I think this Camp is FAKE. Just before arrival I got a message the road is destroyed. Then because cancellation ist not possible anymore I had to pay the full price. Via booking.com the camp does not respond to allow a free cancellation. Looks like an organized plan to get money...

L' accueil de nos hôtes était parfait. Le lieu est superbe et impressionnant. Nous n'avons pas dormi en tente mais dans la petite maison en terre. La soirée a été très agréable et apaisante après le tumulte de Marrakech. Bien loin des camps touristiques bruyant. Merci a Lotfi d'avoir organisé la venue et le retour en taxi et la balade a dos de chameau. Merci pour le petit déjeuner délicieux et la soupe aussi !

The food (best tagine from our trip), the surroundings, the quiet, the chats,… the adventure. Clear instructions to arrive. We stayed during an exceptionally rainy period with roads and bridges blocked due to excessive water coming from the mountains. Upon our wake-up however, the owners went out of their way and guided us for about 40 min, through the desert, in order to get back to the main road! Much appreciated. A ride I will not easily forget.

Het kamp is erg mooi gelegen, ondanks het slechte weer toch genoten van ons korte bezoek! Het personeel is top en hebben ons erg goed en welkom ontvangen en geholpen. Het eten smaakte tevens erg goed. Ik zou graag nog eens terug komen, dan hopelijk met beter weer 😉

La localisation indiquée sur Booking n’est pas correcte. De plus, il n’est pas précisé que la route menant à l’établissement est difficilement accessible avec une voiture classique, un véhicule 4x4 est nécessaire.

We had a gorgeous walk in the surrounding area, and the views from the camp are amazing.

The camp is a little tricky to find, and we repeatedly asked for a location on google maps via whatsapp before our arrival but this was never sent. On arrival the staff were friendly but didn't speak much English, although they seemed to be able to chat very easily to the French guests. We were disappointed that we couldn't have a hot shower before bed as there wasn't any pressure and didn't seem to be any hot water. I went back into the dining area to enquire about this, and there were no staff around, but the French guests said that they had been told to wait until morning to have a shower. I texted the hosts to ask about the shower but received no response. In the morning we asked a staff member to come and have a look at the shower, and we managed to get hot water after filling up an entire bucket with cold water. I think perhaps it just takes a really long time for the hot water to get to the 'tents' that are further up the hill. Overall the decor of the camp was a bit disappointing and feels a bit unloved - there is a massive hole in the ground where a swimming pool might be, some tent frames with no canvas on them, and furniture which has seen better days. It definitely doesn't match up to the pictures online.

Le camp est à l'écart des pôles à touristes (et c'est vraiment bien!!). Nous avons passé un réveillon berbère incroyable, dans un camp privatisé à notre attention entouré par un personnel formidable. Quelle beauté, quel calme! La sérénité pour débuter l'année 2026...

L'endroit est magique, calme et assez loin du grand tourisme de masse! Omer est au petit soin et il était inspirant! Le repas du soir était le meilleur qu'on a eu sur tout notre voyage à travers du maroc! Merci pour tout l'équipe🙏

Un immense merci à Omar et Lotfi pour leur accueil exceptionnel ! Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis les bienvenus grâce à une ambiance familiale et chaleureuse. Les paysages sont tout simplement magnifiques, mais ce que nous avons préféré, c'est l'échange avec nos hôtes. Nous avons adoré apprendre d'eux et en découvrir davantage sur la culture berbère. C'était un véritable plaisir pour nous de partager ces moments d'hospitalité et de partage. Je recommande vivement le Camp Ngayan à tous ceux qui cherchent de l'authenticité ! Un lâcher prise et une déconnection totale !

Ein wunderschöner Ort mit toller Aussicht und absoluter Ruhe. Der Service ist hervorragend, und Omar ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Perfekt, um zu entschleunigen und die Wüste zu genießen. Allerdings bekommt man gratis Tee.

Leider war es sehr kalt. Die Ausstattung ist eher einfach und durch Regen teilweise in Mitleidenschaft gezogen.

Very nice and so calm, you can do activities in the dessert or watch the sunset with the amazing views, the food was delicious and the rooms very confy and clean.

Un emplacement incroyable, un hôte d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité incroyables aussi, des installations extras et un repas typique excellent ! Nous recommandons particulièrement le lieu pour la tranquillité, la possibilité de faire des balades autour, l’endroit est très "safe 🙂" et le coucher de soleil sur la petite colline est improbable 🤩

La nourriture était excellente. Nous avons eu le choix du logement entre chambre ou tente c'était très bien.

Accoglienza eccezionale, la coppia di gestori sono carinissimi, le stanze con le pareti in paglia e fango sono coerenti con il contesto, naturalmente sono "minimal", ma è quello che ci si aspetta da una struttura di questo tipo immersa nel nulla. La cena è stata buonissima. Se volete fare giri con cammelli o quad sapranno indirizzarvi. Jaqueline è molto brava a fare i massaggi olistici (solo donne). Da ritornarci.

Le rapport qualité-prix du logement un peu élevé. Par « qualité » j’entends la literie, la taille de la chambre, la salle de bain…un peu cher pour ce que c’est.

Locatie en personeel. Goed eten en uitgebreid ontbijt.

Bereikbaarheid was dramatisch via Google en geen borden onderweg om locatie te vinden.

Het gaf een unieke ervaring van het woestijnleven. En de zonsopgang was adembenemend. De gastvrouw heeft ons perfect verzorgd.

Super freundliche Eigentümer, wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt! Leckeres Frühstück. Schöner Berg vor dem Camp von dem man eine gute Aussicht auf das Atlasgebirge hat.

Die Unterkunft hat Potenzial, wirkt aber deutlich einfacher als auf den Fotos dargestellt. Die Zelte sind etwas lieblos und der marokkanische Flair kommt kaum auf – einfache Glühbirnen statt stimmungsvoller Lampen nehmen dem Ort beispielsweise viel Atmosphäre. In der Nähe stehen Strommasten, und durch Lärm von Straße und Baustelle fehlt leider die erhoffte Ruhe. Das Abendessen war gut, aber recht teuer. Insgesamt wirkt die Anlage weniger liebevoll gestaltet, als die Bilder vermuten lassen. Mit mehr Pflege und Liebe zum Detail könnte das Camp deutlich gewinnen.

Das Personal und das Essen waren wirklich super – sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Leider war die Unterkunft selbst enttäuschend. Die Zelte wirkten abgenutzt, ohne Liebe zum Detail und ohne den marokkanischen Flair, den die Fotos auf Booking.com vermitteln. Die Bilder sind eindeutig gestellt und wecken falsche Erwartungen. Auch die angekündigten Badewannen für Eisbäder gab es nicht. Von der erhofften Ruhe und Stille in der Wüste war leider nichts zu spüren. Insgesamt würde ich die Unterkunft daher nicht empfehlen.

Super vriendelijk! Super lief! Massage was top en een mooie beleving. Zeker een aanrader. Heel behulpzaam voor als je activiteiten wil plannen. Ook naar transport bekijken ze alles voor jou. De Marokkaanse keuken was subliem. Aangename ervaring gehad hier 🧡

Bijzondere plek in de Agafay-woestijn. We verbleven twee nachten in Ngayan Camp en genoten van de prachtige omgeving en het bijzondere uitzicht over de woestijn. De plek heeft een charmante, natuurlijke sfeer en het eten was lekker en goed verzorgd.

Toch vonden we de prijzen aan de hoge kant, zeker gezien het eenvoudige, campingachtige karakter van de accommodatie en de inrichting die wat boerderijachtig aanvoelt. Voor de geboden faciliteiten mag het wat ons betreft iets beter in verhouding staan tot de prijs. Al met al een mooie ervaring op een bijzondere plek, maar met een wat te luxe prijskaartje.

Por decir algo el acceso pero entiendo que es normal si buscas tranquilidad y la experiencia de dormir en una jaima. A nosotros nos organizó la recogida y la vuelta el mismo establecimiento.

The place was beautiful and the staff was very welcoming. I got a delicious dinner and breakfast, and even though I didn't have cash on me, the owner helped me find a solution. At first I wasn't sure I was at the right place, but you only have to follow the signs.

The stay was too short!

It is the best option if you want a break from the noisy Marrakesh in under a 30-minute drive. It was easy to get there during the day; you gotta drive off-road, and that was cool. Omar and his colleague were super friendly, helpful, and kind. They have a beautiful room with books, and it is nicely decorated. We stayed in a tent that was spacious enough, and the bathroom was clean. The view from the tent was lovely. They are still building the place, but so far they are doing a great job in my opinion. I felt very relaxed during the day!

It is noisy. Even though it was in a "remote" area, you could still hear not one, but two mosques singing at 5 am. Also, there is a motorbike center very close by; it seems that they allow their customers to ride those very late at night. We could hear them until 1 am and then very early in the morning as well, so we didn't sleep enough. I can imagine that most camps in Agafay have the same situation. Regarding Agafay itself, don't expect a fully remote area. You will have an amazing view of the big, massive mountains far away, but you'll see big Atena towers everywhere as well. If you cannot make it to the dessert, this is a great alternative!!

Das Camp ist noch im Werden :) den versprochenen Pool gibt es noch nicht, aber solls Schlimmeres geben :)

Jess war extrem nett und die Natur ist atemberaubend.

Wir haben von dem Abendessen leider eine Lebensmittelvergiftung bekommen. Außerdem waren im Pool sehr viele Algen, wodurch das Wasser sehr grün und trüb war. Die Betten waren überdurchschnittlich hart und unbequem

La struttura non offre direttamente escursioni nel deserto di Agafay ma l'oste ci ha accompagnati fino all'escursione con la sua auto. Le tende sono fornite di ventilatori per combattere il caldo estremo

Very friendly host and staff! The location of the camp is great, very calm and not surrounded by other camps. Overall they don‘t have a lot of rooms which helps to support this calm atmosphere.

We found the dinner price quite expensive compared to what we paid at other places. Also we would not recommend to book the Quad Tour with tge camp.

Really great place to enjoy the Agafay desert and learn about Berber culture. Amazing food, amazing staff and super knowledgeable owner. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Better than expected. Serene, simple, perfect for detaching and being quiet. Staff were very friendly and responsive. Dinner was delicious. Campfire was a nice surprise.

Amazing place and wonderful hospitality. Such a peaceful and scenic location, surrounded by red sandstone mountains and snow capped Atlas mountains in the distance. Omar & Lotfi are wonderful hosts, warm, friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and Lotfi's meatball tagine was the best we had in Morocco! Tent was comfortable with a large comfy bed, plenty of warm blankets and good shower with hot water and good toiletries. There are activities such as dessert walking tour, yoga, and massages. They can also arrange camel rides, quad biking and buggy riding in nearby location. Back massage by Lotfi was fabulous, we felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you Omar & Lotfi for a memorable and wonderful stay. We hope to visit you again.

What a REMOTE experience, which is precisely what we looked for. The always onsite Lofti made us feel right at home.

A bit of a guessing game to get there, but the communication made up for it. Just make sure to plan the trip towards this beautiful remote location before hand with the host.

The entire experience was truly enjoyable. The place radiates a unique energy that leaves you feeling calm and at ease. The views were stunning, and the sunrises were absolutely breathtaking.

Nice and friendly staff, really good dinner.We were there in December so it can get a little bit cold in the tents,but you get blankets and a little heater.Bed was comfortable,hot water in bathroom worked. The tent is simple,don't expect too much Luxus. Nice for one night.To do kamel riding you have to walk 20min ,for Quart Rides over 1h.The camp is hard to find,so we decided to get picked up from Marrakesch.The communication worked fine with Omar.Thank you it was a nice experience.
