Rita was a very good /nice host .
The host Rita was wonderful and most welcoming. The room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious.
The water pressure in shower was a bit low.
Rita est très accueillante, merci beaucoup.
Rita wonderfully friendly and gave fantastic recommendations for supper. She made an incredible breakfast and was very attentive. We had an amazing stay.
Water pressure in the shower a bit low. Which as a Canadian I expected it to be, compared to what I am used to.
Perfect stay. Rita, the host, is a gem. The rooms are comfortable and Rita is very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the location is much more quiet than Main Street further to the East which can be a little noisy, if you are a light sleeper, with lorries going past in the middle of the night. I have been to this B&B before about nine years ago and nothing has changed, which is good.
The walk into town isn't too onerous but parking is free in town and plentiful. Benny's Deli isn't too far away either and on the right side of town for this B&B.
The host Rita a true lady, professional and friendly and made our stay v enjoyable
Everything perfect
Love the owner and the house. Very comfortable and cozy. She couldn't of been more cordial and welcoming.
The house is located just outside Castlerea with a beautiful garden and view. Rita made us feel very welcome and at home. Prepared a lovely Irish breakfast in the morning.
The shower might need a little fix. After a hard day’s work the walking distance back into village centre was too long. But Rita came up with a food delivery service.
The BNB was exceptional. Rita was a really lovely host. The selection for breakfast was great. Bed was vert comfortable. Will definitely stay again. 5 stars
Rita is a great host
Lovely house on the edge of town, beautiful room, super breakfast. Rita, the host, is lovely, welcoming and friendly.
Nothing.
The breakfast was excellent.
The bed was a little too soft, but that is a personal preferance.
Easy to find, close to town & with a welcoming host, our stay was just as we'd expected.Breakfast was great,Rita laid on a fine spread.
The rain!
Rita´s very nice and made us feel welcome on both occasions that we stayed with her. She explained everything clearly and laid on a lovely breakfast in a bright and airy dining room - no mean achievement given the weather outside! Also, the bedroom window gave onto a nice view, come rain or shine.
Pressed to say something ,maybe another chair in the room, but that´s been true of various other places too.
Lovely location
Cleanliness, no curfew, clear instructions when you are going to be out late
Rita was most welcoming. The B&B is immaculate and very comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious!
Nothing!
Superb welcome and a delicious breakfast!
nothing!
We just loved how accommodating Rita was. It was an absolute pleasure staying in her place.
Rita is a warm and kind host, and we loved talking with her. Our room was immaculate and was designed to ensure that all of our needs were met. It was exactly what we needed for our stay.
We loved everything! Breakfasts were excellent….Rita went out of her way to help us with local transportation as we were exploring our ancestors roots. Rita’s conversations with us were very enjoyable and gave us a glimpse of the thoughts of people in the Castlerea region.
Nothing could be better…we hated to leave!
Our host was amazing and looked after us really well. She organised a taxi for us when we needed it as well! She cooked us lovely breakfasts and I loved the strawberry yoghurt and fresh fruit salad. The room was spacious with a lovely outlook. Close to a laundrette and Lidl. Very happy.
Nothing, it was great and met our needs.
Welcomed by Rita the owner who couldn't do enough for us.

Rita was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely
Clean and comfortable accommodation, welcoming hosts, good night sleep and tasty breakfast.
convenient, clean, great service.
Very high standards, excellent owner who cares. About her customers, she also provides top-class breakfasts .
Nothing
Very friendly reception from the lady running it. Clean and easy to get to. Would stay again
A bit of a walk to the town centre
Rita was very welcoming and helpful. It was cold the first night and she even put a hot water bottle in the bed -it was a much appreciated warm welcome back that night! 😀
I hadn’t spotted that the host just takes cash payment. The garage was nearby to get cash, but perhaps this could be made clearer in advance to save time - an easy thing to sort. Otherwise everything was super.
Friendly staff that provided all sorts of recommendations and made our stay a delightful experience. The room was up to par to a hotel. The bathroom had water mixers that worked. The heating elements worked. The house is next to a major road but it's situated far from the street, which provides a quite environment. The breakfast is made to order by the owner and served in a restaurant styled room. It was great!
Be aware that the stay needs to be paid ON CASH ONLY. Booking.com only states is cash in a small section of the description that the owner recognizes a lot of people don't read. We had to go to an ATM close by to be able to pay for the stay.
Rita was the best, most fantastic friendly host!
Couldnt get a breakfast till 08.00, which was no good to me as i had to catch a ferry and there would have been a time limit
No breakfast and no TV, shower didnt work properly
Rita is such a lovely lady and excellent host. The breakfast was lovely and a good choice. Rooms were clean and there were shampoos and conditioners for the shower. Also, the location was great, about 15 mins walk from the town. I would highly recommend Rita's B&B if you're in the area.
Rita served a lovely full Irish breakfast as well as cereal, fruit and beautiful yogurt. All the tea and coffee and toast we wanted.
Was very clean and rita was very friendly. Breakfaat was lovely we have already booked our next stay. Highly recommend
Made to feel welcome right from the start. Perfect stay for the few days we were here 😀
Rita was a wonderful host and very kind. The room was lovely and cosy and breakfast was plentiful and perfectly cooked.
Nothing.
This lovely b&b place is run by a very friendly lady who gave us a warm welcome and always made sure we had an enjoyable stay. The place is very cozy, and our room was spacious, bright and clean, although the bathroom was quite small and offered only cold water. The breakfast (fruit salad, toast and cereal) was very tasty. Located at the end of the town, it took some time to walk to the train station but we hadn't too much luggage so it was alright. We would definitely stay here again!
location was good , the property was very clean . The breakfast was delicious but a bit more attention to what guests actually want would greatly enhance this rather than assuming everyone likes the same thing.
Owner only accepts cash, no cards! Very outdated . The bed was very uncomfortable and we were not allowed to use the other single bed in the room. The water and shower pressure was ridiculous and the tap in the sink gave only a trickle of water.
clean
Good spot
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and good service.
Host was truly lovely and easy to talk to. Rita is a lovely lady, very welcoming and a wonderful sense of humour. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb, an excellent selection to meet all tastes. We would highly recommend staying at this lovely B&B. We hope to return. Thank you Rita.
Nothing to say, everything was excellent.
Rita was a lovely host. Would definitely come back.
