifully appointed, the bed was comfortable and the large bathroom was well supplied with beautiful accessories and soaps. Tommy and Pam put on a superb breakfast, with hot food to order and a great range of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals. If you are looking for comfort, aesthetic beauty and value for money, this little gem is for you!

Breakfast was great- homemade scones, bread, fruit salad, yogurt, cereal. There is also a fresh cooked breakfast if you want it. The owners were helpful and lovely people. There is plenty of parking. We wished we had booked for another night.

Tommy war sehr lieb und hat uns für unsere Fahrt nach Dublin noch Tipps für Stops auf dem Weg aufgeschrieben. Wirklich sehr empfehlenswert und gemütlich.
