Excellent property and value for money. Super host

The property had everything we needed and more, and it was so nice to sit in front of the indoor fire every night. The kitchen is beautiful and has all the appliances we have at home (air fryer, Nutri bullet, washing machine and dishwasher). The rooms are large and each room has an en-suite bathroom which is great for families. Although the property is not located on the beach, you can see the sea from the porch and there is a lookout built on top of the house where you can see the ocean and the beach.

We would like to suggest that the host upgrade the sleeping pillows, as they are all very soft. Maybe supply medium pillows as well for the beds.

My family fell in love with the property! Absolutely gorgeous.

Elsa was very helpful and always a call/text away when required. We enjoyed the spacious lounge area, the kitchen and dining area, the nice view on the ocean from the living area, the comfy bedrooms and the beach house decorations.

Nothing, except that we didn't expect not to have hand soaps for the bathrooms.

property should be advertised as bathrooms cater for disabled access with no step and maybe provide a shower chair. lots of people look for this and difficult to find easy access bathrooms

Elsa war eine aufgeschlossene, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Ihr Guesthouse ist überaus großzügig vom Platzangebot, mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen erfüllenden Aufenthalt benötigt und stilvoll eingerichtet. Von der Hochterrasse aus konnten wir den wunderschönen Sunset bestens verfolgen. Ein Ort, an dem man das maritime Flair entspannt und in Ruhe genießen kann.

Everything... cleanliness spaciousness ambiance and never met any staff but interaction with Elsa via WhatsApp was good enough.

The property was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. Loved that we could Di our laundry as we were in the road for 3 weeks. We had the whole accommodation to our selves and Elsa went beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

A stunning house that's a landmark in itself. You can truly relax here, both physically and mentally, enjoying its design and numerous details. This was a self-guided tour, but as I understand it, you could ask the owner next door if you had any questions. The house is perfect for a large family as it has many rooms, very comfortable beds, three bathrooms, several living areas, tables, and overall plenty of space. But it's all very cozy! A large kitchen with everything you need, a washer and dryer. You can also hang clothes outside. The backyard is large and allows you to sit by the fire, at the table, or watch the sunset and stars from the veranda.

We had hot days and there was not enough air conditioning.

Elsa ist eine super freundliche Gastgeberin. Wir haben tolle Restaurantempfehlungen von ihr bekommen und sie war immer ansprechbar :) Die schöne Terrasse und die Aussicht haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

Grote vakantie huis met 3 slaapkamers en badkamers. Garage voor de auto en heeft van alles wat je nodig hebt. De host was vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar voor alles.

Everything was fine. The open plan lounge area cum kitchen was relaxed and inviting. We didn't use any outside facilities as were busy all weekend at various events.

I never spoke to other two couples but our bed was too hard for our liking. However, as some people like very hard beds, so be it.

Diese traumhaft schöne Unterkunft in Gansbaai hat uns super gefallen. Wir waren traurig, dass wir nur eine Nacht hier bleiben konnten. Das Haus ist riesig und ganz toll eingerichtet. von der Dachterrasse aus hat man einen wahnsinnig schönen Blick über das Meer. Der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin war super freundlich!

Es war eine super schöne Unterkunft. Leider hatten wir nur eine Übernachtung, wir hätten die Unterkunft gern länger genossen. Elsa war grandios und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Der Check-in war easy per Schlüsselbox. Die Lage ist top, als Ausgangspunkt für Wahle watching Tours. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The host was very helpful and flexible. Location was great, a short walk from the coast with nice tidepools. harbor also withing walking distance. Amenities in the large appartment were complete and generous.

This house is absolutely gorgeous. It has everything that you would need or want in the kitchen, the little garden is well looked after and the fire pit in the backyard was perfect for our braai. We will be back. The host was kind enough to buy wood, blitz and matches for us on request and we really appreciated it.

Maybe an extra fan in one of the bedrooms.

The location was just ideal. It provided the peace and tranquility we were looking for. We prefer a holiday place in a quite environment, instead of the huslle and bustle where there are too much activity and noise. The house has an ambience of home, the decor has an excellent balance of antiquity with a touch of modernity creating just the right balance for the soul. The fact that each bedroom has its own ensuit was a plus factor. And all those couches, wow, a person could just kick off the shoes, lay back and enjoy the comfort of it. We all were extremely impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was with all the conveniences that made our time in the kitchen just that easier. The place was immaculately clean throughout.

Can't think of anything that we did not like.

We had an amazing stay, home was clean and comfortable. Each room has its own bathroom which is awesome! Location is perfect! Will definitely be back again!

We loved the place; it's centrally located and easy to get to everywhere we wanted to be. My favorite - the views from the stoep are absolutely beautiful. one can sit there for hours on end.

I didn't not like anything, loved everything about the place... A swimming pool would be a great addition.

JUST WHEN WE VISITED THERE WAS NO POWER IN THE AREA, AND THERE WAS NO POWER BACK UP, SO HAD TO SEARCH FOR THE PROPERTY AS IT WAS REALLY VERY LATE AT NIGHT AND CALLS WERE ALSO NOT GOING THROUGH AS THERE WAS HEAVY RAIN AND WIND.

Cosy and comfortable house. Loved the indoor braai facilities and the spaciousness of the home since it was really bad weather all weekend, we couldn't be outside and utilised the comfort of the home and entertainment area to the max. The house layout is great with all the rooms on one side and the kitchen and entertainment space on the other side. With a 2-year old we could put her to bed and still have a nice evening without disturbing her. We also liked having secure parking for 3 vehicles. The outdoor space looked appealing but unfortunately due to the weather we were not able to use it.

In one of the bathrooms there was only a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and no spares in any. The electronic gate of the property malfunctioned and closed immediately upon opening causing some damage to my car. Elsa was concerned about it and has offered to help with the repairs to my car.

The location and property were exceptional. Easy to find and great communication from the host. The inside braai and spacious living areas allow for perfect relaxation even when the weather is not perfect. Elsa, the host checked in regularly to find out whether everything was ok and that was appreciated. Thank you Elsa for sharing your beautiful holiday house with us.

Perfect location, most welcoming and caring host and very spacious house. But the best was the view from the terrace . We could even spot whales in the morning.

Everything, just the wifi kicked out everytime we tried listening to music on YouTube or a movie. But Everything else was so welcoming. Defiantly going there again for a week.

From the moment we arrived at Pêrel of Perlemoenbaai, it was clear that our 2-day stay was going to be something special. Despite the short duration, we managed to experience a slice of paradise that left us rejuvenated and eager to return. Pêrel of Perlemoenbaai, which was conveniently located just 30-40 minutes away from the Hermanus and 2 hours from Cape Town airport. The house was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. There's a stunning viewing deck of Gansbaai which is renowned for Whale watching (we unfortunately did not see any, but the view was stunning) The natural beauty of Gansbaai is simply breathtaking. From the sea to the mountains, every moment was a photo opportunity. Our 2-day stay in Pêrel of Perlemoenbaai was a whirlwind of excitement and relaxation. While it was short, it was the perfect break we needed to recharge. We'll definitely be back soon!
