Tree Elanza, Unit of Santhi Ayurvedic Resort

Very unhygienic, and the rooms could improve their cleanliness. They need complete renovation; otherwise, it's uncomfortable to stay in this hotel. The wooden wall panels are breaking, the plumbing pipe is damaged, no water is coming, and only idli and pongal are available for breakfast, for which the cost is high considering the payment they are getting from us. The bed is hard and there are no dental kit toiletries either.

Service is fine.

"Looks are decieving" sub-par experience at the resort. Looks nothing like pictures. There is no facilities from the resort side except for mineral water and a restuarant. The resort restuarant is unhygienic, the cooking smell near room 303 and 302 is awful and makes it unbearable to stay peacefully. The balconies are shared for rooms which is weird. No toiletries, no soap, no towel nothing. All that has been mentioned as amenities in bookings.com is literally not available. Parking is on a rocky mud surface with no proper roads. Service is fine but everything needs to be requested instead of being proactive. Stag groups are allowed so be prepared to see bachelors hanging around smoking and drinking. Rooms do not have proper latches or lock. The bedsheets have stains. Highly unadvisable to go in as a family. Bachelors or very low budget trips might like it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing stay at this hotel in Kodaikanal! The stay was really comfortable, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the overall experience was excellent. A special thanks to Manager John and Arjun for their warm hospitality and excellent support throughout our stay. The entire staff were very friendly, helpful, and took great care of us. Everything was well managed, and their hospitality genuinely made our Kodaikanal trip even more special. Really appreciate the entire team for their wonderful service. Definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Kodaikanal. Highly recommended! ❤️

We recently completed a 2-night stay at Tree Elanza and had a fantastic experience. The absolute highlight was the staff - they were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The property scores perfect marks from us for both cleanliness and comfort; our room was immaculate and a cozy retreat to return to each day. Although it is bit away from main town, the location is excellent for exploring the area, and the entire stay felt like exceptional value for money. While the facilities were good and well-maintained, it was the top-notch hospitality, hygiene, and overall comfort that truly made our trip special. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

There is nothing to like about this place it’s the worst experience so far

We had booked our rooms in prior and once we called them on the day of check-in they say that no such bookings were made and all rooms are filled and they lie that they called us for confirmation but we didn’t pick the calls where as we never received any calls and the person on call has zero patience and respect on how to talk and once given proofs of calls and booking receipts he hung the phone

Room was not good.. hesitate to walk in rooms not clean and not good maintaining deluxe room very small not even stand two people bed and cupboard are occupied full room... . If we asked anything they said .. people will come.. tats solve.. and breakfast are not good if we asked anything they answered very poor ... Photo was added good but in real room is not good ... I'm not recommended for this property... No car parking also...

One of the finest Resorts to stay in kodaikanal with nice ambience and wonderful staff and are polite,very helpful,and approachable with always a smile on their face. Reception staff especially Mr John Sir (GM) , house keeping staff, restaurant staffs so gentle and welcoming, whatever may be the need. The rooms , Restaurant very neat and tidy. Your service is extremely poor and totally unacceptable. Save your money and health; do not stay here!

We liked Sir John. He made us stay comfortable. A slight argument happened due to some confusion. But immediately he greeted me with smile. And every time he made sure we are comfortable. Felt like home under the guidance of a holly soul. Breakfast was nice and simple and delicious 500% time better than 7 star hotel bfast . We will keep coming. Now we know someone and Kodaikanal will be the only best place for summer vacation.

Nothing. The place was disappointing. It was named resort but no characteristics of a resort were present. The building was falling apart, the switches, bathroom fittings were all falling apart

Everything. The 'resort' seemed to be a mansion of sorts, no support from staff whatsoever, the location was far away but that didn't bother us. The rooms were shabby, the bedding was dirty, the bathrooms were dirty and broken.
